Austin Fields did my tattoo a few weeks ago. It was my first tattoo, and he was awesome with emailing me back and forth about the whole thing, answering all my questions. My tattoo turned out awesome. I had never been to Studio 13 before, and was really happy when I walked in, and saw how great the inside looked - plenty of light coming in, clean, semi-private spaces for each artist. The man at the front desk was very pleasant, explained the electronic paperwork to me, and my appointment was on time. After Austin was finished, my picture was taken with the studio's camera, and then they offered to take pictures of it on my phone for me, which I really appreciated. At checkout, I was given very clear after-care instructions, a packet of A&D ointment and some Studio 13 stickers. Please note, this place is cash only. read more

Garrett Weber is an amazing artist! Very caring, wonderful with his work, professional, and just a genuine soul. He's done a majority of my work and this time around I decided to get double neck tattoos of my cats as RDR characters. Garrett did a wonderful job with the design and they look exactly like my cats. Also, if you're an anxious person like me, he's a great artist to work with as he gives off a calming vibe. 10/10 recommend! read more

I've had 4 tattoos done by Obie Cruz and each one has been more beautiful than the last. He has a light touch and an artist's eye. He made the experience as close to painless as you can get when getting tattooed. He's also very patient, kind and creative. His talent was one of a kind. Can't wait for my next one. If you're looking for a talented tattoo artist with a banging bed side manner... Obie Cruz is the guy you want! I'll be back soon! read more

Best tattooing experience ever! I'm taking my daughter the next time I go so we can get matching tats

Clean studio. Helpful staff. Great artists. I will definitely go back.

This review is for *ANDI FITZPATRICK ONLY*. After several failed attempts in reaching her through email, comments and DM's I thought I would try this method. Back in march 2020,before the pandemic, Andi took a deposit from me and due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to meet. However, after moving to IN she reschedule twice and DID NOT honor those scheduled appointments! She emailed me that she would be refunding me my deposit back in Aug 2021 and I have NOT heard from her ever since. PLEASE stay clear from artist like her!!!! BAD BUSINESS ethics! **MANY California clients would agree*** read more

I found Studio 13 through a Google search, recognized the name, and checked out the website. It's very eye catching and easy to navigate, it draws you in without overloading you - I really appreciate a good website. Because I wanted a tattoo of a hawk, I wanted to find an artist who had done something similar before. I loved all of Logan's work. He had done this owl that so amazing, and I love the floral tattoos he does as well. Thanks to social media, I was able to see a lot more of his work and found it all impressive. Scheduling an appointment was easy - I liked the online form you fill out on the website. Someone responded quickly to my request, setting up a phone call with Logan to discuss what I wanted. Friends would ask if I was nervous about what he was going to come up with, but I felt confident from looking through his previous tats that whatever he created would be awesome. I was nervous the day of the tattoo, but everyone was very friendly at Studio 13, which put me at ease right away. The space is open, bright, and super clean. I liked that we could chat with the other tattoo artist across from the aisle. I just really liked the overall atmosphere that was created there. Logan was great... the design he created was great... it turned out even better than I had imagined. When I'm ready for my next one, I will definitely be returning to Studio 13 to see Logan! read more

I wanted to find an artist whose work I loved. I drove 1.5 hours to get a tattoo done by Rachel and I'm glad I did. She was so kind and exceeded my expectations. Best possible experience. read more

Logan created a custom pineapple tattoo for me and a script down my spine. He was able to take the idea that had been rolling around in my head for two years and create beautiful designs. I was a bit nervous getting two tattoos with COVID, but Studio 13 went above and beyond to keep me and the artists safe. I have several other tattoos from various other studios and none of them used the number of needles that Logan used for my pineapple tattoo. The amount of detail, shading, and highlighting Logan did was incredible. I would highly recommend Studio 13 for your tattoo needs. The staff is incredibly kind and courteous. read more

As with most reviews, they usually only happen if you have had a bad experience. That being said, this was not based on a bad experience, but rather, a lack of communication I believe. I was signed up to get a tattoo here, put down my deposit and just got word of a family issue and have to leave town to take care of it. Called to let them know and learned that since it was not in a 96 hour window, I lose my deposit and will have to make another to get a tattoo. This has me a little upset, mainly because I was not told of a 96 cancellation period when I put the money down. And the fact that is a family issue that needs immediate action, should fall under a different category. But, I understand a business model is something that has worked for them and do not hold them to fault, just letting my experience be known. I don't think I shall be rescheduling, since I have already lost my down payment and this has put a sour note in me. read more

Great shop with great people! I drove from Lansing to get tattooed by Austin and it was definitely worth the trip. Everyone who worked there were very friendly and professional. It was also one of the cleanest tattoo shops I have ever been in. Austin is extremely talented and I am in love with how my tattoo turned out. I had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back for more. I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

Michael was a great choice for my first tattoo. He asked questions thoroughly to make sure he understood what I wanted, as well as offered suggestions. I have no complaints over my experience and will definitely return to him when I decide what I want to do next. In addition, Studio 13 was very clean and organized looking which made me feel safe about their overall attention to cleanliness. Everything was opened in front of me. All of their employees were friendly. read more

I've gotten two tattoos done by Kay Allday in the past month, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience. Everyone who works there is friendly and professional. When you walk in, you're greeted immediately, and they take the time to answer your questions and explain the process to you. When I came back the second time, they remembered my name, who did my tattoo last time and what I got - which was really amazing and made me feel valued as a customer (and person). Even though I'm moving to Chicago, I'll definitely be back to Studio 13 in the future for more tattoos. It's absolutely worth it to me given how awesome this place is. read more

I had my first tattoo done by Mike Mankin, and I was completely blown away at how professional and courteous Mike and the rest of the staff were. Since this was my first tattoo I wanted it to look especially sharp and worthy of the "wow" factor. I was happier to pay extra (and it's not cheap by any means) to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and one that looks like it was done by a true professional. Mike delivered on that requirement, and really took care of me since it was my first one, and I could not be happier with the result. This was done last August, and I'm getting ready to reschedule with my next Tattoo in May. read more

I have always been extremely impressed with Studio 13. They are definitely top notch! The feel of the studio is light, bright and airy making me feel very welcome. The environment is spotless!! So clean and sterile! The staff is extremely professional and extremely talented! My son has gotten 2 tattoos here and he wont go anywhere else. The first time I came in to make my appointment I told Jake what I wanted and why. We talked over a few options. When I came back today for my appointment they nailed It! Nothing waa lost in translation. He listened to every detail and ensured my tat was exactly as I had imagined! Ronnie James was my artist. He did an amazing job! He is so talented and personable. I went to my first full day session 3 weeks ago with logan b. Every single person in the shop was friendly and extremely professional. The shop was extremely clean as well! 100% recommend!! read more

I had my little bee done here a couple weeks ago by Mike, and it turned out beautifully. I had to do a phone consultation because of where i am located and they were very accommodating and thorough during the consultation. When i arrived Mike had a sketch drawn up for me, we looked at it together and he tweaked a few things for me. He also was great about explaining why/how things were detailed so they wouldn't become muddy or faded with age. I had a great experience and will definitely be back! read more

I've been going to Studio 13 since my first tattoo at 18. 7 tattoos and 8 years later, they are still the only shop I trust to go above and beyond to be safe, sterile, and professional. And of course, they have some of the most talented artists in the industry. Shop owners Jake and Jes will make sure you get taken care of! read more

I couldn't imagine getting a tattoo here. My husband and I walked in and right away the guy treated us attitude and talked down to us. They were also incredibly overpriced. We took our business elsewhere for half the price with a tattoo artist that had a better attitude and did a phenomenal job. Found out the guy who quotes at Studio 13 was the owner. A tip to you sir, if you don't want people's business, then just say it. If the owner of a business doesn't care, what does that say about the business? It's not worth going to. There are many tattoo shops in the Fort Wayne area who would be more than happy to take the clients. read more

Way back in 2007, I got my very first tattoo at studio 13. As a tattoo virgin at the time, I had no idea what to expect. The guys at the shop immediately made me feel at ease. The shop was immaculate, well designed, and I would have been comfortable working with any artist. Definitely an awesome first tatt experience. And 7 years later, my piece still looks great. The owners of the shop, brothers Jake and Jes Farris, are standup down to earth dudes. Whether it's your first or 50th, a trip to Studio 13 in Fort Wayne is worth the drive! read more

The most professional & friendly studio I have ever been to! Every artist is beyond talented and every piece of work they've done is beautiful. We visited this location on 06/18. We had several family members in town from various locations around the US to complete a color run for our Non Profit that was started in the name of our 21 year old who committed suicide. We wanted to get a family tattoo while we were all together. We called ahead and were told no minimum and to stop by. We drove an hour to get to Ft Wayne and then were told $100 minimum regardless of size. Considering there were 5 of us and they were various sizes, from smaller than a dime to as large as a baseball, $500 is way too much. $100 for any one of those, was way too much. My tattoo artist is one of the best in the Country in Scottsdale, AZ at Wisemagic and his minimum is $50. And when it comes to a Non-Profit, he would have done them for free or a donation and accommodated 5 people together. There are many options out there, make sure you call ahead and read the reviews. I never asked for a free tattoo from your studio. I stated that my tattoo artist would have done this. The problem is that out of the 5 people, I am the only one that lives in Arizona. My complaint was that we were told no minimum when we called. Yet we drove an hour and then were told $100 minimum. This information would have been helpful on the phone prior to driving. Not to mention this studio is in the ghetto. Sorry if that's all you got out of my original post. I feel like you're grasping at straws and not reading the review to better your business. We were there on 06/18. We called ahead and told the guy exactly what we wanted. When we arrived the guy at the desk (tall, plugs in his ears) had the ribbons drawn up and sitting there. Yes, we were there. We had gone to the mall prior to get Starbucks. We pulled out of the mall and went left. It was down a couple lights on the right. In a strip mall, at the end. It's a small, narrow place. Smelled very clean and we were excited about that. I am not familiar with the Ft Wayne area, but the whole area including the mall was ghetto to me. There was an Asian couple sitting to the left when we walked in. There was a tattoo artist in the first table cleaning his area getting ready to take them back. I don't understand why you can't just accept the fact that it was a bad experience for us. Learn from this and move forward. That's all this site is about. read more

Over priced & they don't listen to what you want. Certainly don't give them any money for a deposit. They have a 96 hour rescheduling policy... 96 HOURS! Hopefully your grandma doesn't die or you'll have to decide to either lose your money or miss the funeral. read more
