This shop was recommended to me. I got a small tattoo and it started fading after 4 days, then completely DISAPPEARED after 7 days. That SHOULD NOT happen, and I am completely dissatisfied for the lack of trying to make it right, since I traveled 300 miles to get this done. I would not recommend. read more

Don't come here if you're gonna want a touch up. I got a tattoo done here, when it came time to get a touch up (with in the 1 year free touch up guarantee) I found out the artist doesn't work at Truth ink, or any tattoo shop. So I'm told only the owner can do it. I'm fine with that. But the owner is booked for the next 4 months. My 1 year would be up by then, so they said too bad, pay the shop minimum of $60 to get an area about half the size of a dime filled in where the color faded. I'll take my money elsewhere and you should too. read more

We went to truth ink, and Med, the younger of the brothers who work there was so enthusiastic about my idea that I left feeling elated, and grateful to give a deposit for my appointment! The version he drew up for me not only included the quote "make every second count" that studio 13 told me should be omitted from the design because it wouldn't fit, but also included other 3d elements I didn't even think of that made the whole thing pop! They admitted the color scheme I wanted wouldn't work, but more experienced with my color they knew how to give me the light look I wanted, instead of the chunky heavy look the other studio had drawn up. Getting my tattoo obviously hurt, it goes from above and over my elbow to my wrist bone all along my ulna (outer arm bone), but the five hours was well worth it! I tipped the guy $100 because not only were their prices fair, it was $2-300 less than what the guy quoted me at studio 13, AND I got what I wanted. Being genuine and humble goes a long way in life, and when it comes to a customers body and ideas you need to be careful saying "no" and spend more time trying to work with them. I don't want some snob making me feel like my options are limited because of my skin color or tiny size. Truth Ink not only made my skin bloom, but they made me feel accepted, understood, and comfortable. Getting a tattoo is a serious process and having an artist as excited to put it on you as you are to get it is irreplaceable, and now rewarded with my continuing business. Went here to get a piercing redone, I had it done at a different shop before b it was not done well, and I wanted to try again. I was in and out quick, with phenomenal service from the piercer. I Have called back with a few questions since then, and have always been greeted and had my questions answered respectfully. Will definitely be returning for my future piercing or tattoo needs. read more

Met my friend while he was getting a tattoo on his chest. The artist killed his tattoo and it looked great! So I decided since the guy had time after my buddies to ask if he could do a touch up on my foot and also give me a small tattoo on my wrist that was just four letters but had great sentimental value. After my friends tattoo was finished he started on my wrist which initially looked okay i just chalked up the roughness as it being fresh and initially my foot touch up looked alright. By the next day my wrist tattoo didn't look as well as i expected but again chalked it up to it healing and my foot was still alright. Two weeks later and I'm still not happy with my wrist and my foot looks no different than it did prior to the touch up. For the two cost 100$ when i had 4 small letters on my wrist and a touch up of a clover sizing about 1 inch by 1 inch touch uped. Prices weren't very competitive the receptionist was very nice the manager guy was nice enough but their new artist who claimed to have lots of experience may have exaggerated. He was very inconsistent and i will never go back or recommend them. One of their artists is known to be pretty good but this new guy just isn't that good. How can you do one massive color tattoo that looks great then immediately after not even be able to write four letters straight without crooked lines in the lettering. Only way i would go back is if the manager did the touch ups himself and waived the fees for the tattoo because I expect a professional shop to have artist that can do simple tattoos well and that are consistent with their work. read more

The artist I was using moved and a piece on my leg that had already been paid for wasn't finished. I contacted Truth and was told they would get back to me and finally after 3 attempts I get a response on April 19th telling me Brandon the owner would finish the small amount of work left but he was extremely busy and could not do it until June 8th. I accepted the appointment. The day before the appt Truth called and said he needed to reschedule. The appt was now another week away. I wait the additional week and show up at 5pm as instructed and he wasn't even there! The staff text him and he says he has his kids and I need to reschedule! At this point his shop has 1 customer and there are artists standing around. They are practically giving tattoo's away on social media due to lack of business yet ive been pushed aside since early April. They did not even have the common courtesy to call or text me that i was being bumped again! Bottom line he could care less about customer service or customer satisfaction because he already had my money. I will not give this shop another dime and neither should you. Shout out to Grade A Tattoo's who I had to PAY to finish Truths work they did a great job and were very professional. read more

Zack (Zach?) Miller seriously impressed me. I am very picky when it comes to tattoos, and Zack was more than accommodating. He redrew and replaced my design multiple times without complaining or making me feel bad. He was also excited about the concept, which is always a huge relief to know that you and your artist are on the same page. I'm super grateful for his patience and his light hand! My 18 year old daughter went here to get a tattoo in memory of her grandma with the death date in Roman numerals. My daughter didn't have the Roman numerals wrote down so she told the receptionist the date and they said they would look it up for her. After my daughter received her tattoo we started looking at it and realizing that it didn't look right they had actually tattooed the wrong date on her. As her mother I was really upset because now my 18 year old daughter has a pretty big tattoo on her arm where every one can see and it's the wrong date. It was supposed to be 06/18/2013 and they tattooed 20/17/2012 how do you mess up that bad. I understand that most people don't know Roman numerals but why would you tattoo it permanently on someone's skin if you didn't double check that you had it right. I called them and I was told they tattooed the date that she gave them and they don't offer refunds so there was nothing they could do. They then called my daughter and I guess they admitted to there being a mistake or mix up somewhere between my daughter giving the receptionist the date and watching her write it on a piece of paper and the artist drawing the stencil and they offered to try and fix it by covering it up or offered laser removal and said they would pay for it then they could put the right date. First of all why would we want the people who can't even tattoo the correct thing fix it and how can someone pay hundreds to cover laser removal but they can't issue a refund. After they had told her this I called them back and spoke with the artist manager and he pretty much said it was my daughters fault because she didn't know if the numbers were right on the stencil I am sorry but she is a kid she just turned 18 and like most kids are very neiva and trusted that they were professional and double checked there work. They told her they would get the Roman numerals if they didn't know them or weren't comfortable looking them up then they should have said that not just tattoo it on someone's skin. All I wanted was a refund so I could take my daughter somewhere else to get the mistake they made fixed. This doesn't seem like how a reputable place should handle things. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I understand that mistakes happen but this was a permanent mistake and they won't even refund her the 200 that she paid for it. read more
