The tattoo is of a Mayan Temple with the Mayan calendar!

amazing place and I loved the store. the staff there were friendly and very accommodating. The vibe was good. I was very happy with my tattoo and it healed very nicely. I will definitely be coming back for my next tattoos.

I love the tattoo that Peter Mann did for me. He was very professional and went over his drawing of my tattoo, we made a few edits and it looks great!

We went to truth ink, and Med, the younger of the brothers who work there was so enthusiastic about my idea that I left feeling elated, and grateful to give a deposit for my appointment! The version he drew up for me not only included the quote "make every second count" that studio 13 told me should be omitted from the design because it wouldn't fit, but also included other 3d elements I didn't even think of that made the whole thing pop! They admitted the color scheme I wanted wouldn't work, but more experienced with my color they knew how to give me the light look I wanted, instead of the chunky heavy look the other studio had drawn up. Getting my tattoo obviously hurt, it goes from above and over my elbow to my wrist bone all along my ulna (outer arm bone), but the five hours was well worth it! I tipped the guy $100 because not only were their prices fair, it was $2-300 less than what the guy quoted me at studio 13, AND I got what I wanted. Being genuine and humble goes a long way in life, and when it comes to a customers body and ideas you need to be careful saying "no" and spend more time trying to work with them. I don't want some snob making me feel like my options are limited because of my skin color or tiny size. Truth Ink not only made my skin bloom, but they made me feel accepted, understood, and comfortable. Getting a tattoo is a serious process and having an artist as excited to put it on you as you are to get it is irreplaceable, and now rewarded with my continuing business. I will add a pic when the swelling goes down tomorrow :)

It's been some time since I went here, but, the shop was amazing! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the shop was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. I can not recommend Parker Hollie enough. He took my idea and put his own touches on it to create the best tattoo I could have received. Check this place out!

I called about 5 minutes before my arrival to see if they were able to remove a piercing. They said to come in any time. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the nice piecing artist. He showed me back to the extremely clean and pristine room. It took about 5 minutes for him to remove the piecing and I was only charged a small fee. He seemed to be very experienced and it was painless. I would recommend this place!

Well my son broke his, when I tried to exchange it the young lady started raising hear voice and telling me I'd have to come back another day because her boss was getting her nails done and she was the only one who could take care of this for me because she had to enter the new Merchandise into the system. The piercing is free with the purchase of earrings, but be prepared that most of their "piercing" earrings are 10k or 14k. You can average about $50 here. Yes, that's high. However, Caitlyn (sorry if I've misspelled her name) was very patient with me, a nervous mom who was catering to a 5 year old. She explained the types of earrings, made suggestions, was forthcoming about the procedure and answered any questions I had. She also took her time lining up the holes to be just right--a true perfectionist that allowed me to make changes without hesitation. I am grateful that she and the other girl were able to pierce both ears at the same time--a heavy dose of hurt at once for a 5yo, but a quicker procedure that resulted in NO TEARS. I feel confident that the higher price that I paid was for the patience and professionalism that we received. This was exactly what I wanted for a first-time piercing for my daughter.

I got tattooed twice at the Grade A on N. Clinton (the location outside of and away from the mall)…read more Dustin did my first tattoo and Corey did my second. I had absolutely no issue with the shop atmosphere, my tattoo experiences, or the artists themselves! My only advice is to actually shop around to gauge prices. I am a pretty timid person, so at my own fault I believe I overpaid for my two tattoos. My first tattoo was lightning strikes across the front side of my forearm, with a bolt leading down the back of my hand to my pointer finger. I had 3 words tattooed on my wrist to go with it. This tattoo was scheduled ahead of time and took maybe a total of 2 or 3 hours. I walked in for my second tattoo a year later; it was a 4x2 inch tree on my bicep. Both tattoos were black ink, solid with no color and no shading detail (aside from the trunk of the tree having slight shading). I paid $500 for each. Like I said, I didn't price check, so my own gullibility is what got me. I assumed $300-500 was reasonable for the first tattoo, considering the size and time/artist rate, and I got that price quoted by Nate at reception, who then told Dustin the price he quoted. Alternatively, Corey directly quoted me $500 for the second tattoo. This tattoo took maybe 45-60 mins, with the prep time included. I did tip outside of these amounts as well. I'm not sure if I was simply taken advantage of (I had verbally expressed that the first one was my first tattoo) or if I walked right into it and set myself up (or both ), but it's in the past. I'm super happy with how my tattoos came out, and while I might have paid more than I needed to, the team there is super chill and great at their art, from what I could tell. I recommend you know how to bargain and know the appropriate price ranges in your area for the type of work you're looking to get done!!
