We were fortunate enough to have Larry King and his Orchestra for the second time and we thrilled we did- we had a blast, our guests had a blast, my 97 year old aunt was in her wheel chair on the dance floor! One of our guests said it was as if they knew who was going to be invited to your party- the playlist was perfect! If you want GREAT music, a fun time, a wonderful memory, and don't want to worry about it another minute- sign up with Larry King Orchestra( if he has any free dates available) you won't be disappointed!

Look no further, this is your band…read more My wife and I were married in June of 2018. Music from the John Paris Band was a highlight. There are a couple key characteristics which set them apart from other bands we were considering. First and foremost was our relationship with John Paris himself. He received our initial contact about 7 months prior to our wedding, he answered each of our calls, emails, and texts in a timely fashion, he is easy to work with, and he made us feel that we were his top priority. Some points I will address later include the band's amazing flexibility, ability to draw everyone to the dance floor, and keen sense of our vision, despite having a list of just 15-20 preferred songs. The John Paris band is its own independent band, as opposed to a larger music organization. In such larger organizations, we recognized a lack of personal touch and quality, despite oftentimes being more expensive. When you interact with the John Paris band, you are speaking directly with John Paris. He manages his own team and it shows in the quality of his music. I felt the John Paris Band provided *exceptional* value. We wholeheartedly enjoyed 8 musicians, including John Paris, who tore it up, and set the dance floor ablaze. They were with us from cocktail hour, through dinner and dancing. We were considering options that were as much as twice as expensive as the John Paris Band - you simply can't beat the quality for the investment in your wedding. Looking back on it, I would have been willing to pay more for such outstanding music and quality of service. Each special request we had for John was executed just as I wanted. He is a great listener, he is very articulate and organized. The band travelled up to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to perform for us without any hesitation. I also played acoustic guitar as part of a 10 minute set during the band's intermission. The band kept this a complete surprise to my wife and family, which was my intention. We even worked through a special request to allow my sister to sing a song with the band. They knocked it out of the park. I did not know certain members of my family even had the ability to dance. The dance floor was on fire all night. The John Paris Band has a special ability to light up the room and make everyone have a great time. One thing my wife and I appreciated most was their ability to take a short list of recommended songs (15-20 songs) and round it out with similar and complementary sounds. They played such a great variety which resulted in something for everyone to enjoy. One final small note is how much the band themselves enjoyed the music and the wedding. They were present with us from cocktail hour, through dinner, through dancing. Even during their final intermission, their lead singer took part in a shuffle as part of just 10 minutes of digital sound. Even during their breaks, nobody left the dance floor. In closing, I could not recommend the John Paris Band highly enough. I care deeply about music, I wanted it to be a highlight of my wedding, and it surpassed my every expectation. John Paris was very responsive, easy to work with, very flexible around our requests, and provided an experience that my wife, family, and I will always cherish. Look no further, you have found your band.

We think this personal touch had to do with the fact that JPB is an independent band rather than an anonymous corporate group. We liked that the band has been playing together for years rather than corporate bands where the musicians are thrown together for each event. As to the wedding reception itself, you would not believe the number of compliments we got on their performance that evening. They were definitely one of the highlights of the night. The band really brought the energy and got everyone up and having fun on the dance floor. We can't recommend JPB enough!

A Great Wedding Band…read more Wedding Date 2.1.25 As Father of the Bride, I thought that DSR Music was the best and that the music helps make the wedding reception a great and memorable one. The band members and vocalists are so talented and energetic in all genres of music making each song fun to dance to. The dance floor was packed all night and we received complements for weeks about the quality of the band and how much fun the wedding was. David Rothstein does a great job as the MC for the night but the benefits of using DSR start long before the wedding day. David takes the time to get to know the wedding couple and their family, understand what is important to them at the wedding, learn the type of music they are interested in hearing and provides special touches for the bride and groom. I think so highly of DSR Music that I used them for my oldest daughter's wedding in 2016 and my niece used them as well.

During dinner, our close musician friends got on stage and performed it. During the song, my heart just melted and I began to cry. It was the most beautiful gift any man could give a woman. The lyrics described the special moments in our relationship which made it all the more special. The chorus reflected words that my husband and I say to each other. Our family members raved about how amazing the performance was, and also how it was the highlight of our wedding. After the wedding, I wondered how my husband came up with something so creative. I later found out that he contacted Dave to help him carry out his idea. Dave was able to write and create a song based on the information that my husband gave him. The whole idea was absolutely incredible, and I would recommend "Song as a Gift" to any couple for any occasion. Respectfully, Joanne Jonna
