Bottom line: Call this guy. He will not disappoint. I would give him an A+++ in all categories if this rating was available on Angie's list. Stuart HVAC will be my go-to company from now on. And I have worked with many A/C service providers over the past 21 years. Stuart knows his stuff.  He is honest.  He is reasonable.  He is conscientious. And he knocks himself out service-wise. He is respectful and treats you the way you want to be treated. This is what Angie's List is all about - we all want to find people like him. My previous experience with A/C companies: I have had several providers who have either 1) over-charged me; 2)  totally messed up my systems; or 3) led me on to believe that my units would break down unless I spend mega-$ in parts. (I have always declined those quotes and my units have worked just fine.) Stuart far surpassed my expectations. He was more thorough than the other companies, and very honest in his evaluation. I fully expected him to tell me I needed a complete new system (one of them is at least 17 years old), so was surprised when he said all it needed was a new contactor. Throughout he was very polite and answered all my questions. He even called ahead to tell me he was running late because of the rain earlier that day, and asked if I was okay with that.  He then gave me a new time window, and showed up 15 minutes early. I had my ac replaced by another company and there was a leak in my evaporator. They were going to charge me $99 just to come out an $99 an hour after that while parts was still under warranty. I called Stuart hvac and they came out and took the evaporator to the manufacture and brought back a new one. They only charged me for the labor. My system uses the new freon and Stuart had to recharge my unit which took 10 lbs of freon and he only charged me for 1/2 of that because he said I was a new customer and he would very much like to keep me as a customer for any future hvac service I may need. I was very pleased with the service Stuart hvac provided. They are honest, professional and clean. Most contractors leave a mess and don't bother cleaning up, Stuart stayed late just to vacuum my carpet below the attic access, I told him not to worry about it but he insisted on allowing him to clean up (which i think it was cleaner when he left than it was when he arrived) read more

Wash condenser coils, check ERP coils, blew-out condensate drain line, and tighten all electrical connections, assembly, and checked blower motor oil all motors as required.  Checked compressor contactor-start up, check operations amp draw of compressor check refrigerant charge.  He only showed that by evaporator coils needed clean.  I was also inform that I needed more insulation blown into my attic. I receive the appraisal for my attic the next day, I have received several other appraisals for this job and Stuart HVAC is the second lowest cost given.   But due to the great service I received the first time  I will be having my work done by Stuart HVAC. It is hard to find good service I would recommend them to anyone that needs to have service done on there A/C. read more

Checked the outside A/C unit, replaced a burned out part we weren't aware of, changed filters, did an overall check of the A/C system. Also had him check the heating system as well. He was late in arriving but notified us of the delay in advance.  He was very courteous, professional and experienced.  He actually didn't service our area (we're kind of far northeast of the metroplex) but he honored the Angie's list special anyway which was very nice.  We were very pleased with his work and would definitely use him again. read more

Stuart is the man! Called a ton of companies to fix the hack job duct work in my new home, and nobody was as easy to work with or as affordable as Stuart. Called him and he came out same day to evaluate, communicated with me every step of the way, and got the job done. I had some expensive ideas and Stuart had much more cost effective ideas of his own. Did HVAC inspection on three units.   Repaired one unit to get it started.   Replaced on unit.  Tune up one unit. Stuart is very knowledge about HVAC units and tries to repair versus replacement.  Extraordinary customer relations. Also scheduled adding new insulation.  His work is reliable.   We had a few hiccups on the timeline of getting replacement unit installed due to call load.
