Dr. Lamoureux did a very brief visual check standing several feet away from me. The brown laser treatment did nothing. I paid a lot of money for this and am extremely unhappy with the outcome. In addition, I saw another dermatologist today who told me I was not the first person to be unhappy with Skindermatology. Do NOT recommended this practice.

Luckily for me it was not a terrible experience. My first impression when I walked in the door was that the place was very casual. I've never seen a dermatologist before, so maybe this is just how they are. There were 3 ladies sitting at reception. I checked in and sat down, and they chatted openly about non-work stuff for the entire 20 minutes that I sat waiting to be called in (I was on time, btw), only pausing to check in the occasional patient. When I was called in I looked up and didn't know who actually called me, because the woman was dressed in street clothes. The tablet is all that gave her away. I went to an examination room, she asked me a series of questions, and then I waited for the dermatologist. I could hear loads of employees chatting outside the door, laughing, having a great during my entire wait. Again, casual but I guess it's good they are enjoying being at work(?). Luckily I did not get Dr. Dan Viders (since his reviews on Yelp seem terrible). I saw a woman named Nicole Willis. She was very sweet, down to earth, and personable and was able to address my two skin concerns pretty quickly. She also was sympathetic to a concern that my doctor glazed over, and acted accordingly. When I walked out I felt happy that I had stuck around to complete my visit. Thanks Nicole :)

She received a reminder about the appointment a few days prior. When she arrived at the office, it was closed for the holiday. The foolish response from the front desk was that a third party sends the reminders. What she neglected to recall is that the front desk makes the appointments. Today, my sons went for appointments. One son just had a minor surgery a month ago and made the follow-up appointment. When they arrived, they said that they didn't have a record for either of them AND that they didn't have their appointments in their system. They looked a bit more and realized that they had their files and their appointments on their old system which they started using last August. They would not be seen today. AGAIN, what they're neglecting to realize is that they made the mistake because the appointments were made in December, after they moved to the new system. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

From my first consultation, throughout two cataract surgeries and subsequent follow-up appointments, I found Dr Keamy and her entire staff to be informative and supportive. Prior to my first surgery, Dr. Keamy explained in "layman's terms" exactly what the surgery would entail. On the day of surgery I was extremely nervous, however, Dr Keamy put me at ease and the experience was far less stressful than I had anticipated. Not only is Dr. Keamy a skilled surgeon, she is also passionate about what she does. My vision is far better than I expected and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. With absolute certainty I would recommend Dr. Keamy for any type of eye procedure especially cataract surgery. I am an eye doctor in New Jersey and was trying to help a patient of mine who was working and living in Massachusetts He had a severe conjunctivitis in one eye and I thought it would be prudent to have him checked locally. I called Dr Keamy's office and this staff member decided to make up a diagnosis herself over the phone (she would not listen to me or get the facts) refused to continue with making the appointment for my patient. She put the patient at risk for potential loss of sight. When I tried to talk to her she would yell and then hang up the phone. The Patient ended up going to Reliant Medical Group and was treated immediately and appropriately for conjunctivitis.. Dr Keamy would be wise to fire this staff member immediately and I don't recommend anybody go to that office until she does.. Dr Mike from New Jersey
