If I were to rate the items in this store, it would get 5 stars. Super adorable clothing and jewelry. However, the customer service here is terrible. I bought this amazing jumpsuit today from Rails. The price tags stated it was 188$. After purchasing the jumpsuit and signing the receipt (I realize my bad for not noticing at the store) I noticed I ended up paying 250$. When I went back to the store and explained that the price tag indicated a lower price than I paid, the sales clerk basically said not my problem and I won't honor the tag or "I'll get fired". I looked at another jumpsuit in the store that was identical and the price tag was also 188$. I think that the store should honor what they put on a price tag and not mislead customers. Very lame and will never be back. read more

Great customer service that goes above and beyond! Annie and Bella have been such a joy to work with. I'm a professional wardrobe stylist and shop for clients for a living. I scope out boutiques for my clients' style and set aside clothes for them (usually the day before our shopping appointment or earlier in the same day), so that all they have to do when they come into the boutique is try on clothes and buy them. This is a win-win all around: I bring the boutiques qualified customers who are ready to buy, and hand select items so they are much more likely to buy more pieces than a random person wandering in off the street. My clients save time browsing through the boutiques and getting decision fatigue and walking out, and are so grateful to have clothes set aside specifically for them, that they are likely to purchase at least 50% of the pieces I recommend. From the moment I walked in and introduced myself to her and explained my process, Annie was more than willing to let me set aside pieces for my client, and even offered to send me new styles via text as they come into the store. The pre-shopping process was seamless and I felt super supported. The shopping trip with my client the next day was just as awesome- Bella took great care of my client and was super helpful. I've brought another client into the store since, and plan to continue my collaborative relationship with Strut, as they have beautiful merchandise, provide an excellent customer experience, and understand the value of collaboration. read more

I happened upon this place while browsing in the neighborhood for the first time. Was I surprised! Never thought Denver could support a store carrying Chie Mihara and Coclico. I believe I also saw Biviel. I really wanted to buy something, but their selection is on the the small side. This is the place to go for beautiful, well-made shoes that make you look twice. read more

Strut Shoes is a wonderful, eclectic little shoestore in Highlands focusing on European brand shoes, handbags and accessories. They truly have beautiful shoes here, admittedly at a higher price point than many of us are used to paying for shoes. (But I must say that when I can afford to buy more expensive shoes, I always find they are more comfortable plus they have beautiful leathers and designs that make them worth the extra dough.) Strut improved it's offering by combining with Dragonfly, a wonderful women's clothing and accessories store - together you could drop quite a load, and get some wonderful items as well. If nothing else, it's worth it to check out the sale racks - always some great bargins. A wonderful addition to the Shops at Highlands Square! read more

I LOVE this store! After moving here from NYC it is so great to find a store who has "city style" shoes. And the owner did not have a "city style" attitude. She was nice and helpful and guided me find the shoe that was right for me. 3 people have stopped me this month to ask me where I got my shoes. This store is adorable and the owner is very nice and helpful. I wandered into it when my mom and I were shopping together. My mother ended up buying a cute purse and I found a pair of amazing Italian leather boots. They didn't have them in my size, but the owner got my number and ordered them for me. The prices are pretty high, but if you want really well-made leather shoes and purses, this place is amazing. read more

And with a price tag of almost $500 I expect the shoe to fit like Cindarella. Needless to say the shoes are way over-priced and the owner just wants the sale, no regard for the customer. I haven't had a problem with rude or snotty staff as stated in the previous reviews. I like to shop local so I went in the other day just to pick up a pair of Stance socks rather than buying them online. I paid $16 for them only to peel off the sticker to reveal a $12 MSRP, that had a lame attempt of blacking out that number with a Sharpie. Then, I checked online on Stance's website, and lo and behold, they are only $12. Other Stance socks are in the $16 price range so I wasn't tipped off, but I feel pretty ripped off knowing they just jacked up the price $4 for the hell of it. Not sure what other products they are adding dollars on to, but it was a huge turn off. Glad I was only taken for about $17 - I would have been pissed if I had spent hundreds and found out they had increased the MSRP just for the heck of it. read more

Very Disappointing My friend and I shopped at Strut this weekend and spent several hundred dollars on necklaces, wallets and other jewelry. I left the shop, put on the new necklace and 2 hours later noticed that the pendant had fallen off the chain and was nowhere to be found. I called Strut immediately and explained what had happened. The woman told me to come in tomorrow and they would take care of it. I went back the next day and they told me there was nothing they would do for me, sorry - "The sale was final" and "I suggest you look for the designers jewelry on line and purchase a new necklace." Why would I want to buy another piece of poorly made jewelry? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. To tell me come back to their store and when I arrive tell me there is NOTHING they can do for me? I will NEVER be back and I recommend you don't purchase their poorly made merchandise. read more

I've mainly shopped at this place for the products offered, not the service. The owner, as others stated is rude and snotty. Yesterday I reached my tipping point and will NEVER shop here again. I was disheartened by their customer service I bought a pair of shoes for $100 (after also purchasing a $400 bag, and another $200 pair of shoes) that gave me bad blisters on my heels. Thinking the owner would be customer focused and situated where it was more important that I come back and stay loyal to her store, as oppose to her losing $100, I asked to return them or at the very least get a store credit, she refused and actually even stated she knew I would probably never come back - WHAT??!! the takeaway, be sure if you buy something here that you absolutely love it, because there is no way you can rely on a customer centric experience or the ability to return it if you change your mind or anything goes wrong. 2.
