Service is wonderful and if you have the time to sit in and have a meal, do try to. It's very small, very casual and feels like having the best lunch you ever had at your aunties house. As mentioned it's rarely quiet in there so take out is best overall. I recommend calling ahead for sliced deli meats or things like that as they really appreciate that. If you ever see the cherry cobbler in the fridge do not skip it - you'll regret that. Here's the inside tip - there is not a better Caesar salad with chicken this side of the Mississippi. Joan called me back right away as she had a cancellation on the date we wanted. That was pure luck and the rest is history. Joan, her family and staff at Franklin Caterers were awesome to deal with. She made great suggestions for renting the tent and tables, took care of all the menu details as well as linens, and provided the perfect advice for setting up the bar and provided a bartender.
