This is a case of taking advantage of the dental insurance coverage a little too far, and when they start charging it out of your pocket, I would not recommend.

I went to Altitude Dental for a teeth cleaning six months ago because I had a Groupon. My regular dentist is outstanding, but I wanted to give Altitude a try because they are very close to my home and the deal was a good one. What I found was absolutely excellent care. I've been going to my dentist for 20 years, I love my dentist. But I got this coupon for a teeth cleaning at Altitude and thought what the heck, I'll try it. First, the actual dentist cleaned my teeth, not a hygienist or other assistant. The cleaning was very thorough and straightforward. The dentist noticed a chipped tooth in the back of my mouth, which has been there for years. Other dentists have noticed it, but they always say "you have a chipped tooth back there" but never do anything about it. Dr. Marcus, on the other hand, offered to polish it and smooth it out, and took great care to sand the jagged ridges down. It was quick and painless and made such an enormous difference, it's hard to believe I lived with it in disrepair for so long. The best thing: she didn't charge me! I'm not saying Altitude Dental is going to give you free work. But what I am saying is that Dr. Marcus and her staff obviously care deeply about their work and it is very clear that going the extra mile for these people is just par for the course. Long story short, Altitude Dental is my new dentist. Excellent dental work, and excellent business sense. Hard to find these days. I'm very happy I went.
