Kay in the office is great about helping work out payment plans if you can't afford everything at the time of the service, and Patty does an exceptional job with cleanings.

Either take everything THEY want you to have, or go find another dentist. My wife has very high levels of anxiety around dentists, so when our previous dentist of 10 years retired, it was a difficult time for her. I went first, and explained it to the staff and arranged for a simple 1 hour first visit. When she got there, they insisted I had told them she wanted a 2 hour visit using nitrous oxide. My wife called me, and I needed to clear it up on the phone because they wouldn't listen to her in the office. When I went in for a simple 1 hour cleaning, they insisted they wanted to do a whitening process that would take 2 hours. When I refused that service, they sent me a letter refusing any further service. All I heard was very nice words, but in this case, actions speak louder.

I've been an anxious patient of Dr. Jarrett's for several years. I'd like to tell you about my most…read morerecent visit. I'll preface this by saying that my anxiety around dental procedures seems to be getting worse, not better, but thanks to Dr. Jarrett and his staff, I continue to get treatment. I was really anxious about my recent crown appointment and multiple things kept getting in the way, causing met to reschedule, which only added to the anxiety. Thankfully, Dr. Jarrett's office offers nitrous (for a small-ish fee). What I sincerely appreciate about his staff is that they don't judge when they know you need the nitrous to get through your appointment. I've never felt pressured NOT to get it. In fact, one of the staff members noticed that I didn't have it on there for my 2 week follow up, asked me about it, and promptly added it on. Anywho, the day comes, and I'm laying back in the chair, waiting, for the "party" to get started. Dr. Jarrett comes in, we catch up, he explains what's going to happen today and why he's placing the crown. Anxiety is, of course, building, I'm starting to sweat, and I just really don't want to be there, but this cracked tooth ain't gonna heal itself. Randomly, I'm just trying to think of anything that will make this better and I overhear the office music that's playing. I asked if any other patients were in the office at the time (I always book a late appointment), they say yes, one other, and I wonder out loud if we can turn the music up. Dr. Jarrett was like, "absolutely. We can turn it up on this side of the office." I don't know where this staff member came from, but almost immediately a voice asks if there's anything specific I want to listen to. At first, I was like, "No, I'm good." And then immediately followed up with, "Wait! Is Prince an option?" Ya'll when I tell you the relief that washed over me when they were all like, "We got you!" I can't even articulate. "1999" starts playing, the energy of the staff increases even though they're already SUPER friendly and I relax just a bit more. That is, until it's time for the needle... I had to ask for a break 3 or 4 times during the procedure, and each time Dr. Jarrett was immediately responsive, patient, and reassuring. He let me know where we were at each point in the procedure and let me know that I was doing great. I really have no justification for my anxiety as I've never had a truly bad experience, but my fear of dental pain is top notch. Dr. Jarrett and his team are so thoughtful, kind, patient, and accommodating that I know my family and I will be patients for years to come.

He is professional, pleasant and does excellent work, even providing orthodontia services. Dr. Boyett believed in continuing education and stays on top of current best practice. Traci, the front office manager, is pleasant as well as adept in answering insurance questions and providing superior customer service. Loni, Dr. Boyett's longtime hygienist, is professional and very skilled in what she does, providing detailed guidance and answering questions pleasantly and with competence. Leticia and Ali are the two other dental assistants in the office and they are equally professional and gracious, making each patient feel welcome and confident because of their competent work. My husband and I love our new dental office and are happy to support this local business which gives back to the community, the environment and their patients. Twice Dr. Boyett and his team came in off-hours to address my dental concerns and I was nothing less than grateful and impressed. Way to go, Boyett DDS Team!

I was honestly nervous walking in. Dr. Boyette was incredibly kind, non-judgmental, and thorough. He took the time to explain everything and helped put together a pretty intense but well-thought-out treatment plan that made me feel hopeful instead of overwhelmed. It took many visits, but every single one was handled with professionalism, patience, and care. The staff is excellent -- friendly, supportive, and always made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Thanks to all of them, I can finally smile again, and that means more to me than I can put into words. I'm truly grateful and would highly recommend this office to anyone, especially if you've been putting off dental care like I did.

However, the transition period last fall was not optimal as it coincided with cracked fillings (originating from another dentist) and a chipped, then broken crown (darn choc chip cookies, cocoa nibs, artisan bread) that needed attention. Really I drank a dairy farm in my youth and I don't eat rocks for breakfast...teeth don't just break! Those were anxious times of no timely dental cleanings, rotating dentists and hygienists from agencies. Even waited in the parking lot with this motley crew. My replacement crown also went missing...guess it was totally done with the I-5 commute. That hot black market illicit cartel of custom made crowns or some squirrel wearing a tiara crown (pun intended). Yes, it was becoming that ludicrous. You have to laugh or break down and cry in frustration. Props go to *Kate* for holding the dental practice together where she even followed up with patients with her own cell phone. She was the main reason to stick it out, especially after yet another mortifying recent dental mishap breaking a front left crown (grapes)! All Family Shoreline Dental is now overseen by Drs. Sammy B.D. Pak and Negin Nazarian. No more revolving door of dental temporaries. I warily saw Dr. Nazarian 4/3/18, but she was professional, thorough, and put me at ease. She reattached my broken crown after Xrays and impressions were taken. She presented my permanent options moving forward. She reattached this crown again on 4/17/18 (baklava). I met Dr. Pak on my dreaded 4/26/18 appointment since I didn't know much about dental implants. Again, the information provided and his demeanor, I relaxed as best I could before the root canal post, dental bone extraction, and the new screw foundation were initiated. The audible drilling sounds were not great and I kept my eyes shut during the two hour procedure. Yes, the local area was numbed up and after was fitted with a temporary flipper retainer. Also, I was placed on short term antibiotic and pain management post treatment. I received a thorough follow-up via email about sutures and completed my one week appointment on 5/3/18. My son has his long overdue dental cleaning scheduled on 5/7/18 (so he will the first to report on the state of their dental hygienists) and my final dental implant session is not until 6/7/18. Seems lame to have dental appointments around our respective birthdays, but dental health is very important. Plus this Yelper wants to eat and resume my social calendar with confidence again! Dr. Pak, Dr. Nazarian, and their professional staff at All Family Shoreline Dental start a new chapter at this current, established location. It has been nothing but positive experiences moving forward.

They are usually booked up and for good reason, they take excellent care of their patients. I have no dental insurance and wanted to find a good dentist nearby that would help get my teeth into good order after years of neglect. Not only are they well-priced, but they also were able to work with me on scheduling payments since I had a big purchase and moved into a new place and it was just chaotic for a little bit. Dr To is exceptional. He was able to do a consult and tell me things that no other dentist has told me in my years of treatment. They were also very transparent about the plan of treatment and were happy to answer all my anxious questions regarding the plan, what they were going to do etc. The front desk staff are super lovely and nice as well. For once in my life I don't actively dread going into the dentist because I know that I'm in good hands and everyone there is so pleasant. They were able to answer all my billing questions and concerns, especially since I paid out of pocket with no insurance and that was a major relief. They also helped schedule me into their booked tight calendar because I had some pressing dental work needed and they made it happen. The dental hygienists are also really easy to work with and will accommodate you if you have any concerns. I especially don't like having to get numbed up with a big needle and they do their best to be gentle. They also communicate really well and allowed me to interrupt my cleaning whenever I felt even slightly uncomfortable. Overall I give this dentist an A+ and highly recommend anyone unsure of where to go, this place will definitely have you in good hands.
