Dental work that is absolutely needed and not cheap. For a business that claims "Every team member has been carefully selected and trained to provide compassionate care and ensure a positive, comfortable experience during your visit" this doesn't seem to hit the mark. My initial complaint was lack of financing options for families and the receptionist told me she would call back by end of day to let me know if there was anything that could be done. Instead, the call returned was from the office manager cancelling our appt due to the "threat" that I mentioned writing a review or talking to the community. That's exactly how I worded it. No threats. Now instead of receiving any customer service, I am writing a valid review about how inappropriate it is to cancel a minors appt because the mother suggests she is unhappy. We as military families are stationed here with limited options and finding out there are ZERO payment plan options for high cost procedures besides delayed care or taking out credit (that may not be approved for everyone) was shocking. Most dentists that I know offer SOME form of payment options. I did not find this to be the case here. Lack of affordability aside, this review was solely triggered based on the egregious cancellation. A complaint is not a "threat" and using that as an excuse to cancel a medical appointment that a minor needs is something worth reporting. I welcome contact with the owner to know if this is how the business is supposed to be run.

I have peace of mind knowing he will help us with any issues that arise. I have implants, lots of them, and they are beautiful and feel just like my own teeth. In fact, they feel better than my own teeth! He has a way of making them look absolutely natural. And I can eat anything! What I most appreciate is that Dr. Berner made several temporary fixtures to help me through the period of time that my mouth was healing and the new teeth were being made. In my case, my most recent implant fixture was made to replace my two front teeth. It was very traumatic for me to look in the mirror. His staff actually take the time explain everything that's going on, how it may've happened, treatment options with their pros and cons, and their professional opinion. They told me things my other dentists have never informed me of and used a laser to test my wisdom teeth for more accurate readings than an x-ray. The cleaning was so gentle and thorough! They use technique, not force. Consultation was awesome and no extra, unnecessary things were done. I was in charge of which option I liked best. Dr. Berner has been in for 28 years and really knows his stuff! Although he's not a provider in my network and I have to pay a little out of pocket, it was well worth it! The reviews on him are true. I have 3 more appointments with him and I feel calm about going.

it's not that he's a horrible dentist, it's just that wood isn't exactly the friendliest of…read moredentists that i have experienced. almost every-time i went there, i felt that he was disappointed in me or that i was some obligation of a client. there was one time when i had an oral infection that he wasn't as bad...i was pretty scared though...i had an abscess that made me look like quasimodo....at that time i was a young adult 19-20 ish and i missed the big halloween weekend. the infection was by my jaw, so i could barely open my mouth to eat. i was on a diet of grilled cheese sandwiches(flattened w/a spatula) and tomato soup. needless to say, i was pretty bummed out. this was the only time in our 3 year dental relationship that he was nice. another time, his assistant was late and he seemed REALLY agitated by this and when she arrived he yelled at her in front of me. i find this to be unprofessional and rude. .he should have spoken to he in a private manner instead of in front of a client...it's belittling. i think that as far as the mechanic of dentistry goes, he's ok. but as for customer service and being a boss...not so much. I don't know if it's still true, but at the time, he was the only dentist that accepted tricare prime(the military dental insurance) which i was insured under through my dad, being a retiree.
