I would exercise extreme caution with this dental office. They do not confirm allergies or do a…read moretrue informed consent before fillings. I was told by my oral surgeon that I should ask for a crown exchange due to the crown being too small to fill the gap between teeth, but the provider here said that she wouldn't recommend that due to it 'being expensive' and that I should go the cheaper route of filling a perfectly healthy tooth to fill the gap between my crown and the tooth next door. The provider also told me a lot about what she would do if she was the patient, which isn't informed consent. They did not confirm my allergies or tell me what was being injected for numbing. I don't know what anesthetic was used, but I was numb from my eyelid down to my collarbone for hours after the procedure. They also did not go over thoroughly the benefits, risks, alternatives, and what would happen if I deferred treatment before a filling on a natural and unaffected tooth. Had I known how much enamel the provider was going to drill off, I would've never consented to the treatment. They also didn't say that I should expect sensitivity for weeks to months afterwards prior to the procedure but told me afterwards. I also felt like the provider was distracted during the procedure. I consider not checking allergies and not having informed consent or assigned consent form a major breach of safety and ethical practice. I have already spoken to the manager about this, but I will be getting a second opinion and taking my care elsewhere because I don't believe I'll be getting ethical care here.

Dr. Lemme is very skilled and knowledgeable, and has a way of explaining things so they make sense. I had an old root canal tooth that had turned pretty brown over the years. Dr. Lemme let me know at our first few appointments that I had options other than pulling it for an expensive implant or putting on a pricey veneer!! I had always been told those were my choices. Anyway, I did the treatment (internal bleaching) over several office visits this past summer and have been absolutely thrilled with the result!!! Plus it was so inexpensive I honestly felt like I got triple the value of what I paid. Appointments have been easy to schedule, and I appreciate the text reminders. Dental work that is absolutely needed and not cheap. For a business that claims "Every team member has been carefully selected and trained to provide compassionate care and ensure a positive, comfortable experience during your visit" this doesn't seem to hit the mark. My initial complaint was lack of financing options for families and the receptionist told me she would call back by end of day to let me know if there was anything that could be done. Instead, the call returned was from the office manager cancelling our appt due to the "threat" that I mentioned writing a review or talking to the community. That's exactly how I worded it. No threats. Now instead of receiving any customer service, I am writing a valid review about how inappropriate it is to cancel a minors appt because the mother suggests she is unhappy. We as military families are stationed here with limited options and finding out there are ZERO payment plan options for high cost procedures besides delayed care or taking out credit (that may not be approved for everyone) was shocking. Most dentists that I know offer SOME form of payment options. I did not find this to be the case here. Lack of affordability aside, this review was solely triggered based on the egregious cancellation. A complaint is not a "threat" and using that as an excuse to cancel a medical appointment that a minor needs is something worth reporting. I welcome contact with the owner to know if this is how the business is supposed to be run.
