Hired Strong Fence to pour small patio and pergola. The concrete work is sloppy and even after speaking with the crew regarding the slope away from home they still screwed up. I now have a lake forming on my inner patio. Do not use this company they have no skills about concrete work. Representative will not return calls or text. I do not use Strong Fence aka Strong Fence and deck aka Strong Deck fence and More. We spent 13k on a fence that now looks like a hillbilly stick fence. 30 Boards are cracking and warped. The workmanship on the gates are pretty bad. I had to fix my self just to use. Called several times for fix and repair warranty work. When she answered. I got the runaround then just no answers at all. Almost a year later, saw a value pack flyer with new # she gave me the runaround again and then no answer. Called from a different # she answered and I said we are getting a lawyer. She said it would be a waste of time. Had Mr. Johnson (owner) at the house for an estimate to build a new fence and was very pleased with his explanation and professionalism. He explained in detail the work to be done, the cost and the time frame for the job. Last Monday, his crew of 5 showed up (on time) and had the job done by 3:00 pm on Wednesday. Francisco (team lead) and his men did an wonderful job, rebuilding the fence and cleaning up after. On 4/30/20 I received an estimate to get my fence built and a new gate installed. As well as get my deck repaired in parts & stained. John came out to the property and only provided me with the information for the fence but said could not do the deck at the moment because he needed to discuss the cost with someone else but he would have it to me by the following week. He requested to start work on the fence and I agreed. The work on the fence was fast, the crew was professional and the cost was reasonable for the work done. I was happy with the service. However I never received the estimate for my deck work the following week ; despite following up and requesting it on 5/7, instead John advised that he would have Willy stop by and take a look at it to provide me a completion date. On 5/12 still had not heard anything so again I followed up and text "Any word on when he plans on coming by. I'm beginning to think that this was a situation where we knew that we weren't going to be able to do the deck but figured why not just get the fence done and make the cash on that job as opposed to doing the whole entire job that I was seeking to have done. If that is the case, I completely understand but then I should start looking for someone else to do my deck as I originally wanted please let me know. thank you" he responded that he had asked Willy again and to please be patient. I think to this point I have been more than patient and on 5/25 since I had not gotten a single response from anyone I text to advise of the following "I have not heard anything from you or Willy regarding the deck. Do not worry. I will contract someone else to do the work". I get a response on the 28th indicating that the deck will be $1825. I I asked for the estimate to be sent over with a full breakdown he quoted me "To prepare 444sq ft power wash $495.00 Stain $1,220.00 2x10' pressure treated $38.00 2x14 $72.00 Total $1,825.00" I said $495 to power wash a deck that had nothing on it was high but what I couldn't wrap my head around was the $1220 for staining the deck when I had the entire fence stained by them , 3 weeks earlier for $ 430. I asked him to explain the price difference because the fence was significantly larger than the deck. it made no sense to me and I just needed to understand why. His response was that he was just following the guidelines and to feel free to get another estimate elsewhere which I said that I would do since I found it very suspicious and price gouging, and the numbers just weren't adding up. Since I thought that the company had done a decent job I thought I should at least give them another chance and have them send someone else out for the estimate. I called spoke to the receptionist who advised that the manager would call me but he never did, so I called and asked again for an explanation to the huge difference she advised that her manager stated there was nothing he should do. He never even bothered to come to the phone and explain why he had not sent anyone to give me an estimate or why the price had gone up so drastically in the last 3 weeks. I say express this for one reason. I don't mind paying for good work I refuse to pay for bad service. I was willing to accept that the price may have changed and explanation would have been helpful 3 times as much for staining a deck is unreasonable. If the job was to small then you could have said that and not have wasted my time. No explanation makes it seem like you are hiding something lying and price gouging. I can't do business and or encourage business to be done with a company that operates this way. If it was a company guideline then it would be easy to explain there would be no reason that it could not be. I don't do this work for a living and I appreciate people that do. I just don't want to be lied to or have my time wasted or ripped off. The attempt by them to do so is insulting. I will be contacting the BBB regarding the same. read more

Our fence is less than 2 years old and the stain is already coming off and several boards are cracked and warped. Warranty is a joke. They won't come fix anything under warranty. They will be really nice and helpful until they get paid and then they disappear. Don't use them. They built the fence directly on the ground so the water has nowhere to run and just sits and stagnates. I told them that the fence should be off the ground some and they fought with me about "this is the way it should be done (right on the ground)". They never did what I asked. When we asked for some extra stain for touch ups, they refused to give us any and said they would sell it to us if they would do they work "because it's a proprietary blend." read more

Smooth Talking Rod. I'm thinking everything he told me about the business and his personal life was probably a lie to make me trust him. The patio cover we had built has a leaky roof. No big deal if they would have just fixed it. 6 months later and 7 times contacting him and nothing... The roof was done 3 times before I paid them. It looked like it was the contractor's (Gilberto) first roof he ever did. There was no flashing originally to the house. Then he put the flashing on over top the roof and caulked it to the shingles and glued it to the siding (CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS). The roof actually looked like a damaged UFO. Then he got some help and made it look better so I paid them, but first rain and it leaked everywhere. My old fence removed. New fence went up in 5 days. And it's the most beautiful fence in the alley. I love the color, the gate and hardware on gates. The cap on top. I'm so impressed. There were only two men who did all the work. Tony and his Father. They started 8/12 ended 8/16. 7 hours s day in the mid August heat. I went out once and Tony came around from other side of yard, took off his ball cap, introduced himself asked if everything looked ok anything. I told him it looked beautiful. And thanked him. I've noticed some reviews are saying they left trash all over the place. They left each day with the compressor left where they last used extension cords spread everywhere. New boards old boards side of house on each side. And I DIDN'T CARE AT ALL!!! After working in that heat all day. I wouldn't have expected to clean up everyday. Love love my fence. Stay away from this company!!! Fence and gate installed in August, still having issues with the gate.. This is December!!!!!!! I would give ZERO stars if possible. Motor was an issue upon installation, frequency allowed my neighbor to open my gate and me to open theirs. Changed the frequency, which still allowed my neighbor to open my gate. I told John the representative that I wanted a new motor. He said to wait to see if this would fix the issue before going to drastic measures... Also, the gate installers were mad because the fence company did not tell them this was for a new gate, they thought it was replacing an existing gate. They were mad because they had to dig a trench and track to stabilize the gate.. Well 2 months later on October 21st, the track failed where it was welded. I called John and also texted him a picture, he said he would send a crew out to stabilize the track. I missed 3 days of work and also sitting home all day on Sundays for the crew to no show...texting and calling John.. no communication and not able to commit to a day and time.. frustrating to say the least. The crew comes out on Sunday, November 1st at 1:15PM, they are there to weld the track back together and not stabilize it as John had indicated. The guys also told me that the weld would not hold as the original crew did not put down the correct size track. The correct track should be a 2 X 2 and not a 1 inch track... (I was furious to learn this and also was told they would be stabilizing and not just welding) One guy also stood on the track and bounced up and down to show how weak it was. I immediately notified John, whose only reply was that he would let the warehouse guys know. During this entire time, there is little to no communication.. I have texts to him trying to get this resolved. On November 4th, I finally just call their office to speak to the manager.. It only gets worse. They have a really good female who is their gate keeper.. she won't provide her name and also refuses to let you speak directly to the manager. she also will not give you their direct number.. she just says that someone will call you shortly.. NO ONE EVER DOES!!! I called on 11/8, 11/9 again getting the same answer that someone will call me shortly. I informed her that I have filed 2 complaints with the BBB. FINALLY on Tuesday, 11/10 the crew shows up and pulls out the old track and digs a deeper trench and installs the new 2X2 track... I am thinking this is FINALLY over, but HELL NO!!!! On 11/13 Friday, the gate fails to close.. call and get gate keeper girl, show canned response of someone will call you shortly... On Sat 11/14, I leave a message on Monday 11/16 I leave a message at 9:20, I call again at 10:20.. I will not give a star to this company, but you can't submit your review without one. Rod was the guy we worked with. He was all Mr. Wonderful until he got our check. From then on, he was rude to us, then totally ignored us. I ended up paying someone else $300.00 to come and clean up the mess they made on my neighbors side of the fence. We had them do an 8 Ft. board on board and the crew did a good job, but I would never recommend them. One of my sons has been trying to get them to come back to do gate repair and they have never responded to his calls. The Owner of TSF [Texas Strong Fence] is a Simon Dhan. Simon also tries portray that he has a Partner, by the name of 'David Winston' [who is NOT EVEN a living person]. David Winston is an alias Simon uses as his 'Partner'. Again, there is NO David Winston. Simon also has referenced 'the Owner' as a 'Shlomo Dhan'. So Ladies & Gentlemen, take your pick. Just to be clear, Simon Dhan is the sole owner of Texas Strong Fence. Texas Strong Fence screwed my wife & I when we contracted Texas Strong Fence to install an 8' Cedar Board on Board Privacy Fence around a section of our primary residential property in Frisco, TX. Again, our agreement was to install an 8' Board on Board Cedar, and to in. Here are some facts which have been documented first by myself, then validated by either a State of Texas license Residential Engineering Firm, The City of Frisco Building & Permits Department, or BOTH. Then was recorded for record in either Arbitration [under the Dallas BBB process], and/or Collin County Court Case [confirmed] Judgment under Collin County Case Number 006-02332-2015. The Collin County Court Judgment is for $21,732.00. You're welcome to look up the case on the Collin County Website. It is certainly public record. Below here are the first three which comes to mind. 1). TSF used substandard fence/building materials. P-F-S, instead of Cedar, & untreated Kick Boards. Substandard metal to Frame the 32' Remote Entry Gate. 2). TSF installed 'Gate Motor' grossly to weak to Power the size of Remote Gate installed. 3). Under City of Frisco Fence Code for 8' Fence: a. Post must be buried min. 36". TSF did not follow Code! b. Remote Gate support rail must have adequate support - TSF did not follow Code. * These above are just the first 3 off of the top of my head, and there is plenty more, I just do not want to bore you with an overload of details in this review. Here is another fact: TSF [Texas Strong Fence] tries so hard to be such an elusive company. Go Figure. But as of tonight, this address STILL shows up under their Contact page as one of their two Company Addresses. My advice is do NOT Trust Texas Strong Fence. If they try to tell you all about their "Warranty", my suggestion is to tell them to "Get Lost Now", and then call three or four other legitimate Fence Companies. Verify any company which you are seriously considering hiring/contracting. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING ANYONE WITHIN THIS COMPANY TELLS YOU, because ultimately whether to 'honor' what you were told, will be up to the Owner. Do NOT do business with Texas Strong Fence, check out vendors with the BBB. Scrutinize a volume of Consumer Reviews to see patterns of whether to public 'is under the impression that the company delivers what they promised, if their work is trusted, and especially if the company honors their Warranty". Never do business with any company that will not provide everything agreed to in writing, Simon Dhan [or David Winston, or Shlomo], or whatever he is calling himself this week, still has never paid a penny on the Court Judgment yet. PATHETIC SERVICE... They talk so well, to get your business, and then they completely neglect you. I got them to do my fence. 8ft. board-on-board. I got on their schedule two weeks in advance. John, the guy who was my point of contact, was totally irresponsible and I regret having chosen this company for this job. They were late by four days. They were working on another work, that was scheduled on the same day as our work originally was. John never called me to inform about this, and I had to call them to know that the job was to get delayed. Pathetic service right up front. Instead of a Thursday, the guys started on a Monday. They came in at 2 pm instead of 9 AM in the morning, because they were working somewhere else in Frisco. Again, was not informed about it. Wonder why they scheduled other jobs when they were supposed to work on ours. They didn't show up on one of the days (Tuesday) after they ripped down my old fence on a Monday, leaving us fenceless for couple nights. Then they messed up our sprinklers by building the fence on top of some of them and hardly apologized for it, and told me to take care of it myself. Now that the fence is done, there are improperly nailed boards and I can see air gap between boards. That's not what you expect to notice when you specifically requested for board-on-board. I've tried since March to get warranty work done, left multiple text messages for multiple people plus multiple voicemails and emails. The stain didn't last more than a year or so and was told it was a 5 year stain when we signed the contract. AVOID THIS COMPANY unless you like chasing warranty work to get done and are okay with things dragging out and waiting months for a call back. They finally restrain the fences and it's a horrible job, I'm now going to have to do it myself or pay someone to do it. read more

Awful service!! Poor workmanship!! After less than 6 months, the premium money we paid for the so called "premium" boards and board on board design have quickly failed, shrinking and cracking beyond reasonable expectations of a much older fence. They damaged our neighbors sprinkler system and refuse to answer their phones and emails to repair tbad boards they installed. The Owner Shlomo A Dhan or Simon Dhan fails to respond to emails and multiple voicemails we left. We've been trying to reach these people for many months, left multiple points of contact and not one person in their office can reply? Obviously a poor choice on our part to trust these deceiving and obviously cowardly people at Stong Fence and Deck. Be warned! They're happy to take your money and claim that the other fence guys are lousy. Really? With all the promises that Rod the salesman made, We have yet to receive any customer service or repair that he claimed. Our neighbor hired a professional sprinkler repair and irrigation company to revive their lawn dying out. They discovered that the cause was from Strong Fence and Deck of Richardson, Tx that was poorly installed and crossed onto our neighbors property line. After digging up the yard they found that Strong Fence and Deck destroyed the water lines with the support posts and cement used flowed throughout the yard blocking the remainder into the yard. Hey accidents happen, pipes can be repaired, but Rod and Shlomo Dhan refuse to help us cover the repair cost in the damage that their company created. We called multiple times and left messages, no response. We called Rod, he basically told us call the owner. Yep, this was such a mistake to have chosen them. Since they haven't bothered to rectify any of this with multiple chances, and they refuse to answer the phone just to at least fix all the rotten boards they installed, then I will make it my mission to let the public know how pitiful they are.
