I decided to bite the bullet when after passing up to some deals I got a really good Black Friday deal offered. Pay one year in full (fit plan) and get one year for free (BOGO). It helped to that Robby, from the Edge called me too to remind me, after my son had signed me up for info. So on Black Friday I got my deal and I'm set now until 2023. Cool thing that I can walk into any Edge location to have my work out. So we are now almost entering 2025 and I have been pretty consistent for the last 3 years. 2024 they didn't have the BOGO deal, but I paid 2024 in full and they added 3 free months. I have been enjoying the Edge the last 3 years, and I may add more.

I called them and was told that there was no need to cancel in person. The woman on the phone said that she would put the cancellation order thru immediately. She lied. I've been paying $26.67 a month for a service I barely used. I'm going to my bank as well as Planet Fitness this morning. If I need to cancel my checking account in order to put an end to this monthly theft, so be it. The VPN showed me as being in Canada. I actually live 5 miles away from the Trumbull Ct Planet Fitness.

I came across a few "bigger" gyms in the area (that, years ago, I was a member of) but when I contacted them, I just knew they wouldn't work for what I needed/wanted. I emailed Crossfit Expressions and they quickly got back to me with clear answers to my questions and a "no problem" kind of attitude. Since joining in March, I have been quickly welcomed into their community. It's a small gym with an awesome atmosphere -- people know each other, talk to each other, support one another and the class sizes are small. The programming is thoughtful, easily scaled to your level -- and without a doubt, every time, gets you an great workout. As a military family, we've had the good fortune of being a part of many Crossfit gyms. The coaching here by Carole, John & Jordan is the best I've experienced. They take their time with you - give specific instruction - and really motivate you. I've had 2 kids since starting Crossfit. They met me where I was, helping me scale and set attainable goals for the time I'm here. There was no judgement - just quality coaching and programming. If you've never done Crossfit or are just starting, this place and these people are the way to go. I have never, so quickly, felt like "part of the team" and in our lifestyle where I am constantly the "new person" I appreciate that more than they know. I'll be back whenever we are in town!
