I've been seeing Dr. Bobby Gill for spinal care, and the improvement has been real. I had major back surgery with rods and a vertebral replacement, and my back pain and spinal alignment have both gotten noticeably better under his care. He listens, explains, and treats with intention--not a quick in-and-out adjustment (unless that's what you want). Place. This is a mixed review. One the one hand, Dr. Gill and his staff were exceedingly nice, their office was comfortable, scheduling was easy, and Dr. Gill always took the time to answer questions. If these were the only factors, this would be an easy 5-star review. On the other hand, after going to Strive 1-2x/week for over 2 months, I made basically no progress in my upper back pain. Dr. Gill was very confident he could help me after my initial visit and I followed his plan closely, but 2 months later, he acknowledged he probably couldn't help me, and I should pursue other options. I appreciated his honesty then, but ultimately, I came to Strive with the sole goal of reducing my back pain, and we certainly didn't accomplish that. read more

This was my first experience with chiropractic care, so I didn't have much to compare it to at first. I saw Dr. Gill for regular neck adjustments, and I did notice real improvement -- most of my neck mobility came back over a few months, and I appreciated how clearly he explained everything. One thing that surprised me was that they don't take insurance. I asked several times since my plan covers spinal manipulations, but was told their billing codes are different. I usually paid about $100 for two sessions every couple of weeks. When I became pregnant, I tried their prenatal care. Unfortunately, that experience wasn't what I was hoping for. There were no pregnancy pillows, and the adjustments felt a bit too rough for me. After one visit, I had neck pain for several days. Dr. Gill was kind and offered a free follow-up, but I decided to switch to a chiropractor who specializes in prenatal care -- and the difference was night and day. I also had about a $50 credit left on my account that I didn't receive back. I didn't ask for it since it just felt awkward, but it might be something to double-check if you end treatment early. Overall, Dr. Gill did help me with my initial neck issues, and I appreciate that. For general chiropractic care, my experience was mostly positive, but for prenatal treatment I'd recommend seeing a specialist who's trained and equipped for pregnancy care. read more
