Saw posts that displayed some tasty and unique cupcakes from them (like their strawberry Pop Tarts one). Digging deeper into their main site, Yelp reviews, and other Instagram postings, the more I wanted to try them out. Unfortunately, their main bakery is located in Ontario, so I bookmarked as one of my "whenever I head that way" type places. Fortunately, I discovered they have this My Delight Truck, which brings down their baked goods to different cities each week. With one being nearby, I excitedly took a visit to them. There was a small line when I first arrived, but that changed quickly as I got to the front to order. I got there a couple of hours after they opened up but a lot of their cupcake stock was already sold out. Service: Very friendly and helpful. Gave me great info about their different baked good items. Decor: Clean, well-lit, and great glass display with the name of the foods and prices clearly visible. Dig the blue lighting underneath. Food: I ordered their Hummingbird cupcake ($5.75) and two Wookie cookies ($5 each). The Wookie cookies are gingerbread cookies with that super cute, heart-eyes Wookie design on them. The cookies have a nice crunch when you bite into them but gives way to a softer center. I really enjoyed that the cookie had a pleasant, mild ginger flavor (not a fan when it's so potent that it becomes spicy). I also very much enjoyed the Hummingbird cupcake. Devin helped me to fill out the order form. It's a 9 inch round black and white cake, with raspberry jam filling and buttercream frosting. My coworker is stylish and always has her hair makeup and nails perfect so I thought elegant with pink and white roses. (The gold Happy Birthday candle I added for 3D effect and was not included.) I scheduled for 7 a.m. pickup today. There was the usual morning rush at the bakery but I was still in and out of there within 15 minutes. It turned out great!! They sent us several mock-ups with colors and design styles throughout the process so we could see and approve of every little detail. We did two rounds of tastings (one at the shop and another at home) and coordinating the second round to finalize our flavors was super easy. Also, they coordinated directly with our florist to incorporate live flowers that perfectly matched the butter cream florals on the cake and the flowers on my dress. Another bakery (Cucamonga Cakery... yikes) told us this would be impossible and tried to make us feel dumb for wanting it. Some Crust made it happen EASILY. They brought our vision to life and the cake was seriously stunning! And the taste is so light and fresh! My wife clearly stated she needed a gluten free cake. Hours later, the business owner sent a follow-up text, even though the dietary requirement had already been discussed. After we sent the deposit, which was described as non-refundable, an additional $15 charge was suddenly added. I explained there was a misunderstanding and that we would rather not move forward. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner became defensive and dismissive. During the call, we were spoken to in a condescending and hostile tone. I responded in a condescending tone to match theirs, and the owner abruptly hung up. After the call, the owner later sent a text instructing us not to contact the business again, even though we had not called or texted back. The deposit was refunded, but the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional. This was never about the additional $15. It was about honesty, transparency, and professionalism. Instead of acknowledging the misunderstanding, the owner doubled down, deflected blame, and personally attacked a customer. Even more concerning is that the owner's response tries to attack my character publicly instead of addressing the facts. They brought up a dealership review from eight years ago, which was simply about negotiating a vehicle purchase, to claim we "bully" businesses. This is irrelevant and clearly an attempt to discredit us rather than take responsibility. Based on this experience, it is clear that accountability does not exist at this business, and that they are more focused on trying to silence or detract from what occurred than taking responsibility. Readers can decide for themselves. Update: Additionally, after I responded to the original reply, the business owner edited their response and changed the story, context, and accusations in an apparent effort to further discredit me. I have attached screenshots showing the original version of the post for transparency. Update 2: The business owner previously responded by publicly sharing my private information. I reported the comment to Yelp, and Yelp removed it after determining it fell outside their Content Guidelines. In my opinion, publicly sharing a customer's private information is unacceptable.

I usually find that bakeries and donut shops selling these types of specialty donuts tend to upcharge or be fairly expensive. However, the donuts here were reasonably priced!
