All I can say is if anyone should order a cake on curbside and you allow for a similar substitution…read moreyou may be out of luck, actually you may not get a cake at all! I was told they were out of strawberry short cake and they substituted it with nothing! So I ask my curbside assistant if he could go in and choose a cake , his choice. He returned to tell me that he was so sorry but there wasn't even one cake left in the bakery! I questioned that by asking " not one cake " and he again said no. It was this past monday at 6pm...not a holiday. You simply have to laugh at the absence of customer service. Oh and my Lolly pop Strawberries...out and no strawberries for me. I didn't even ask about a substitution since I knew the answer would be ALL OUT!

While strolling through the mall with the family, the nieces decided we should have a quick treat…read moreat the food court. We browsed the eateries around the food court and quickly decided to grab something that was quick and hopefully non-messy for the girls. We were greeted warmly by the staff and ordered a small pretzel bite, dipping cheese and a refreshing drink. I thoroughly enjoyed my order of pretzel bites but the twin was a tad put off that one of the entree items was unavailable with still several hours left in the day until closing. It didn't seem as if the staff were to eager to make the item (I believe it was the pretzel dog) and went back to their prepping for end of day tasks. While the twin discussed with the staff why it was a bit early to be shutting down,(laughs) the girls and I found a seat in the food court and starting devouring our bites. They were perfect. Warm and crisp on the outside, with a soft and buttery inside. The dipping cheese was a perfect accomplice to the bites that stole a piece of my heart that day. Maybe I was hungry, or perhaps the butter and salt in my mouth were in a happy place, but I loved the experience and the treat.. This review would have been a 5 star, but the entree the twin was looking for wasn't available and they definitely had more time to make them. It just seems as if the staff didn't want to. All in all, not a bad trip to the mall and not a bad snack for the girls and I. Ms. Foodie, the Islandgal29412 (Recommended)

As a native Charlestonian (by way of the most Beautiful South Carolina) I am accustomed to "Auntie…read moreAnne's Pretzels" which can be sweet, gooey, caramelly (yes, caramelly), and/or salty. Wanting a quick snack before we exited the Sunset Mall, the "FAM" decided it would be nice to order some treats from the Pretzelmaker which was located near the Mall's Entrance. The menu, which only had a few offerings was relatively easy to read so we quickly decided on an order of the "Mini Pretzel dogs". It could have been the way the teen-aged employee looked at me over his glasses, but I could tell something was wrong from the moment I repeated "Mini Pretzel dogs". He peered at his fellow teen-aged employee who just happened to be rolling out some "Mini Pretzel dogs" on her work station and said, "that will be about 20 minutes". *****you've got to be kidding me***** I felt like Greg Focker during the scene of "Meet the Fockers" when he was standing in the airport--all alone--attempting to purchase a plane ticket. It's Sunday, the Mall is e-m-p-t-y, and there were two customers sitting down in the Pretzelmaker seating area. How do you not have any "Mini Pretzel Dogs" -- not even one? There is a small possibility that the last customer purchased them ALL, but I highly doubt that -- how disappointing to be completely out of one of your four staples: "Pretzels, Pretzel Dogs, Mini Pretzel Dogs, and Mini Pretzel Bites". Needless to say, we did not order the "Mini Pretzel Dogs" but instead went with the "Mini Pretzel Bites" which were very tasty (thankfully) and a Strawberry Lemonade slushy. The kiddies and my Double-Mint Twin quickly departed with the "yum-yums" so I waited at the counter for our drink. After waiting, and then waiting some more I asked if the drink he was making was actually mine. Another customer must have had the same idea because she quickly reminded him she ordered three drinks too, and he promised her "they'd be right up". By the time I sat down with the drink and four straws the Double-Mint Twin and the kiddies had polished off more than half of the pretzels. Despite the service not being the fastest, the food selections were mighty delicious. Additionally, I will gladly report that the most-appreciated Military Discount helped take me out of the no "Mini Pretzel Dogs" funk, and we'll just have to see if they can work on a better rating review in the future. Until then, carolinagirl29412~

I received a call shortly from pharmacist Gabriel Beidoe who had overheard our conversation. He had called another pharmacy and located the drug and had the pharmacist set it aside for me. It was not another CVS. Apparently several other pharmacies in town were also out. I want to recognize Gabriel and his personal attention to his customers. Thank You!
