During our recent master bathroom remodel, we visited Contempo at the recommendation of our…read morecontractor. We were a little overwhelmed at first by the massive selection of products on display, but with the help of their designer we quickly honed in on some products we loved. Contempo has an amazing selection of tile products, in all price categories, and I love how bright and open their showroom is. My wife and I weren't sure we'd be able to find tile we both agreed on, but we came away with some samples we really loved. When took those samples home to compare them and let our contractor know our final selections. We ended up ordering all of the tile for our bathroom remodel from Contempo and have LOVED the appearance and quality of everything we purchased from them. The only disappointed we experienced is that the octagon tile we'd selected for the floor of our master bathroom shower wasn't available. When we were at Contempo, they said the product was in stock, but when our contractor went to order it, it was actually 2 months away. It was on the way from Italy or something. We ended up comprising on diamonds instead, but I wish we'd be able to use that octagon tile.

They had a hand sanitizing station here! Right when you walk in, you can tell that they're taking…read morethe pandemic seriously. They had a little area where you can make drinks, but we weren't sure if that area was closed because of the pandemic so we didn't check it out. We were greeted by their front desk right away, and they asked if we needed any help. We didn't at the time and we just roamed their store looking at their tiles. They had SO many options that are unique! As we were roaming, we had someone else come up to us to help out. We can't remember her name (sorry!) but she was SO helpful!! She gave us really insightful and helpful advice for choosing a backsplash that matches our cabinets. She told us that with a quartz countertop, we should choose a backsplash color that will compliment the veining of it. Typically people will think a white backsplash will do so, but she showed us that it turns the quartz a bit yellow! She really knew her stuff!! She showed us several options of different tiles and it felt like we were at a design center designing our place. She also gave us a contact info of an installer that she recommended. Would definitely recommend her and this place!!

When searching for granite (or marble, or CaesarStone Quartz, or Vetrazzo recycled glass and…read moreconcrete)slabs for countertops or anything else you could think to do with a stone slab, Contempo's Slab Gallery is the first place I go. Full disclosure? I work in the stone industry and have known the guys here for years and through our professional relationship, I have come to regard many of them as friends. Fuller disclosure? Seriously, this is the first place I go. Every time I need a slab. They have a huge indoor slab gallery with tons of slabs, as well as a parking lot full behind the building. The team here is knowledgeable and customer service oriented. Their selection is great, their prices are reasonable, and they can answer almost any question you might have about the care and keeping of your future rock. They will go above and beyond to try to find the stone you're looking for if they don't have it or if they don't have any available. They are super good about moving slabs to show them to customers (but please, listen to them, stay far away and safe, and don't be offended if they tell you to back up and get out of the way... they just don't want to crush you any more than you want to be crushed). They don't do any sort of installation, but they will give you cards for an assortment of installers if you ask, and their recommendations will be honest. For the most part, they don't sell to the public, but rather to licensed stone fabricators, but they do post the prices for the slabs (most yards don't) which is helpful so you know if you're looking at a slab that's triple your budget or not. One more thing? You can bring children here to look with you (some slab facilities don't allow children at all) but please remember to hold their hands. Slabs are sharp and dangerous, and heavy, but the frames they sit on are VERY inviting to be used as jungle jim equipment and it's very natural for your kids to want to run and climb, but super unsafe.

These guys are fantastic. Excellent slab yard. Great selection of amazing stone and really great…read morecustomer service. What we found most useful was that they actually post the price per sqft of each slab, which makes the process drastically easier relative to other places and speeds the selection process. Be sure to find out if slabs are already on hold before falling in love. You can put a slab on hold yourself, but you can be disappointed if the slab you liked turns out to already be spoken for. This appears to be a locally run operation, and they have done a great job creating an excellent operation. Overall we were very impressed and would recommend everyone go here.
