We made an appointment for surgery between Christmas and New Year at Memorial Herman Surgery Center on Kingsland. Amanda, her surgery coordinator even found me an appointment in an urgent care facility to get a surgery clearance since my doctor office was closed for the holidays and many medical facilities overbooked with people seeking Covid testing for holiday travel. Doctor Bridges operated on me on December 28th. She came to see me before surgery to explain everything and gave me reinsurance. She is so sweet and comforting. Few days after surgery I had some nerve pain. She had given me her cellular phone number so I was able to contact her easily. She send quickly a prescription to my pharmacy. During the follow up visits to change the dressing, the nurses were friendly, caring and gentle. They took X-rays at every visit to assess the healing process. The doctor explained thoroughly what to expect, gave a time frame on expected progress and answered all my questions. I am now waddling in my walking boot and mending well. This doctor is going above and beyond for her patients. I am very thankful for her outstanding care! My tip: Do not go anywhere else!

After reading a few negative reviews, I must admit that I was skeptical about my appointment…read more I arrived just on time. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. The receptionist checked me in, gave me my paperwork and a cup for a urine sample. She said, if you can and need to go, please give a urine sample. I didn't know that they were going to ask for that, so I didn't need to go. At no time did they make me feel like it was something that I HAD to do. As soon as the receptionist made a copy of my DL and insurance card, she pointed me to the waiting room to have a seat, fill out my paperwork and wait to be called. I didn't even have time to complete my paperwork before I was called back. So, the waiting time wasn't very long at all. An assistant called me to a side room to collect my medical history and add my history to the computer. She also took my vitals, height and weight. She was also very nice. After she finished she escorted me to an exam room and told me that the doctor would be in soon. I'm used to waiting some time before the doctor arrives, but it wasn't that long at all. Dr. Itai Ronan was very nice and took the time to actually listen to my concerns. He asked the right questions, and I felt like he truly cared about giving me the best care possible. He recommend a medication that I didnt even think about, that may actually be better for me in the long run. We agreed to take it for a couple of months to see if it'll be the right fit. The whole experience was great! One of the best doctor visits I've had in awhile. The staff was super friendly, from the front office all the way to the person that drew my blood for my labs. The doctor was top notch, and the office was welcoming, comfortable and clean. What more could you ask for? I'm super happy that I decided to not cancel my appointment and give them a shot. This will be my go to for all my female needs.

Chiefly, the nursing assistant of color that takes blood pressure/weight has a HORRIBLE attitude towards me every time I visit and the minion that comes into the room with them (I'm assuming they're making notes in addition to his in case he misses something) is extremely rude when you ask her whether or not something she is recommending is covered by insurance. Other than that, I'd recommend this office.
