Horrible customer service. Do not use this company. They will come fill your tank up with no notice even if you don't need or want more propane. I was getting ready to swap them out for a different vendor but now have to eat over $200 of their gas that I didn't need. They are not willing to work with me on this even though I never asked them to come fill it up. And if you are wondering why I am switching its because their price per gallon is significantly more expensive than every other company in town. read more

I have had lp gas from Stricks for my fireplace for years, but recently wanted to replace my aging electric range with a new gas one. I needed Stricks to replace my twin small tanks with a single larger one, and run a gas line to the new range. The new range from Lowes, while due to be delivered in mid-June, didn't show up until mid-October. Kristen from Strick's office was great trying to navigate the constantly moving range delivery schedule, and once delivered, getting the county inspector here for the final approval. Al, the installer from Stricks, was great, professional, personable, and sensitive to our need for coronavirus precautions. All in all, and not without its challenges, they could not have done any better to meet our needs. read more

They are good at delivering gas, but in season, you can forget getting any call backs about your gas fireplace, or buying logs. I assume they are so busy they don't care about selling anything but gas; they evidently need more sales people and installers so they can service the people who want new logs and repairs. read more

I'll start with the good news Mike one of the technicians very polite good workmanship and I was pleased with the installation of the tankless water heater and the gas line for a new gas stove. Now for the bad news I added a standby generator and had to purchase a second hundred gallon tank the price was $700 I could get the same tank at Parkers for $550 I asked them if they could do anything about the price and they said no. A tank isa tank, they have to meet the same standards why there is such a big difference in price I have no idea but side-by-side they are the same.Now the real bad news is the office staff rarely picks up the phone, you can leave a message you won't get a reply for two weeks. I had a question about my final payment for the work that was done and I thought that there is a discrepancy in there and it came down to the lady said I'll send you everything and you can figure out where the differences like she couldn't be bothered taking some time to work it out. read more

We recently switched gas companies. We are very pleased with the excellent customer service we have received. Service technicians called prior to appointments and showed up exactly when they were scheduled. Gas has been delivered promptly and no damage to driveway or grass. Savannah is great to deal with, either on the phone or in person, she is prompt, proactive and very professional. We initially switched because of poor customer service from old gas company, but Strick's prices were far better. So a double win for us. We definitely recommend doing business with Strick's. read more

I must say please be careful doing business with this company. We are renting a home and had a very awkward moment when our son and dog saw men running through our backyard removing the gas tanks. While they did send letters asking if we wanted to keep our service, again we are renters so we gave the letters to the rental company to give to the homeowners to see what they wanted to do but Stricklands decided it was time to bust in our yard and run off with the tanks. I don't know why they wouldn't knock on the door and let us know what they were doing but that's how they operate. But that's not the worst part - one of our tanks was full and I paid almost $120 to have it filled so when I asked for a refund on the tank it took me several phone calls with no real answer on a refund but they do admit the tank was almost full. So when I finally spoke with the proper person he said they can give me a refund but there would be a slight discount, and they can send me a check for $13! Can you believe that B.S. $13 on a $120 tank and that is a slight discount WOW! That's almost a 90% discount and guess what it's been a month and I still have not seen the check. Bottom line is I don't appreciate businesses that handle customers this way and I would never do business with them and recommend others don't as well. There are plenty of other companies out there so if you are with Stricklands currently good luck getting any refund if you decide to remove your tanks but maybe in the end a better company with better customer service will be worth the SLIGHT discount they will charge you when they remove your tanks. read more
