People and service were excellent! I was greeted and interacted with E. Moss! Great inspection visit for a procrastinator like me! Haha

Consistently good service and very professional. Prices are on par with other facilities. Usually in and out in under 30 minutes.

Later, they called to say both AC lines were leaking and sent a new estimate for $1,996. In this updated estimate, they claimed I had approved the diagnostic for $101, removed the freon recharge from the original quote, and bundled it into the service section along with hose replacement--without clearly explaining the changes. After doing my own research, I found that even the dealership only charges around $780 for the same repair, plus $350 for the recharge. I also spoke with another mechanic in town who informed me that my vehicle had an extended warranty on the AC compressor, and advised me to go to the dealership instead. When I told Brown's Automotive this, they responded with, "Well, how am I supposed to know about a warranty?" It would be helpful if staff at car repair shops were more informed about manufacturer warranties. Instead of automatically charging customers, they could guide them toward services that might be covered--saving time and money and building trust. They refused to remove the diagnostic charge, even though the issue wasn't just the cost--it was the lack of transparency, poor customer service, high cost and the way they misled me throughout the process. I'm shocked by the positive reviews and would never recommend this shop. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where honesty and customer care are a priority.

Put 1400$ into the car only to be left stranded 500 miles away needing a whole new engine. They then ghosted me, will not respond to call, text, or email. Their cars come with a warranty that will do everything it can to weasel out of covering anything. Do not trust these people. I did, and I'm now looking at 15,000$ into a 6,000$ car. Like a previous reviewer here, I too left here thinking highly of Ala Mustafa's culture in the sale, contrary to the bad name some give them. Turns out he was not a shining example after all, just a good salesman.

With a limited time & budget I shopped endlessly for a reliable car that could sustain my family constantly on the go. On 8/ 3/2022 I meet Ala Mustafa from AutoBro Center ( 180 Stanford Road, Pittsburgh NC) with a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse LS SUV for sale within my budget. I paid Ala Mustafa $6800 cash with assurance of reliability and up kept maintenance of the vehicle. Having limited knowledge of cars, he made it clear that he's an Auto shop and anything wrong with the vehicle has been addressed before the sale. He LIED! It's barely been a full month and already I've been dangerously stranded twice with my children in tow on the side of the road. I've spent over 700 dollars thus far for repairs he claimed where addressed already. The alternator had to be replaced as well as the battery. The car is running hot and shuts off in the middle of driving. I was so excited to learn Ala Mustafa is a Muslim man of similar faith, this gave me more comfort in feeling he feared God and wouldn't sell me a lemon. He even said because I too was muslim, "he would handle any issues that should arise, but there shouldn't be any." To my disappointment, this was a sellers tactic. I have be in consistent contact with him, making him aware of the new expenses I can afford to pay but had to out if necessity, including my insurance, having to sponsor a tow truck. I'm totally speechless over this entire encounter. I need him to either switch my car to one better or issue me a full refund of what I paid to go elsewhere. The better Business Bureau and every social media platform I can fathom, Civil court will be made aware of his company's terrible business practice, if this isn't resolved soon. This car needs to be replaced immediately. I have children to care for as a single mom, and can't do so without dependable transportation. I need someone to contact me ASAP with a day to swap this lemon. I don't have 6800 dollars to throw away!

Clyde at Pass The Wrench doesn't do that. He's a fine young man who provides quality, affordable service. If the job isn't done that day, you pay him when it is. I seriously lucked out by asking on Reddit if anyone knew of a mobile mechanic that could come to our house and fix out Infiniti, someone recommended him. He answered his phone right away, listened to the issue, and came plenty prepared. Not only was he fantastic with the service he provided, he was able to get us discounts on the parts we needed, willing to work around us very close to Christmas (even offering to work ON Christmas), and it turns out he can do more than just cars. Since moving to NC, all we ever hear about is how everyone in this state has "A Guy" they know that can do fix-it/handy projects around the house. Clyde at Pass The Wrench happens to be That Guy for us now. It's rare you find someone that loves what they do and is willing to do good work at a good price without trying to swindle their customers for a quick buck. When it comes to local businesses, Pass the Wrench is exactly the sort of place I want my money going because the person running it happens to be just an all around good human. He might be based out of Raleigh, but he services all over and will come to you to fix your car. We're out in Clayton, and he came to us without issue. I will personally be recommending him to everyone I know.
