Trainers are understanding, yet also push you. I've been wanting to go to a class, but haven't yet,…read moreso I can't comment on that. I like that there is plenty equipment, not like too exaggerated like in other places. That cuts into the free space where you can do things like stretching or walking lunges. I like that if it's not too busy I can do that in the little aisle. People go, do their thing, and leave you alone. Decent rates and for what is included. I cannot recall if there are discounts still, but there was when I signed up.

Traveling today and decided to check out this anytime. You may have seen my other anytime reviews,…read moreso some are hit and miss, despite having direction from corporate. This place was great. They had some non precor machines, a nice jungle gym type rack in the middle, couple power racks, and plenty of weights. Albeit mismatched plates but I'm not pretentious enough to care about all that. Gym was clean for the most part, very spacious, and machines were in good working order. Now their cardio bikes... They need some maintenance. The nicer of the two precor ones has a bad rattle and slips when trying to use it. I went to the octane lateral step machine to finish. It also has a catch but not as bad as the bike. They have an array of treadmills but this guy doesn't run. So can't tell you if they worked well. They did have a new stair master that looked pretty swank, but today was supposed to be bike day. Had plenty of bathrooms which were clean. Overall this gym is pretty nice. Needs some small things fixed but overall...good. Added some photos for y'all since theirs was greatly lacking them. I did miss the leg stuff and other power rack on the far side, too many folks to take photos as I try to be respectful of others.

Love the clean bathrooms and sauna. Quit my other gym to come here and the owner is super nice…read more Plus they sell a lot of protein treats at the front desk. They gave me a discount on my annual fee too, which was cool. Lots of classes and they have a huge astrotuff room. Plus- massage chairs!

Don't walk-run far away from this place immediately. They steal your money! My friend is a member…read morethere and they had a competition. Non members paid $500 and members paid $99 for an 8 week competition; with the winning pool starting at $500. So, I joined, paid the fee and won the competition; however, in the middle of it they changed it to a 6 week challenge without notice to anyone. First red flag. When it came to the winnings, Ike the owner walked away and acted like there was no competition at all. One of the personal trainers tried talking to him saying that it was wrong and tried to do the right thing. Ike never addressed or honored the winnings at all. He took our money and kept it. Do NOT give your money to this company. I've also been told by several people that they've been charging random charges throughout the month without explanation and when they have tried to cancel they had to change their card number completely because they refused to honor the cancellation. This is not an honest company and very bad for business. They steal your money and don't think twice about it.

The instructor Nadia was an absolute pleasure every lesson I had…read more Holly was helpful with the explanation and refund process. The ONLY reason I decided to cancel my membership was because I was diagnosed with a brain bleed. I have no time, nor the strength or energy to continue. I called twice to speak with someone because that is the only way to cancel-No answer. After eventually getting a hold of someone they sent my cancellation form. I filled out and returned the form but continued to receive billing statements. I called to see why I was still being charged and was told because I had a bill due when I tried to cancel they could not go through with the cancellation... I paid the "past due balance" and was able to cancel my membership. Incredibly unfortunate that you cannot just cancel and be done-especially if it's a medical reason and something I can't help. I now have 8 class credits that my bloody brain and I cannot use (:

Club Pilates West Temple is my happy place. Megan is my favorite instructor. Every class is…read moredifferent and we use all the equipment. She teaches in such a way that the entire class flow works your body from top to the bottom. When I leave her class my body feels energized my muscles engaged. She queues each move perfectly which instills confidence in what you are doing. Her music playlist is awesome as well. Club Pilates is always clean we have awesome clothing to wear. The different monthly workshops allow you to focus a particular piece of equipment perhaps you may not know how to work with.

I had the pleasure of visiting Crossfit Centex this weekend (from Austin) for a training session…read morewith their staff - whihc includes Olympic weightlifter Chad Vaughn. The gym itself is in a collection of garages behind a Wal-Mart, but has quite a bit of space inside and out. Pull up bars and plenty of room to run and play in the field outside, giant tires strewn about...Inside they have maximized the space by putting equipment in a small separate room and building the oly platforms right into the floor. I suspect this may be the only CF box in Belton, but if I were an athlete in Temple, I'd get my butt here pronto - it's an A+ facility for Crossfit that has just added an elite element for weightlifting.

I was visiting from out of town and decided to drop in for a class…read more I called the gym prior to dropping in to find out if I needed to arrive earlier than the class time listed on the website to loosen up or if it was okay to arrive at the class time listed. Showing up at the time the class is listed is fine. You are actually warmed up by an instructor prior to the workout. The instructor for the 1930 class on Monday was Tony. He warmed us up with some light kettle bell swings. He also cooled us down after the workouts as well. Both of these add a bit of community to the gym which is nice. Prior to the workout, I heard the dreaded "find a partner." I say dreaded because I was the new person! I didn't want to be the person standing awkwardly alone in the corner. :D Luckily that was not the case! I was quickly snagged by a friendly person. She was hella strong too! :D The workouts were challenging. This night there were two workouts. I don't know if that is the norm or not. The class size was about 12 people and there was one instructor. Fit and Strong is how I would describe members of the class. Everyone was positive and encouraging. The gym had a good vibe and I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to drop in.
