I've had a recent experience where the coach was so engaged in conversation and kept stepping away, that the tempo of the workout was incorrect for much of the class. I'd suggest working on a more approachable staff, who can greet members with a smile and deliver less attitude.

If you haven't been before, I highly recommend doing one of the trials. They have always been very easy to communicate with about billing and memberships and renewals, and all that. You can't say that for most gyms! Be aware that every day of the week has a different style of workout -- so if you were looking for cardio, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday are going to be very cardio forward. If you were looking for strength, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday will be your friend. The coaches here have always been amazing and they really feel like friends! They have all been amazing, but Coach Lo and Coach Perla and Coach DeMarcus and Coach Gesus were very formative for me as I was embarking upon my fitness journey. This F45 is awesome!

I chose the 3-day trial option with some friends to see how it would be. I'm primarily doing the evening classes. Before I came to my first class, I received a call from the instructor to see if I had any questions for the upcoming class. For someone who was out of shape, the instructors have always been great at helping encourage me and guiding me with proper form in exercises. Before my second/third class, I received another call to see if I had any questions. Classes have to be signed up for either on the mobile app or website. Instruction takes place promptly where at least two instructors (with one main instructor) guiding the class through a set of exercises. Classes are anywhere from 45 minutes to 60 minutes. Each day has its own set of exercises/breaks, and is different from other days. Each location also has its own prices and any packages are specific to that location. After my trial, I selected the 10 class package which expires in a year. This allows me flexibility to try the classes I want to try even if it's at a slightly higher price. I'm going to make it a point to try the classes I want and in the future, if necessary, get either the monthly/unlimited package. I recommend anyone who's wanting to try F45 come to this location for the fantastic instructors/customer service they have.

Jerome was the instructor (and the owner here), and is very patient with new people and just correcting form in general. People tend to lose their form when they get tired (myself def included), and he was there mainly at the bags helping my friends and I out and making sure we weren't approaching it in a poor fashion. I believe most of the people here are regulars, so its got a pretty "familial" feel. My one note is about the cleanliness- the gloves stink! I'd bring my own and get past that though. You can get a better deal if you buy packages at the Jym directly instead of online, so call ahead!

I decided to check it out because I was looking for a more intense workout, on top of the swim classes already take. I signed up for a one-day free class, and I was absolutely hooked! This is a full body workout and you will get a really, REALLY, good sweat. If you decide to continue beyond the one day free trial, there is a 30 day intro option which is about $39. If you decide to do it continuously it's about $60 a month. Yes, you heard me right! You get a quality work out AND it's affordable. I've tried doing title boxing and I love kickboxing, but their prices are insanely high for the average spender. Once you're signed up classes are unlimited, and you can pretty much come anytime during the week when they're open. Jerome is the instructor/owner and he's really good about helping you get going. DON'T feel intimidated. There are people of all levels in the classes, the most important thing is to keep moving and to keep hitting the bag. If you can't do a certain exercise you can always alternate it for something else. I like it because it's not all boxing, but other exercises incorporated into it as well. I definitely recommend you give this a try. If you don't feel the class is for you, then don't worry. There will be no one trying to harass you into buying something you don't want. I plan to continue on a monthly basis. :)

However, the dumbbells only go up to 75lbs and there are no free weights (when I last went), so to advance in strength training is rather difficult. This location particularly has a less than consistent hygiene routine. Dirty equipment, dirty floors, dirty in general, really needs a good scrubbing. To cancel your membership is a rabbit hole of call this location, visit this person, sign here, and by the way you followed the instructions and we can see that you did, but we did not finalize the transaction in our computer. So we just kept charging you. I went in person visiting this location to cancel my multiple year membership, due to moving to a location where a gym is not easily accessible. Was told it was handled and good luck on your move. (2024) Months later still being charged, called the location here in Plano, instructed to call the gym I signed up at originally. Did so instructed to reach back out to Plano. Did so, emailed a confirmation of cancellation. (early 2025) Months Later still getting charged. Called in again sent down the steps previously, with one addition. Text confirmation to x phone number. Texted confirmation to said number. (mid 2025) Finally 2026 is here. Reviewing my bank statements, the charge is still there. I followed their instructions multiple times so went to contact corporate, good luck on that one. Probably easier to get a hold of Musk cell phone than a number for their main office. But you can call the billing company they use. The billing company will not assist you unless you want to update a credit card for their files. finally after many going back and forth with conversation of filling a complaint to the BBB and T-AG for business practices, I get some attention in this matter. I provide the information stated in this review. The owner Sandra, informed by manager of this location, they review (assuming with the time gap in conversation) and denied any reimbursement. This particular facility is owned and operated as a franchise, this franchisee is a true capitalist at all cost, charge every penny you can while providing the minimal amount of services to comply with franchise by laws. If you can access another gym in your local area do so, it is very easy to transfer your account apparently. Just go to another gym a few times and your account magically transfers.
