Every time I visit, I am pleasantly surprised by the relief I feel afterward. The staff always provides individualized care tailored to my specific muscular imbalances. Because I train hard and often, I have several old injuries and overactive muscles. I've visited this location multiple times with different problem areas, and I always leave feeling better and performing better. In particular Jade was very open to alternative stretches when working my hips. I was harboring a groin strain at the time so it was a little difficult for me to relax but she was very cautious, comforting, and effective. Omari had experience working with athletes and was able to get into my traps and chest more than any other person I've had work on me. He also seemed to know exactly what minor adjustments were needed for me to get into my hamstrings. Keante comes from the PT world and was also very intuitive, especially around my neck. He even gave me some new stretches that I could do on my own that have been really helping with my tight quads and obliques. I stretch on my own just about every day but not like this. I recommend that everyone treat themselves to a stretch from the Stretch Lab as often as their life permits. read more

I went to this StretchLab on a recent visit to the area and I was a bit of a skeptic about it at first. My stretcher was gentle but still pushed my muscles enough to feel energized, stretching areas I can't really get to well with walking and yoga. It was relaxing and at the same time strenuous, and my stretcher explained all the muscles and joints she was working on. Felt so much looser and less tight afterwards. if you want to go to a business where everybody is smiling and happy go to stretch lab if you wanna go there because you need some stretch do not waste your time. They don't know anything and they just keep moving some arms and legs without asking or knowing what to do. You should go to true professionals. After leaving a bad review, King the manager or owner reached out to me by email which I am not at all obliged to respond to. He offered me a free service in exchange for removing the yelp review which is against yelp policy. When I was booked nothing was said to me by text saying I needed to leave credit card information on file. I recently had my card information stolen at a hair salon that practices the same leave a card on file policy leaving me fighting with the bank to reverse charges. I was not okay with that and my session was cancelled which I would have willingly paid for in person. I get your policy is there to discourage no shows, however not everyone wants their identity lingering in a business. I have been stalked by my linked in where this manager/owner found out where I worked and left a libelous review on the hospital's site. He has harassed me via text and email for not getting his way. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said. I had a really frustrating experience with StretchLab that I think others should be aware of. What was presented as an introductory session ended up leading into a membership commitment that wasn't clearly explained upfront. The sales process felt misleading, and once I realized what I had signed up for, it was extremely difficult to resolve. I tried to dispute the charges and work it out directly, but got nowhere. I ended up being charged around $1,000 for services I didn't fully understand I was committing to. The actual stretching service itself may be fine, but the way memberships and billing are handled is something I would strongly caution people about. Make sure you fully understand what you're agreeing to before signing anything. Just sharing this so others don't end up in the same situation. read more

I've been going to this particular StretchLab for more than five years. It all started when my wife gave me a gift certificate to this location probably one of the best gifts she's ever given me. Everyone here is fantastic from Rachel at the front desk, who always greets you with an incredible smile and personality, always available to help you schedule your next appointment or help you choose a plan to enroll in. King, the manager is great. Helped me to transition from my healthcare sponsored program to an in-house program that was equally beneficial and cost effective. The star for me is Gracie, my hero! No matter what condition I am when I arrive for my appointment. I always feel 100% better when I leave. Gracie's knowledge of the human anatomy and the muscle groups is clearly one of her strengths along with a caring and compassionate personality. I only need to tell Gracie what is bothering me and within minutes into my session I'm already starting to feel better. I am enrolled in the (4) 25 minute sessions per month program, which works great for me. The best part is there is flexibility, yes pun intended, you can change up your sessions as you need each months. I can do (2) 25 minute sessions and (1) 50 minute or (2) 50 minute sessions if I feel I need longer sessions during a particular month. read more

I was coming here weekly for a few months after being referred to by a friend I spoke with who was a professional athlete; I mentioned to him the stretches I was doing on my own after my workouts simply weren't enough for me. I started coming here, King set me up so easily with the best staff. Sunday morning I went to get an amazing stretch with James, my girlfriend tried booking it sooner, but he wasn't available for 3 weeks. My distracted mind made me forget the time of the stretch, called front desk and I had the pleasure to speak with Rachel, she was a great communicator and helped by reminding me my appointment time and where I could park  Upon entry, the front desk was very polite and friendly , which also happened to be the GM of the studio. James was an amazing flexologist, he remembered my injuries from the last session I had at this StretchLab studio. Natalie and Yezica have been my previous flexologists, also very qualified, caring and with hardly any openings. James was attentive to detail and focused on me not feeling any pain while still getting an amazing stretching on my legs and back (I got in a car crash two weeks ago).  After the amazing 1 hour session I felt like brand new. What a waste of time. I made an appt and was bombarded by emails and calls to confirm. The day of my appt they tell me they're switching my stretch therapist and time. I said "no" and rescheduled. Then again, bombarded with emails and calls, only to have them call me the day of and say the stretch therapist wasn't coming in and they need to reschedule. This was all the info I needed to cancel and go elsewhere. These aren't real therapists, they're more like Uber or post mate employees who don't take it seriously and show up only when they want. The StretchLab on Beverly is my favorite new place of 2023. If you've never done this before, it's an hour long session with a trained professional, and they gently stretch every muscle in your body. The first time that I went to the StretchLab on Beverly, my husband and I went in together, and we randomly chose our stretch professionals. It turned out that both flexologists were fantastic. I go to the same person every time, and so does my husband. They were both that good. The facility has a modern, clean aesthetic, and a relaxing vibe. I started coming here at the recommendation of a good friend, who found it useful for chronic pain. I don't have pain or specific injuries, but I do have the worst tension under my left scapula. I've had Thai ladies dig into it to no avail. I'm sure it's my own bad posture and habits. I've been coming for a few months now. Although I can't say the tension has resolved, I do continue to find sessions useful, sometimes in surprising ways. Who knew my pecs, shoulders, and neck were also contributing to that tension under my scapula? I also want to improve my posture overall since my shoulders tend to hunch forward. And I did seem to notice some increase in my stride length after working on my lower body. I'm only a casual jogger so it hadn't crossed my mind before, but I'm sure it'd make a difference in more athletic folks. TLDR; give it a try and see if it's a good fit, especially if you have injuries, range of motion issues, or chronic pain. read more
