Our family went to StretchZone for over two years. They were wonderful. The new owner Jeanna Joger is a poor manager and less experienced in business and leadership skills. She didn't like the feedback that StretchZone one has her as a stretcher for some time. It takes two weeks to get an appoint. I knew I should had followed my first gut instinct that this place was not the right place for me, because it wasn't. I was in for 130pm appointment and was told that it was 1130am. If my appointment was at 1130am, I'd been there at 1130am, but I made it for 130pm, but they wouldn't take responsibility for it. Thanks for wasting my precious time as it's my only day off until next Friday and I had tons of stuff lined up to do today. It's been EXTREMELY difficult to make appointments on their mobile app(very frustrating)as it was all messed up as they listed all these available appointments, but when I click on them, they weren't available. LOL) The receptionist(unfriendly, lacking basic manners and no respect for elders)asked if I wanted to reschedule for next week(I paid for whole month and next week is still month of July), but she helped another male client and never got back to me, so I didn't say anything. I guess they're gonna keep my $50 and that's it. She(the receptionist with no basic manners and has no respect for elders, the worst kind. I would never hire this type of people)asked if I had another card(all my cards are blocked and I unblock them if I need to use them and block them again), because it was "declined". I told her I would get it situated for the next couple of days(I didn't want to renew it, because I wasn't sure). She gave me a cold stare if looks could kill, I'd be dead. The female therapist, Samantha(she was nice), but she, too, said my card was declined in front of another client and it was embarrassing. She tried to pass me onto someone else, but I declined, because I don't want male therapists. Then this elderly female client of theirs chimed in the conversation(totally none of her business, but I kept my mouth shut)and said to me,"Are you sure you don't want him to stretch you?" and I said I don't want strange men touching me. I really like Samantha, but she said she's not available today, so I said ok. It's like she's doing me a favor or something, but she's not. I'm(was)a paying client. She said she'd have a GM call me on Monday to talk to me and I asked her about what and she said about cancelling the contract. But I already decided not to come back here anyway because of this appointment mix up and the way I was treated like I was a charity case and embarrass me in public in the name of almighty dollars(I didn't appreciate)I was so angry and fed up now. I felt as though I wasn't treated right at this establishment. Today, I felt very uncomfortable and I will not frequent an establishment who lacks diversity and the staff treat me with disrespect and like a chopped liver. I will try StretchLab instead. Maybe, I will be treated with respect, not embarrass me in public and won't give me cold stare to make me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome and force unreasonable rules and hound me about declined credit card. Btw,the receptionist never say "hi, how are you?" or "Have a nice day!" Nothing!!! Very unfriendly and borderline rude in my opinion. I've been coming to the Stretch Zone for over a month. At first I was skeptical because I wondered what could be accomplished in thirty minutes. After the sessions my question was answered. My balance improved tremendously and my issue with limping has also improved. I am now going on a regular basis. The area is clean and safety is a priority. Disappointing. I came across this and thought it might be a great replacement for my massage membership since my therapist had a baby and left, so I filled out their form and they started texting me to schedule a "Complimentary first stretch." You can see the text messages below- clearly said "Complimentary." Today I had a free evening, so when they offered the 7:30 time I was excited! I thought they might be in a session so I tried to call, but the number texting me "doesn't exist" so I thought I'd drive over and take them up on the offered 7:30 stretch. When I walked in there were three therapusts stretching clients, and not one of them acknowledged me. No "hello, be right with you," "How can we help you" or even a smile. It's not that big of a room, so it was pretty obvious I'd just walked in. It was super uncomfortable, but I assumed they were all just working and sat down to wait. It's an open room with a half wall, so I could hear all three therapists talking to each other and their clients, and I just awkwardly sat there looking at my phone, wondering how awkward it would be to get up and walk back out...but small room!! So I stayed. After a couple of minutes went by, another woman (obviously a client since they knew her by name) walked in and was immediately greeted by the therapists, she walked through the room and went into a back room to change, and I heard one of the therapists say " yeah, she was scheduled for earlier, but couldn't make it, so I just put her into that 7:30 slot." Ummm...uh oh. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later, at 7:30, a young woman came around the corner and said "you must be the one I was texting..." at the same time I said " Hi! I was texting with someone about a 7:30 appointment?" She said " you'll be stretching with me because no one else is open." Umm...thanks for selling it so well.... She asked what I wanted to work on and I said "well, I've never done this, so I'm open to whatever the process is.. It's my first time. " she responded that she always asks first, and then mumbled something about "So you're a walk in...we'll do payment after we get this done." I hesitated for a second, then said "I'm sorry?" She repeated "we will do payment after the stretch." Uh. No. I politely said " I was told this was complimentary the first time? " and she suddenly changed her tone. "Oh, you need a consult, and I can't do that. There's no one who can do that tonight. You'll have to schedule it." So why the heck did you offer to have me come in? Why didn't you say that when I walked in? You are the ones who texted me multiple times to come in for a "complimentary first stretch..." but I am 100% sure she would have been happy to do the "stretch" and then expect me to pay even though she screwed up. Instead they let me sit there for 15 minutes without acknowledging me, then tried to make the appointment a different thing and charge me. Top to bottom this was a disappointment. It felt unprofessional, undertrained, and impersonal. It felt like a bait and switch ("come in for a free session" but really we are going to charge you.) As I said, disappointing because it IS so close to home and I would have loved to find a place for stretching! Sigh... stay away. read more

I cannot stand the use of the straps. It confines me and it takes half of my paid session to maneuver the straps. Please eliminate them.

I love this location it is in a cool plaza next to a lot of neat restaurants and craft shops in love the loft/basement feel of the venue. I got here quite a bit and have never been disappointed the staff is super friendly and very communicative on what exactly I would like to work on and what body parts each and every visit. The front desk staff is super friendly as well anytime I'm running late or need to make an adjustment to my schedule they are willing to help and work with me as long as I communicate. Jeremy is a great practitioner there as well I use him the most but every single practitioner there has been very friendly and always says hi when they see me again. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a place to increase your mobility, injury prevention, or help with soreness definitely try out Stretch Zone if you haven't yet. read more

The stretch is great. The "assessment" got us hooked and we bought the recommended big package. We have hardly ever been able to get back in. They are booked for days and weeks. This may be great for people who know their schedule 3 weeks ahead but NOT for a busy family. The place is great just impossible to get in for their services. read more

Mobility has been an issue for me ever since I suffered back injuries due to a wreck years ago. I've done everything from massage, physical therapy, chiropractic, you name it. I first learned of Stretch Zone through a coworker and he told me they give new customers a free trial. With nothing to lose I went to try it out. I've been going to the Plano location for well over a year and absolutely love the results I'm getting. Truly believe flexibility is key to overall health. I love the stretch people I use there. But now that they have 6 tables in there, the volume can go off the charts. I can't even hear my stretcher talking sometimes. While I realize this would be completely opposite, seems like it would be nice for it to be quieter, like a spa, allowing for concentration on the body instead of what they're going to eat next or what movies they like. I have to really focus during stretching to get the maximum value and guard against going too far resulting in injury. Can be very distracting in there. But I have to say, stretching feels SO good. read more

Interesting and helpful concept. Noticed being really stiff as I increased my cycling distance. Tried stretching myself and results were slow. Gave stretch zone a try. It is a little pricey and I have found there is a bit more variation between therapists than I would like (not in a terrible way), but I have noticed very positive results in my first month. I wish they would make the sessions 45 minutes. 30 seems I little short to get the basics and then a few specific areas. Overall though, I am pretty much a fan and expect the results to continue to be positive. read more
