Disappointing. I came across this and thought it might be a great replacement for my massage membership since my therapist had a baby and left, so I filled out their form and they started texting me to schedule a "Complimentary first stretch." You can see the text messages below- clearly said "Complimentary." Today I had a free evening, so when they offered the 7:30 time I was excited! I thought they might be in a session so I tried to call, but the number texting me "doesn't exist" so I thought I'd drive over and take them up on the offered 7:30 stretch. When I walked in there were three therapusts stretching clients, and not one of them acknowledged me. No "hello, be right with you," "How can we help you" or even a smile. It's not that big of a room, so it was pretty obvious I'd just walked in. It was super uncomfortable, but I assumed they were all just working and sat down to wait. It's an open room with a half wall, so I could hear all three therapists talking to each other and their clients, and I just awkwardly sat there looking at my phone, wondering how awkward it would be to get up and walk back out...but small room!! So I stayed. After a couple of minutes went by, another woman (obviously a client since they knew her by name) walked in and was immediately greeted by the therapists, she walked through the room and went into a back room to change, and I heard one of the therapists say " yeah, she was scheduled for earlier, but couldn't make it, so I just put her into that 7:30 slot." Ummm...uh oh. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later, at 7:30, a young woman came around the corner and said "you must be the one I was texting..." at the same time I said " Hi! I was texting with someone about a 7:30 appointment?" She said " you'll be stretching with me because no one else is open." Umm...thanks for selling it so well.... She asked what I wanted to work on and I said "well, I've never done this, so I'm open to whatever the process is.. It's my first time. " she responded that she always asks first, and then mumbled something about "So you're a walk in...we'll do payment after we get this done." I hesitated for a second, then said "I'm sorry?" She repeated "we will do payment after the stretch." Uh. No. I politely said " I was told this was complimentary the first time? " and she suddenly changed her tone. "Oh, you need a consult, and I can't do that. There's no one who can do that tonight. You'll have to schedule it." So why the heck did you offer to have me come in? Why didn't you say that when I walked in? You are the ones who texted me multiple times to come in for a "complimentary first stretch..." but I am 100% sure she would have been happy to do the "stretch" and then expect me to pay even though she screwed up. Instead they let me sit there for 15 minutes without acknowledging me, then tried to make the appointment a different thing and charge me. Top to bottom this was a disappointment. It felt unprofessional, undertrained, and impersonal. It felt like a bait and switch ("come in for a free session" but really we are going to charge you.) As I said, disappointing because it IS so close to home and I would have loved to find a place for stretching! Sigh... stay away.

I cannot stand the use of the straps. It confines me and it takes half of my paid session to maneuver the straps. Please eliminate them.

WARNING about cancellation and billing at EōS Fitness…read more If you are thinking about joining this gym, please read this first. My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything.

I was clearly told not to worry and to go ahead and work out. Now, three months later, I receive a letter saying I owe $112, and suddenly the story is: You signed it, so you have to pay. $150 is not the issue. The issue is accountability. I trusted your staff when they admitted the mistake and assured me it would be corrected. After multiple calls, instead of taking responsibility, I'm being spoken to as if this is my fault for signing something your employee gave me incorrectly. If this isn't dishonest behavior, then what do you call it? Very disappointed in how this was handled. This is not how a professional business operates.

It's a big, well lit, still-has-that-new-smell kind of place, with tons of new equipment and nary an out-of-order sign to be seen on our most recent visit. We only briefly interacted with the staff, and they were friendly and greeted us warmly. I briefly darted into the locker area to use the men's room, it was clean and well stocked. As for the equipment, I'm all about the "put on the headphones and hit the pin-loaded weight machines", and that's what I did. This gym has a couple of machines that our usual one doesn't, so that was a nice change of pace. If there's a downside, there's only one pec fly/deltoid machine, and since it does two exercises, it's always in high demand, and I had to wait for two others to do their reps. The McKinney location has two of these, and there's often still a wait. We also hit the ellipticals for a few minutes to warm up, and they were super clean and new as well. As always, we closed out our workout with the Hydromassage, and even with four chairs, there was a brief wait, but no biggie. Bottom line, this is a super clean, well lit, well managed gym with no judgment and plenty of options for your workout.
