I have been to the YaYa spa about 4-5 times now. The main treatment that I get is the 60 min…read morereflexology. The treatment is relaxing. They start by having you put your feet in warm water which is very relaxing. You get the reflexology done in a dimly lit room on a small bed next to other beds with clients beside you. They started by massaging my neck, shoulders, arms and hands. They eventually made their way to my feet and calves. They end the massage with hot towels & warm stones. *They accept walks- ins which is nice when you're in the mood for a spontaneous foot massage* Cons: 1.) The towels they use to dry your legs and feet off with are really rough and hurt a bit. 2.) the one time I got a full body massage instead of reflexology was really rushed. It was in a tiny room, the masseuse scratched my back to the point where it bled (it was an elderly lady so maybe she couldn't see?) The massage was terrible. I would only go for reflexology 3.) the reflexology room is shared with many clients so it's very communal. The only downside is some clients are not mindful and not courteous. Yesterday, a man's phone kept going off very loudly. Not to mention he was talking loud and fell asleep and started snoring extra loud. Some people really can't read the room. But the prices are really good! It's a nice treat once in a while. The customer service is always good too.

I've done 5 visits here so far…read more I've been seen and treated by both Dr. Mike Surdis and Dr. Cherry. Both do a fantastic job aligning your vertebrae to release pressure that has built up on your nerves. For me, the issue is my neck and lower back. My treatment plan consists of a 40 minute problem area massage with a massage therapist working with the soft tissues in my back and neck to achieve pain relief. The massage is not as thorough as others I've had at other offices. Next, is the quick stretch and about 20 minutes or so of electrotherapy with a therapist. Lastly is the manual adjustment with the doctor. The staff is friendly. Nice seating area with TV's and magazines. They also have complimentary coffee. The office is big with many treatment rooms. At times, you are sharing the room with another patient. I understand that they are a busy practice but the bathroom needs paint and some cleaning. I have been very happy with the latest treatment I received from Dr. Cherry. He always has time to check in on how you feel, how the last treatment worked and to address and discuss any concerns you may have. He is a great listener and has impeccable bedside manner.

She asks questions before our massage to address any stiffness, sore muscles, and I can testify that she can reach much deeper than just the physical touch. {Monica massages our souls!} Sweet lady with an adorable personality, has GIFTED ABILITIES, very professional, steady & strong hands, plus she makes things easy for us: from setting up the appointments via text msgs, to fitting us in, speaking several languages, accepting credit cards, finding availability at odd times. Everything is very accessible with Monica, and she tries really hard to accommodate our needs. We feel very safe in her office. Her presence alone can be very calming! The room is small, there isn't any luxury, however it is always NEAT, CLEAN, & COMFORTABLE. She adds zen music, but even without any sound, HER MASSAGES are TRANSFORMING: from invigorating, to relaxing, to soothing as Monica is versed in Reiki, lymphatic massages, Swedish massages, deep tissue massages, and etc... My TIP to customers is : come with an open mind, and let her aura work the magic, while her hands get busy removing all the kinks in our bodies! Worth the money, worth the time! You deserve it!

Monica applies enough pressure to each of the affected areas without making me feel in pain which is great for people who have a low pain tolerance. The spa itself is clean, quiet, and very relaxing. My only complaint is the checkout process. It's uncomfortable having the masseuse stand there watching while you're deciding how much to tip. On top of that, there's a sign suggesting tip amounts up to $50. It feels like unnecessary pressure and takes away from what was otherwise a great experience. Tipping should feel voluntary, not intimidating. Makes me feel like they are not paying the masseuse. If they changed the checkout process to give customers more privacy, the experience would be close to perfect. I'd still return because the massages are that good.
