After shoulder surgery in September 2025 to repair a torn rotator cuff and detached bicep, I was…read morefortunate enough to have Meghan Boudreaux and Michael Oscarson at Select Physical Therapy on 41st Street in Miami Beach guide my recovery -- and I cannot say enough good things about this exceptional team.
Within a week after surgery, they had my therapy protocol up and running. From day one, it was clear I was in the hands of professionals who are not only highly skilled, but also genuinely invested in their patients' outcomes. Smart, disciplined, thoughtful, and creative are the words that come to mind when I think of Meghan and Michael.
What truly set them apart was the way they designed my program throughout the full four months of therapy. The exercises were always fresh, intentional, and engaging -- never repetitive or monotonous. I looked forward to every session because they kept me energized and motivated. More importantly, they kept me adequately free from pain and further injury throughout the entire process. As they taught me early on, discomfort during PT is part of the journey, but outright pain is not necessary to achieve great results. That philosophy made all the difference.
By the time I "graduated" from therapy, my shoulder had reached full rotation and was strong, capable, and ready for everything life demands of it. That outcome is a direct reflection of Meghan and Michael's expertise, dedication, and the personalized care they put into every single session.
