I'm not sure about the warranty on other tints they carry. I called with a few questions on a Saturday morning, Barbara answered the phone and most of my questions, however some could not be answered without my vehicle being there. She asked me to come in so she could best help me. When I arrived she remembered my name, joked that she had answers for my questions, putting me at ease even more than she did on the phone. Barbara then proceeded to answer all of my questions, told me about things I had not thought of, helped me make an informed decision about what I wanted and gave me a fair price. Cody was also very informative on the different products that they offered, even putting small samples of the two tints I was interested in on my window so I could see how they looked and metered what the visible light transmission was. He then did a great job installing my chosen tint, making sure it was done right, and providing me with proper instructions making sure I know how to care for it, and maintain it. He even recommended a tint safe glass cleaner, that is inexpensive and readily available. Matt dropped by while Cody was installing the tint, introduced himself and his friend to me, as well as invited me to go fishing with him or his Dad sometime. Everyone makes you feel like you are family or a long time friend. Matt and his staff are awesome, they are a great family business that puts customer service first! They have a nice clean showroom, waiting area, installation bays and may be able to do same day service if time and staffing allows. I was highly impressed, and that is not an easy thing to do! I highly recommend Adams Window Tinting for all of your tinting needs!!!

In doing so I have dealt with every kind of repair shop / service out there, the good, the bad and the ugly. Jonathan Weis at Jonathan's Automotive Repair is without a doubt and by far the best of the best. Jonathan's concern for the safety of travelers is evident and Oriental North Carolina is most fortunate to have access to this level of service and professionalism in automotive care. My wife and I were visiting Oriental when a mechanical issue developed with my truck. Fortunately for us we were only a block away from Jonathan's. I brought my truck to him and rode along with Jonathan on the drive to diagnose the issue. Jonathan was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem as being the front left wheel bearing / hub assembly. I requested that both the left and right assemblies be replaced to keep them in common service states, Jonathan was able to accommodate that request. In tearing down the front end hub assemblies it was observed that there were issues with the front brakes that should also be addressed. Jonathan provided photos and recommendations as to the proper repairs. I requested that the brake repairs be completed along with pinion seals in the front and rear differentials that had developed leaks. Jonathan was able to complete all requested repairs in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. The communication, workmanship and cost of service were top notch. I live over ten hours from Oriental, however when future repairs are needed for my or my wife's vehicles, if possible, I will certainly come back to enjoy Oriental's unique atmosphere and Jonathan's excellent automotive repair services. Five star, 10 out of 10 and best of the best. Thank you Jonathan! p.s. I am posting this from my wife's account.

When I dropped the truck off, Gene indicated that he was pretty sure the problem would be with the interface in the truck and he figured I would get the truck back the following day (Friday, 29 May). At 2pm Friday afternoon I called Gene's to ask about the truck and was told it wasn't the interface problem they anticipated and would require further troubleshooting. No completion estimate was provided. Called again on Monday, no update or estimate Called at 5pm Tuesday and was told higher profitable jobs got worked before my truck did and he would get mine fixed as soon as he could. I asked him if he could at least communicate with me as to the status updates... Wednesday no communication received Thursday morning at 1008am Gene sends this text... "John, just wanted to stay in touch." I walked into his shop about 2 minutes later and got the same "non-update" as on Tuesday. He did share with me that he had logged 3 hours troubleshooting over the last 7 days. I told Gene that based on his scheduling process it could take him 6 months to fix the truck... his response was along the line of...oh it won't take 6 months... Thursday noon I sent him the following text: "If you can find the time to solve the problem with our Ford F150 pickup today that would be beyond awesome! If not, I'd appreciate it if you could put her back in the condition she was in when you got her so I could settle up with you and pick her up tomorrow morning. I cannot afford to just keep hoping you will find time to solve the mystery." I called Gene's at 4pm Thursday and asked the gal that answered if they could confirm they had received my text. She indicated Gene had gotten it and his response was "no problem". On Friday morning I was told the truck was fixed. It was the interface originally thought to be the problem... $180 for parts, $600 for 4 hours labor. I'll give him credit for letting me know I was not his priority and he'd get to my truck when he could, after he already had my truck in the shop. I'll also never do business with him again and would never recommend him to anyone else for any kind of repair/troubleshooting.
