First off, Wayne is a very friendly businessman. I enjoyed speaking with him. I dropped my husband's car off to get one side window tinted for $45. Wayne matched the other tints perfectly and it only took an hour. I got my entire sedan done for $249 which was a great deal. I got the 30% tint. It took about 4 hours. Wayne has a nice little waiting area with couches, magazines, tv, coffee, and water. He has a map of what kind of tint is legal in each state. He also has a poster of the benefits of tinting. We have now had both of our cars done here. First car was a 2013 Mazda 3 speed hatchback, and they did an amazing job tinting all 5 windows. No bubbles and the dark charcoal shade he chose looks awesome with the paint color! I took my car in and agreed on a darker tinting on the back and lighter tinting across the front. When I got the car back and sun finally came out found had the same medium tinting across all the windows. COVID hit and could not take it back in but wanted others to be aware prior to taking their car home to check for this. There is a test similar to what they use for safety and inspection that recommend performing while you are there to ensure you got what you asked for. Wishing I did that. read more

I've had two opportunities to deal with Street Smart Window Tinting (SSWT), and both have been excellent experiences. The first time was to tint two windows in my house. SSWT doesn't do house window tinting, but Wayne (the manager/owner) DOES give lots of free advice so you can do it yourself. He even provided examples right there in the shop to illustrate the techniques he was talking about. I went home and took my time, following his instructions, and I ended up with some pretty sharp looking windows! More recently I needed tint for another house project (small windows in my garage door). I could have bought a huge roll of tint at Home Depot for $24. I stopped by SSWT because the shop is only a few blocks from HD and I had such a positive experience on my last project. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Not only did Wayne beat the HD price, I also ended up with tint that was much better suited to my needs (basically, a few rolled-up lengths -- more than enough for my needs -- that were 14" wide, instead of the 36" wide roll at the big box store. Folks, when you have a business that is being run as well as Wayne runs SSWT, there is no reason for customers to go anywhere else. And obviously I'm not alone...40-something Yelp reviews and still a solid 5-star average rating. Impressive, and well-earned. The one bit of advice I'd offer Wayne (if he reads this) is that he should expand his business. In the mean time, fellow Yelpers, I give SSWT my wholehearted recommendation! read more
