From the moment I walked in, the energy was high, the music was on point, and the staff made me feel welcomed and hyped instead of intimidated. Chanty is an incredible instructor super clear with her cues, motivating without being over the top, and really good at checking in and offering options whether you're new or more advanced. The mix of treadmill and floor work had my heart rate up the entire class, but the time flew by because the programming and playlist were so good. What really sealed the deal for me was the experience after class. The locker rooms and showers were spotless and perfectly equipped with everything I needed: towels, toiletries, hair products, dryers literally all the post-workout essentials so I could leave feeling refreshed and ready to go on with my day. If you're in the Aventura area and want a challenging, fun, and well-supported workout, I can't recommend Barry's Aventura enough. I'll definitely be back for more of Chanty's classes!

I found this boxing gym through ClassPass. The location is large and has a lot of personality -…read moregraffiti-covered walls, hanging bags lined up under exposed ceilings, and a full-sized ring. I attended the 7:30pm class and it was amazing - very challenging, but worth it. It started with a warm up run to the intersection 2x, followed by conditioning, and then 1:1 in the boxing ring with the instructor. The instructor was very knowledgeable, made sure I understood the fundamentals, corrected my technique, and was very encouraging. This is a very supportive gym and it definitely be back!!
