I understand some of it was out of their control since working with PG&E is a pain. At the end it felt like pulling teeth getting them to help us. It took them coming out three times to get the solar going and what really did it for me was they only powered on half of our batteries. We were wondering why our grid dependence percentage was so high and lo and behold batteries weren't even powered on! They didn't show us how to use the app and before writing this review I reached out to the owner, twice.

All the other companies I got quotes from seemed to have a less than honest approach to their sell's pitches, starting out at extremely high prices then coming down a lot on their second and third quotes. Not the case with Illum Solar. It was a fair, honest quote the first time. Illum Solar was able to get us the best interest rate out of all the companies I received from. I did a TON of research comparing the different companies and technologies. Ryan was very patient and gave me all research and data that I asked and then some. He went above and beyond to get our business. The equipment they use is top notch compared to other companies I spoke to. His team that installed our system did a clean install. The monitoring service for the system is very easy friendly and keep you up to date. Illum Solar made the process quick and easy. My system was installed and turned-on producing power "Which means saving money" in less than a week after I signed the paperwork. If you are looking for the lowest interest rates, an honest company that's looking to save you money, best quality product and your systems installed in a fast and timey mater then you need to go with Illum Solar. 5 STARS

I also received 2 responses on my original post. One homeowner recommended Simple Energy and Joe from Fuzion Energy also replied. After sending a message to Joe at Fuzion Energy, I have never heard back from him or the company. A representative from Simple Energy came by to evaluate the situation but seemed lost if the broken inverter could be replaced with a different brand / model as the broken inverter is out of production. I was getting frustrated. I managed to talk to Julio at Pro Power. He said he was booked all day but will call if an opening shows up. He called and showed up a few minutes later. Looking at the row of solar inverters, he explained what needed to be done and it was possible to use a different brand inverter to replace the broken one. Later in the evening, Julio sent me his quote which I accepted. He alerted me friday afternoon the equipment came in and asked if he could come out saturday morning to install the inverter. These guys are professional, prompt and arrived 10 minutes earlier than the appointed time. The installation was fast, it was done in about an hour. What took longer was updating the program which took about an hour or so. I would use Pro Power Solutions again if I have solar issues again. Thank you, Julio.

Then fast forward to 2023, I decide it's time to replace my car. I go to Tesla and ask a TON of questions, then I make the purchase. First, the purchase experience was easy, then a couple of service appointments later, well it's hell. Literally, the WORST! How about this for bad? My performance car had larger tires on the back, I go in to get a rotation and they put the larger tires on the front, yep! Once more for the people in the back, the larger tires are on the FRONT! It's clearly marked on the inside of the door, and it's a car, your service center is the manufacturer! And you can't read and you don't know the product. I had a rattle in the door, they gas light me and act like it's not happening. More than 5 appointments later... it's finally fixed. But when I ask them point blank, are you putting all new clips in the door when you put it back together? They say "No, only if they break." Just do it right the first time. I mean honestly I took this car in around 11 times in the 18 months I owned it. I had gas cars that I serviced less and had less issues with. Finally, they don't call you back and they just don't fix ANYTHING! No matter what or how you try to get the service, or how much you pay, they don't fix things. Do yourself a favor and get a different car from a different manufacturer. You'll have less headaches. Oh and maybe the other dealership will actually give you a ride to work, instead of acting like a luxury car payment is worth you paying for a cab or hitching a ride with friends. If you own a Tesla, take it somewhere else for service. While I loved my car, she was the best, so much fun, and I wish I could have stayed with her. But it turns out her family is just unbearable. So we broke up and now I found someone else and I couldn't be happier.

Thank you to the 3rd party contractor who got my solar system working again after Fuzion essentially held my service repair hostage. Fuzion refused to send a service technician or address my issue unless I signed a non-disclosure agreement. The reason? I left an honest review a few years ago. I was told I needed to sign the NDA and change my rating on that previous review before they would provide service in a timely manner. I paid out of pocket to have an independent contractor diagnose and repair the system. During that process he discovered several installation issues that were not up to code from Fuzion 's original installation. My experience has been that Fuzion is your best friend until the installation is complete. Once they've been paid, you're treated more like an inconvenience than a customer. Looking back, the constant management turnover should have been my first red flag. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but consumers deserve to know what happens after the sales process is over. customer service and accountability seem to disappear once the contract is signed.
