I called them up at 4pm with two hours left in their workday and they said that they would be willing to stay late if possible to fix it. I was able to get towed there fairly quickly and they actually were able to get my starter replaced and get it going back on the road again 2 minutes before closing at 6 PM. It's my first time there, but since I'm moving to Valparaiso it will probably not be my last time. They seem like a great bunch of guys there! Stellar service and customer support, and really really helped me out in a jam. Thank you so much C&C!!!

If you purchase a vehicle from here be warned you are SEVERELY overpaying. I purchased my 2017…read moreToyota Highlander from Another dealership in Lake county . I saved $5500 for the exact same vehicle/model/everything was the same. This dealership is close to my house so for maintenance I took it there. BIG Mistake! They put my tow package on crooked, and my AC wasn't working which I didn't know at the time but they passed it on my routine maintenance, I had to get the AC checked out at a separate appt two days later and they messed that up too. I'm disappointed with my Toyota in general, poor quality. Stick with Honda or another company. Either way, don't buy from Lakeshore!

I needed tires installed. Before I had them change the tires, I had another "house" mechanic…read morereplace my upper and lower ball joints. This guy quoted me a great price, so I let him install them. So Tom's replaces my tires and the mechanic came to me and said that he installed a "missing" bolt from one of the ball joints. First off, I was shocked it was missing and second, I was shocked Tom's mechanic even caught it, let alone replaced the bolt. There was no charge. The fact that he checked my suspension system and all I was having done was a couple of tires, really surprised me. But God only knows what would have happened down the road if he didn't see that bolt missing and replace it. No more "house" mechanics for me. If you want the job done right, go to Tom's. It's obvious to me now, that you get what you pay for! I'll be taking my cars to Tom's from now on.

We have been taking our vehicles to Dave's for 7 years. They are reliable, reasonable, and we…read moretrust them wholeheartedly. Back in the spring, I took my 2015 Explorer in for an oil change. They noticed a leak and said they would keep an eye on it. I took it to the dealership in July and the dealership couldn't find it. I took it back to Dave's in September and they looked at it for free, telling me exactly where the leak is. The dealership has had my car for over a week and finally found the leak. If I trusted the dealership, who knows the amount of damage that would have been done to the vehicle. I basically had to demand that the dealership fix it. The other thing I like about Dave's is they don't try and sell me anything I don't need and they only fix what is broken. I think they are also very good at prevention and knowing what might end up costing you more down the road.

Well I don't have any pictures for this review so I hope my words will be enough! In the last month…read moreI've had some car issues and the check engine light came on which because my car is an '18 it has sensors that when the check engine light goes off a whole bunch of other lights do as well. I've had issues with the sensors being out of alignment because of whatever on the road. But when my check engine light came on I knew this was something completely different. So I take it to a Honda dealer seems smart ‍. They find nothing when they do a diagnostic they asked if I had jumped my car recently (I had not) and ask some other things which I don't remember. But they said nothing is wrong now but it may be going to go out. Fine. Well a month later same thing happens this time supposedly ALL of my fuel injectors are bad. My dad is like I don't think so talked with a employee at Advanced Auto who said I had a better chance at wining the lottery than that happening. So Honda wanted to charge me about $1300 to replace them all. I knew I had an extended warranty and I was sick on the dealership by now. So I look to see where I can go and Heinold and Feller was on the list which is perfect I go to Orangetheory in Valpo it's on the way. I take it in one evening and they are going to look at it the next day. Well after someone who did a more thorough inspection looked it was not my injectors (although they did need a cleaning) one of my spark plugs was cracked. I was so just relieved at they found the actual issues. Because several people said sure they'll fix/replace the injectors but there is probably an underlying issue. Todd my sales rep was so helpful and explained everything over the phone for me. I'm not sure who my mechanic was but I really appreciate the for everything and letting me know if I still have misfiring issues to come back! I will definitely be going back for any future car needs including my oil changes. I'm sorry if this review seems more like a diss at Honda but Heinold found what Honda missed probably twice. And they clearly know their cars and they take care of you! High recommend!

He does my husband's oil changes as well. We recently had a different issue going on with his car. He had to leave it to have them check it but that's not abnormal. They fixed it up and everything is going great. On the sticker they put in your car they don't put the milage you need to have it changed, they put the milage from the date of the oil change. Do the math no problem, I like seeing the milage from when I brought it in. I've had Hyundai Elantras since 2013 and they never had an issue changing my oil. The value is fine, prices are decent, it's not jiffy lube. I would rather use a local business. I'm not sure how one reviewer thought they could get an oil change AND tire rotation for 30.00 Tire rotation can run by itself anywhere from 20-50 sometimes more depending on the car. Make a better choice. If you buy your tires from a tire place typically they will just do your rotation for free.
