I am constantly driving by this place and I have been wanting to try it. I finally had the courage to stop and go inside on a Saturday morning lol. As soon as I walked in, I received a "hello!" "welcome!" and a happy, cheerful smile. Immediately, I felt so welcomed. As I was waiting for my food and my coffee, I heard them say hello to every single person that walked in. I was able to talk to the cashier and get some recommendations and ask her a bunch of questions. I decided to try the lavender vanilla latte, which is a seasonal drink. Wow! I am completely obsessed with the lavender vanilla latte. It was smooth, creamy, delicious, vibrant! I got a sandwich, and it was good, but not the best, so I may have to try a different food item. While I waited, I took a look around. They have gorgeous plants hanging, the decor, the atmosphere, everything about this place is just magnificent. People were sitting down, drinking and talking. One minor setback is the lack of bathrooms. Everyone was cheerful and joyous. Who cares about the sandwich, the coffee was incredibly amazing! I cannot stop thinking about the coffee, and the barista was welcoming every single person that walked in. I cannot stop raving about their coffee. Please do yourself a favor and visit their cafe on your way to the beach.

Strawberry Patch Cafe had changed ownership by a couple about a year ago. This is a cozy little cafe with cute retro decor and comfy seating indoors and outdoors. It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The service is friendly, the food quantity is impressive, and the coffee drinks are delicious -- though you may have to wait a bit because there is usually only one person working the espresso bar and there is often a line of customers (a good "problem")! I enjoyed my visit and look forward to bringing more friends and family here!

    Extra charges

First time trying this cafe out. Ordered two medium matcha lattes with sugar free vanilla syrup and soft top. Drinks were good a little on the sweet side. Service was good, place is nice and spacious if you prefer to eat inside. Prices are a little on the higher side, only thing we didn't get charged on was the ice! Paid almost $20 bucks for the two medium drinks. I know small businesses have rent to pay but seems like getting charged extra to use a debit card is extreme. Not sure why the extra charge for the medium cups plus .20 for the actual cup

Had a delightful breakfast two days in a row. Had not visited since it was Ella's and pleased to see how popular it's become. Love the relaxed and comfy ambience and design. The Moss Landing Wrap was delicious in red tortilla with good amount of filling. Saved 1/2 for later. I like my coffee dark and full bodied and their Dark Roast fit the bill. Next day I chose the breakfast Panini with sausage and next time will try the spinach / basil option. The crisp and thin bread was perfectly enveloping for the egg mixture. This time I also tried the Breakfast blend coffee and it was smooth and strong enough ( or not too weak as I describe). The service is helpful and cheerful ... very cheerful.

I have ordered from here twice in the past, the first time was a couple of months ago (April or june) and now today. I ordered off of DoorDash today, the coffee is really bad. Typically I would just doctor it up to make it good but it tastes like the most watered down coffee I've ever had and DoorDash won't give me anything back. I am sure they have other things that are wonderful and maybe I'll try those on another occasion but I will not order this again. 3 stars for now, I'll be back to try some food next time.

Loved the iced coffee and paninis. Brought our dog! Can't wait to come back. Stellar service too!

I love everything about this cafe. I order something different every time I come, and everything I've had had been amazing! Today I got the jasmine loose leaf tea and it was perfect, and came in an adorable strawberry themed mug! I've also had the Mex Mocha, the Patch burrito, the bagels, the orange juice, and various flavors of oatmilk lattes. Everything is yummy and always served in a cute glass (clearly that part is very important to me) Not only are the food and drinks very good, but the place itself is cute and cozy and it's NOT minimalistic like all of the new cafes trying to copy boring LA hipster culture. It has a nice small town feel. Finally, the staff is so friendly, sweet and attentive! This is my new favorite place to bring a friend, or just come and do some work. Wi-fi is free and fast. Come support this local business!

What happened here? People trust this place to get a nice meal, only for your employees to burn it and then serve this. Disappointing.

It's not the first time I come to this Cafe. One of my favorite places, but today they disappointed. My sandwich was burnt and they still had the audacity to wrap it up and give it to me. It was a to-go order, so seeing this poor burnt victim was a bummer. Do better Strawberry Patch people. Your customers deserve better.

If you're considering it, I highly recommend this place! We stopped here for a late lunch, and the staff were very welcoming. It's a charming little café off the beaten path, but easily accessible if you're a local. The sandwiches were five-star quality, and the fresh-pressed pomegranate lemonade was incredibly flavorful. If I lived here, it would definitely be a daily stop for me.

Very cute! Yummy food and good prices. The matcha comes sweetened which was not ideal but still tasty. Love the strawberry theme! Quick service as well

    Iced caramel pecan latte

The breakfast sandwiches are amazing! Very friendly service and the coffee is so delicious definitely one of my favorite cozy cafes in the area.

This the Croissant Florentine and their season Carmel pecan latè

10 / 10 recommend this place. It's so cute. The employees are really sweet as well. The food and drinks are really good. Great place to study or to bring your friends for a date day.

It's been awhile since I last passed through and stopped in the town I grew up in. So glad we had some free time. The perfect Sunday lunch spot for my wife and I. On the end of a small strip mall is this fantastic sandwich shop/coffee house/dessert case/ wine bar with a happy hour and they squeeze in some breakfast burritos. I'm thinking beer garden in the outside space in the back...what? To much...yeah maybe. My cappuccino was delicious followed up with ham and apple sandwich with melted cheese and stone ground mustard. All my taste buds were in peaceful harmony, everything just kinda worked together. My wife's turkey sandwich was just as nice as was her iced lavender latte. We ended our lunch with a shared slice of lemon mascarpone cake. We scraped the plate. The place was clean and the service was more than polite, good job all around. A true diamond. Last words...not tacos again!

We like to support local family run businesses and the food has been good in the past. The wait staff are consistently friendly and mostly competent. We've been pleased that when asked about gluten-free options each time, the waiters know about 90% of the menu off the top of their heads and aren't afraid to say they need to ask the kitchen when there's an item they're not sure about, rather than guess the answer, as has happened at other restaurants. Saturday we had a group of 8 that were seated at 4:45, so not exactly rush hour. We finally had to ask for water after 15 min. It was close to an hour from when we placed our orders before the food began arriving. I had informed the waiter of an onion allergy and requested no onions anywhere on the plate, as well as subbing extra veggies for the pasta. My food arrived with onions throughout the veggies. While I appreciate that they quickly took the plate back to fix it, the new plate had only a single serving of veggies which were so undercooked that even with the steak knife if was difficult to cut, and not great to chew either. I quickly gave up and saved it to finish cooking at home. Another guest ordered the tuna fresh catch rare, and it arrived between medium and medium rare, which was quite disappointing. But at least his veggies were closer to al dente. Another small irritation was that they brought out bread and olive oil, but there were only 5 pieces for our group of 8 so we asked for another one for our end of the table, and they charged us. While we recognized many staff as longtime employees, both the food and the service didn't live up to previous visits, which is even more disappointing because we brought new people to experience their food. Given this experience, it'll probably be awhile before we go back.

We came here last night for a big birthday celebration ( party of 9). We had some good things and some things that felt not so good. The good: several dishes were great, short rib raviolis, bolognese pasta, pizza. We appreciated the vegan and gf options which they take seriously since apparently a member of the family has celiac as well. So they understand the seriousness. (unfortunately the muscles were extremely fishy) The frustrating stuff: After we spent over $500, I had a cookie box out because we were going to sing happy birthday and pass out cookies. Waitress informs us there a per person cake cutting fee. I said oh no, I'm just passing out cookies, she say oh there's still a fee. Wow!!!! First of all there's no cake to cut, refrigerate, no extra plates or silverware to wash. It made the closure part of our celebration so awkward. We went into the parking lot, sang and had a cookie. We chose your restaurant to celebrate, spend $500 and you want more money to pass out a cookie that I brought! We sat outside, was hot in the tent, we were sweating. We asked about another fan but were told there was no outlet by our table (another table had a fan). I would suggest a simple extension cord so everyone can feel comfortable.

He was patient and knew the menu, and offered options when he saw our reactions as we tried to decide. The chef even walked out and offered to make the bolognese from scratch and omit the mushrooms. From start to finish the whole Mangia team was great, and it made me happy to see how they treated one another. The dishwasher came up a few times to swap the trays and everyone got along, and I noticed the chef made them each something to eat as the restaurant was closing. As for the food, good Salinas option. The Nonna appetizer was a bruschetta with pistacho, fresh ricotta, and honey. Delicious. Beet salad was good, hearty beets, mixed greens, and balsamic. It was over dressed for my taste, but hubby loved it. I wasn't a huge fan the cheese they used, it was a harder salty cheese in small cubes. I got the penne with a really subtle lemon cream sauce, grilled chicken, and broccoli. Came out hot and it was a generous portion, waiter offered some fresh cheese so took that of course. I'd order it again, but don't think it was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Chicken Parmesan was cooked fresh, and came with the penne and marina. In my opinion the marina was under seasoned, but I'm generally heavy on the garlic and basil. I don't know I'd label it as a culinary hot spot, but the food was good, and made by good people. I appreciate the atmosphere and we will definitely be back.
