The ad for Live Oak Plumbing and the review led me to believe they were the best for the broken frozen pipe I had. When I called them, a recorded message stated they only do new home repair. not any of the other things they advertised. Needless to say I had to find somebody else quick as it has already been several days with no running water. Will not be doing business here, but don't know how they are for new homes.

Called them two weeks ago got a hold of Leah to come out and replace everything from toilet to…read moreseptic tank because of a clog came out five days later. Didn't even show up to the correct Address to begin with was then told that we have to dig up the pipe running from the toilet to the septic tank And he'll be back in two days. Two days later comes and replaces everything except septic tank This was on a Friday. Clog reappeared after 20 flushes or between 12 and 24 hours. Call back Monday because they are not open on Saturday and Sunday was told it would be Friday before they come out again. Friday came out snaked all the way to the septic. And again worked for about 20 flushes or between 12 and 24 hours. They are supposed to build me for that one. The first time they came out, the bill was $320. This time the bill is $150. I cannot keep calling them every other day to come and fix a clog that was supposed to be fixed the first time call them today Monday again got a hold of Leah telling her the problem. She had a nasty attitude telling me that when he left it was clear that that's just how their scheduling works when I ask for someone to come out today and she said they cannot. Then told her I'm not paying them to temporarily fix the clog but to completely fix the clog and told her that this is the third time me calling and everything has been replaced she wants to tell me I haven't paid when I'm supposed to be billed even said that she just got the invoice to bill me. She then wants to say that it was fixed when her technician left, but it was only temporarily fixed because the clog is still there she then goes onto tell me that. they can have someone out here tomorrow to fix the issue again for the third time but it's not a guaranteed fix because other things might be in play as roots in the septic tank or the Customer putting things down the toilet. I then tell her. The only thing that we've been putting down the toilet is waste material from the body and toilet paper that is meant to go in the toilet She then repeats herself saying she can have someone out here tomorrow if I want to be put on the schedule to fix it, but I will have to pay again. I tell her I cannot be paying for them to come out every 2 to 3 days and be calling every Other day for it to be a temporary fixed, she ignores me Puts me on hold then again doubles down on rescheduling, but I will have to pay. This is ridiculous for me to continuously pay for them to fix a clog. And get blamed that it's my fault for a clog that was supposed to be fixed and for her to have an attitude and nastiness in a professional work environment that she is in is unacceptable. They do not fix the issue that they were given to fix they temporarily do it and think that's good enough. Would not recommend this business to anyone for anything.

They did not rush my husband and I off the phone. They were friendly, courteous, and very empathetic to our frustrating voice. The owner explained they could not get out that day due to still being on another job, but offered to come the next morning by 8:30 which is what they did. And they fixed the issue. After speaking with Carl on the phone, he assured me that he knew exactly what was wrong with my…read morehot water system and could fix it in no time without replacing it. He removed the filter in my master shower and replaced it with a new one, yet has as of yet to return and put it back to where the entire handle assemble is not sliding all over the place and the sleeve that should go into the wall is sliding back and forth out of the wall. This also did not fix the issue with the system and I still had to replace the system (which I had planned to do in the first place). I had called due to losing pressure through-out the home and especially no pressure on one of the sinks in the master bath vanity, and the hot water being off and on. He supposedly measured the area in which the tank was to go (yet failed to measure the doorway it needed to go through to get there) and attempted to take tank and box through it! When he was stopped, he instead opened it in my kitchen, scrapping custom paint off of the kitchen cabinet and not saying anything at all about it. He also scrapped custom paint off the inside of the vanity doors and never said a word. He then argued why I wanted to install a new toilet when it was the same size as the old toilet. Gee, maybe because I want a new one and your getting paid to put it in. He did not look to see what type of breaker he would need for the hot water system prior to installation and had to leave to purchase one. He also did not bring any shop rags to clean up while doing this job. He did ask for a couple which I did provide (I actually a large tote full of them since I do have a shop), yet he instead used our hand towels and wash clothes as rags!!! During this time, he also asked to borrow my flashlight (one that I actually use for work) and took it with him. After 6.5 hrs, the hot water heater was finally installed and his son had installed the toilet, along with doing all of the lines for the hot water tank, yet the shower handle was still not fixed. He stated he would be back on the following Monday, but never showed. When texted he stated he was out of town and would be back on Wednesday and would be here at 3PM. He texted at 1:02PM again saying he would not be here and he was still out of town, knowing full well that he had known this first thing that morning, yet he let me take time off work to wait for him. On top of all of this, the warranties for both the hot water heater and the toilet were thrown away by him!! What professional does this? I have worked with numerous "Professional Trades People" over the years and never had one of them be this inept or unprofessional. Let's top it off with his choice of 4 letter words that he likes to use when he gets upset when things are not working like they should in a clients home, especially female clients! This man was paid because he did make a set time to come back and finish the work, prior to finding the damage he had done and knowing that he had threw away the warranties and walked away with the flashlight. Due to the damage, time lost from work due to his inability to communicate, his total lack of any ability to return other peoples property, this man is so far from being a "Professional" as a snake (and that is giving snakes a bad name). He may at some point years ago been one, but that is stretching it. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CALL DRAIN KING PLUMBING INC in McAlpin, FL.!
