This company installed our cabinets and did a fair to good job. He mismeasured the placement of the…read moreupper cabinets and corrected for the microwave/range outlet by cutting out a chunk of wall stud to move the electric but overall we were mostly pleased with the outcome. The big problem came when we contracted for him to install a quartz countertop. The overhang was not consistent so the bar overhang varies by almost a half inch. The counter top touches the back sides of the stove but angles out by 1/8 inch on on side and 1/4 in on the other side. But the creme d'la creme was him sawing out a part of my cabinet trim to accommodate his mismeasurements. All of this could have been corrected easily but he refused to come by to check it out as he told us three separate times he would. I realize this is our error in that we paid him on the final day of installation because he had to leave and left his crew to finish up. Shame on us for assuming he would be a standup man who stands behind his work. My advice get someone qualified to do your counter work and never ever ever give final payment on assumptions of good ethics. It doesn't seem to exist with this company. I tried to attach pictures but only the destroy cabinet trim went through. BTW I live in Margate.

Due to hurricane Idalia and some strong wind storms recently some of the screws had raised up. Michael Pittman and Son Roofing is licensed and insured, which was very important to me as a customer as the pitch on my roof is very steep. We met with Michael and Son, they reviewed the issue of raised screws, made the recommendation to replace all current screws with an improved, slightly larger screw. We approved the quote for the work and was placed on the schedule. Crew worked very efficiently, cleaned up all screws removed, replaced the roof vent boots and caulked all boots against water intrusion. Communications via voice, email and text to keep us updated on the schedule and work being completed was excellent. Trevor Pittman was on site while the screw replacement was being completed. We feel we received an excellent job with the right company for our needs at a very good value. Would continue to recommend Michael Pittman and Son Roofing to others without hesitation. We prefer to support local companies whenever we are in need of replacements/repairs to our home.
