I had been looking for quality care from a psychiatrist who wasn't just there to prescribe…read moremedication, but to also genuinely check in on me and talk to me about things and feelings and whatnot. I was referred to Dr. Bahuguna by my wife's psychiatrist, and I am so happy with the care she provides. I see her biweekly, and she takes the time to check in on me, and she addresses my needs every session. She doesn't just ask me how I am, write on a prescription pad, and tell me to leave. She takes her time with me, asks me about the things going on in my life, and she listens to everything I bring up to her, offering sound advice that I take seriously and apply to my everyday life. As for her office, the setup is really great for privacy. The waiting room has a tv that's set to a good volume so you can hear it perfectly, and not hear anything in from her office. She also has two doors so you enter from one, and leave from another, which provides privacy for you and the next patient in the waiting room. You never see the next person, nor do they see you. If you need a psychiatrist you can trust, I highly recommend Dr. Bahuguna. I've been seeing her for about two years, and I'm very pleased with the care she provides.

During my annual physical, I felt that the care provided fell significantly below the expected standard. While annual physical is supposed to be a comprehensive review of my physical health, she rushed it through in less than 10 minutes, largely checking the boxes and lack of care at all. What is worse is her abusive billing practice afterwards. I was diagnosed with an early-stage chronical disease in the past that did not require treatment. During this visit, she proactively asked about it and I immediately stopped her by saying we don't need to talk about it. Still, she billed me for an additional office visit on top of the annual physical. Just like that, no treatment, no prescription, her asking me a question and my stopping her right away, she charged me an extra office visit! Outrageous! If you are looking for a new doctor or an existing patient going back to see her, watch out closely for her billing!
