Called Howland, since I bought the battery = +$700 less than 3 months prior, and told me to bring it in, would NOT CHARGE ME if needed new battery, b/c under warranty. (OTHER THAN having to jump it, the car was driving the same as before when I bought it January of 2025 - no leaks, everything electrical was same, no issues. I was even told by a few "audi experts" via websites and over the phone when describing the non-starting issue it COULD POSSIBLY even be [simply] the extreme cold Ohio is experiencing this winter, though I was not buying that - in 46 years on this plant, driving for 30, and growing up in OHIO, of all of the vehicles I have had/driven/owned, NONE have NOT STARTED BC OF THE OHIO WINTER CHILL). ANYWAY, get the car towed by Jae's last Sunday night from Heath Walmart parking lot, Monday a.m., I call Howland, tell them the car is on their lot, urge them to please fit me in b/c I have two very important appointments the next day, one for my VA therapy, the other for a civil matter downtown. They got me "IN" and proceeded to spin some made-up story about the oil filter having been "punctured" and the pics they sent to me to go over the "diagnosis" the mechanic found showed this "punctured oil filter" and that oil had been spewing all through the engine compartment , mainly the passenger side, and not only was that an issue, but the lever/pully that goes in ONE DIRECTION to engage the battery IS ACTUALLY GOING FREELY IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, which leads to me having to either pay $928 plus labor to replace that "lever/pully" or, replace the entire alternator, something upwards of $1300 plus labor....People, Ohio just experienced our first Winter of 25-26 snow storm a little more than a week ago - I have over a foot of snow in my yard, where I park, ACTUALLY, WHERE MY CAR WAS STUCK....and after getting shoveled out of that spot, snow packed clear up and beyond my wheel wells, THERE WAS NO OIL SPOT, NO OIL SPILLAGE, NO BLACK ANYTHING, ANYWHERE! Back to the story...I asked how much to replace the oil filter, top it off? (it was due for an oil change, anyway, I just hadn't gotten to that part yet as I was more concerned with getting my car to actually START first...) and Micah quoted me for like $63 and change or something like that. done. cc info over the phone, proceeded to get a ride out to the shop to pick up my Audi. the second I put it in drive, i am not even out of the lot yet, I am waiting on traffic, and I am using both feet - one on the brake, the other giving it gas - so it doesn't die on me.....every stop light on 79 to Hopewell, the light at Hopewell and National drive/13, the light at ISABELLE AND NATIONAL DRIVE, THE STOP SIGN AT 2ND STREET, AND THE CAR i HAD TO SLOW DOWN BEHIND BEFORE MY STREET, THE CAR DIED. EVERY TIME. i HAD TO PUT IT IN PARK, TURN IT OFF, RESTART IT, AND GUN IT BEFORE IT DIED. Their mechanic did this. it was their mechanic that punctured the oil filter, felt bad about making a huge boo boo like that, and that's why they didn't charge me the LABOR for replacing the oil filter/topping off the oil. THEY WEREN'T DOING ME A FAVOR. THE PROBLEMS i AM NOW HAVING ARE NOT BECAUSE OF THE TIMING CHAIN; i DON'T NEED A NEW ALTERNATOR OR BELT. THEY FUDGED UP AND WHAT THE HECK AM I GONNA DO ABOUT IT?! i AM A DISABLED NAVY VET WHO HASN'T WORKED SINCE 2016! i AM ON A FIXED INCOME, WITH NOBODY TO HELP ME BESIDES ME AT MY HOUSE. i CANNOT DRIVE MY CAR. i CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO LOOK AT IT! THIS BUSINESS MESSED UP MY PERFECTLY EXCELLENT RUNNING, IN PERFECT SHAPE, NOTHING WRONG WITH IT BESIDES NEEDING A NEW BATTERY CAR AND i CAN'T EVEN SELL IT, TRADE IT, NOTHING! DON'T GO TO THESE "EXPERTS IN EUROPEAN CARS." YOU MIGHT GET THE SAME IDIOT WHO MESSED UP MY CAR!

The Autohaus had serviced my husband's vintage Mercedes several years ago so I called and talked to Micah. He was friendly and knowledgeable and gave me an appointment that fit my schedule. They were able to diagnose and fix my issue at a reasonable cost and in a timely manner. What I appreciated most was Micah's detailed explanation of the issue and his honesty (didn't tell me there were a dozen other things wrong with my car). I am relieved that I have found a garage that I can trust.

When I informed our agent he referred us to an insurance estimator in Pataskala, Their price was 3600$. When I spoke to the Agent again, I wanted to get an additional estimate. He referred me to Pagani's in Downtown Newark. The Pagani brothers who own and manage the shop looked at the car, came out with a cleaner and removed EVERY SINGLE mark from the Headlight, frontend, hood and the protective clear cover on the nose. EVERYTHING!! It saved us our deductible and whatever increase in our insurance rate we surely would have incurred. Two different Auto shops wanted to charge us those outrageous prices for nothing more than elbow grease. The Pagani brothers refuse to except any money from us...... A Honest Auto Repair shop Jack V

My husband and I had no idea what today was going to look like or if/when we'd make it home. I called Statefarm and they recommended I take my car to your shop. When we called we talked to Julie in the Collision Department and she went above and beyond to help us. She walked us through our options, spent a long time trying to find us an available rental car, and at one point was even planning to drive us herself to Hertz after she got off of work. Because of her, we were now on our way home in a rental car and are able to pick out vehicle up at a later time. She completely turned an awful day around for me. Her customer service is beyond anything I've experienced before and I owe her the world. Give this woman a raise, promotion, or whatever you can give her. She deserves it!

had a very frustrating experience with John Hinderer Honda when returning my leased vehicle…read more On March 3rd, I brought my lease in for return and specifically confirmed with the sales representative that I would receive equity from the vehicle and that there would be no restocking fee. We agreed on an amount, completed paperwork, and they took possession of my car that day. Weeks went by and I never received the check. When I called, multiple employees had no record of my vehicle or the money owed to me. Thankfully, I kept my paperwork. I eventually had to go into the dealership myself, where I again was met with confusion before finally being issued a check. The issues didn't stop there. A month later, Honda Finance billed me for a payment due March 15th--even though I returned the car on March 3rd. I later learned the dealership didn't report the vehicle as returned until March 30th. Because of their delay, I'm now dealing with billing issues that shouldn't exist. On top of that, I was later charged a restocking fee that I was explicitly told I would not owe. During a recorded 3-way call with Honda Finance, a dealership representative stated he would take care of the issue and asked where to send the payment. After the call ended, he contacted me directly and said he would not be paying it. I am now working with the BBB, the Ohio Attorney General, and Honda Corporate to resolve this situation. This dealership is extremely disorganized, lacks communication, and does not stand behind what they tell customers. I would not recommend doing business here

The work they did had a 12 month guarantee, so I was still, and still am, within the warranty period. I contacted them a week ago and told them I have no air-conditioning in my car. They looked me up and said sure enough you are still under warranty, unfortunately you will have to go to the closest location to you..now that you've moved. They will do an inspection and then take care of it. The location closest to me is now an hour and 15 minute drive in Heath, Ohio. I contacted them and made the appointment and was there at 8:30 in the morning yesterday. I sat there for 4 1/2 hours waiting for them to tell me what was wrong and what they needed to do. I asked a couple times what the holdup was, and I was told they were trying to find a part. I said you haven't even told me what's wrong, so why am I waiting this long? I was dealing with a service adjuster named Nicole who was extremely curt and rude. Mind you, I spent $1600 to have my air-conditioning fixed last summer, and this facility comes back and tells me they will not cover it under warranty and now I need to pay almost $2000 to have my air-conditioning fixed again ($1915.16 to be exact). They told me The Gahanna location did not run die in the lines and there is a leak in one of the lines that cools the back half of my Ford Explorer. They even turned the screen around to show me what they found, and what needs done, and highlighted in red the screen said "prior store did not run die to check lines". I said if Gahanna messed up, then it should surely be under warranty. I asked her if I could take a picture of that screen so I had proof and she jerked the screen around and said absolutely not. I told them this was supposed to be under warranty, I'm not paying $2000 to have my air conditioning fixed, when I already paid $1600. And my roundtrip will be 2 1/2 hours. She said we will put the freon in for free but it's still going to be $1900. I'm super upset, that's a shady way to do business. I have contacted their corporate offices. This should be covered. Oh yeah, on top of all of that I never spoke to a supervisor, I never spoke to a manager. I was only able to deal with this Nicole (who should NOT be in customer service). She tried to explain to me that an air-conditioning system is like a heart, and when one of the veins is cut, you lose all the blood. I wanted to say, I'm not a freaking idiot. I know exactly what an air conditioning unit does and how it works. I expect someone from Firestone to contact me and I want my vehicle fixed.
