This review doesn't include Korean BBQ...but the food I had warrants a return to try their Korean BBQ.
This place is behind Strathfield Station, and gets pretty busy after 6pm. I wasn't feeling Korean BBQ so we opted for fried chicken and marinated beef (super healthy, I know.) The picture in the menu of the marinated beef is not the same as what you get, so be aware...they also say that in the menu, but you never expect it to be that drastic.
I mean, they had a piece of raw beef for the marinated beef photo and then we got something that looked like hot pot with vegetables...but the beef was underneath. Sneaky Koreans.
The banchan came out and it was pretty good, definitely one of the better ones I've had. They had this sweet potato or candied potato one that I've never had before that I would snack on forever if diabetes wasn't a thing...
Food came out quick; the fried chicken was alright...still like Arisun better. The marinated beef was really good, the soup and noodles were a good complement and overall I can't hate on this place.
Service is decent, make sure to pay at the front instead of asking the server. read more
