After getting our 5 year old Duralast battery jumped-off, we drove to Advanced Auto Parts, priced a battery over the phone, but decided to give autozone a call since they're the ones who sold the Duralast brand. Eddie was more than helpful matching up the right battery, testing the old one to verify fault, and giving me different price options to choose from. I was interested in the three year Gold battery, but when I asked Eddie if he happened to notice what my old battery was when he tested it, and he said it was just a 2-year battery that had lasted that long. Even though he could've used the opportunity to take advantage of me and upsell a 3 year, he was honest and gave us the less-expensive 2 year battery! (Most parts stores wouldn't contain such integrity as I've learned from personal experience of having been taking advantage of in the past) Eddie was intelligent, smiling, helpful, and patient with me. He went above and beyond to get us back into a state of security and peace of mind with our car's health. He even sold me some battery terminal lubricant to protect against corrosion. I had already purchased a new set of felt washers in the trunk from a recent battery replacement for another vehicle we own, but he made sure I knew to use them to prolong the battery's lifespan! My wife and I were grateful to have found a man who wanted to take care of US first, then our car. And more importantly, someone who wasn't just out for the sell, but to help! I pulled over and liquid was spraying everywhere over the engine. I added water, said a prayer, and endured a white knuckle ride along steep mountain roads with nowhere to pull over and no cell service. Thankfully I made it to the hotel in Gatlinburg where the rest of the coolant poured out of the car into the parking lot. I called Tony the next morning after checking out their reviews and he told me to drop the car off which I did at 10 AM. A few how hours later he had it diagnosed as a burned hole in a coolant hose caused by rubbing against the radiator due to poor design. I authorized fixing it and by 2 o'clock he had me back on the road for an extremely fair price. You do not want to pay dealer prices and these guys are very reasonable. I worked in a mechanics shop for 20 years so I know honest mechanics and Tony and Jim are it. If you have a problem with your vehicle in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville take it here. These are the guys to go to. I couldn't be happier. PS. Made it back to Florida after driving straight through for 12 hours with no problems. Thanks again guys.

With employees mopping the floors.there was no reason the manager shouldn't have dealt with me. Where I work we have waited as much as 30 minutes on customers after closing to help them.
