I went to Pull a Part to look for a wheel for my Honda. They didn't have one. A guy named Tom who worked there insisted that we look one more time for what I wanted. He got a golf cart and drove me back to look again. We still didn't find a wheel, but he was a very nice guy and I appreciated he took the time to recheck, I would highly recommend this place. read more

I went to get a fender today and took it off. Went to pay for it and she told me 74.00 and something I told her I could get a new one for 59.00. Needless to say I left their fender with them. Went to Lambert Auto Parts bought one for 30.00 My last trip to pull a part. Prices are outrageous. read more

I've shopped at Knoxville's Pull-a-Part for many years. And I've probably visited their salvage yard over 100 times, never with a complaint. However, post COVID-19, the place seems to have lost its cumulative mind! Over-reactions to security access is one issue, where an older man questioned my son as-if he was a Knox County prisoner, as we attempted to gain access. Yes, my son had appropriate ID and is 16 yoa, and he's authorized to be there, but the level of questioning at the front door, as the old man said many young kids "lie to him about their age". I stopped him and said that's enough, he has ID and he's with me, let's move on, shall we? Then after we shopped and pulled a few parts we were standing in line, and a Knox County Sheriff's deputy offered the final insult--not asking to see the contents of our nylon bags, not asking for us to open them, he simply unzipped our tool bags and started rifling through them. I complained to Pull-a-Part about the idiot Knox County Sheriff who cares not about the US Constitution nor boundaries of Illegal Search & Seizure, and Pull-a-Part said that's the way they want to do business. When things were looking most grim the find folks at Lamparts were able to take my car from me and offer me more than dealerships, online ".com" services would offer, etc. While I did not go and look around much I can tell you that they should most likely have any part imaginable for your vehicle if you need one. These guys don't mess around and get straight to the point. When I stopped by to complete my transaction there was almost no room for small talk. Probably because they were so damn busy! The phone and constant walk in traffic never stopped while I was there! lol Thanks guys for helping a brother out. I appreciate it. read more

First time going! This place is worse than a meat head gym with all the testosterone pumping, but hay it got the best of me too. If your looking for a part this is the place, its like a big scavenger hunt but they will give you a list of what your looking for to narrow it down and as cluttered as you would think it would be their row system works really well in spotting your part. OK, this is a first. Reviewing a junk yard. But all kidding aside, this place is cool as hell. There's a ton of eye candy in the way of old ransacked cars and interesting people. Pull A Part is where technology meets blue collar in the best way possible. Their entire inventory is catalogued online, so searching for cars that might have the part your after is easy. It's impossible to keep inventory of each little individual part, but there's a pretty solid chance you can find what you're looking for. The lot is broken down by manufacturer. It's all neat and organized. Everything you never expected from a junk yard. I was just in it this trip for a couple of horns for a prank, but I'll definitely be back to get my cars running in tip top shape! I bought 7 horns of varying sizes and models for $32! read more

BEWARE. AVOID this place. Do not buy a moving part here. They will not refund YOUR MONEY IF PART IS DEFECTIVE. You are better off buying at an auto parts store with a warranty. I purchased a used window motor which they charge me $35 for which was non-functional. You don't know the price until you get up to the damn counter. I could have purchased a motor with a life time warranty for a few more bucks ($5 more) at the auto parts store. On top of that, these people charge a core charge for a window motor. What a joke! This place has some rude workers inside the building. The workers outside are so helpful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone by my experience. Whatever you do don't walk in the building with your shirt off to go home. The guy will say you can't walk in the building without it on. read more
