I forgot what a great spot this is and right now it's not being utilized. I hope the future they do have more and more productions. Rogers the musical was amazing and I am so glad that we're able to see it towards the end of their run. The cast members did a great job organizing and directing where everybody should go. It was so blazing hot out that day that I was very thankful for the shade that the trees provided out there. While lining up, they had us choose what section of the auditorium we wanted to be in and we would wait in that designated area, but once we were there they would announce once the section was allowed to go inside, it was a free for all at that point and there is no line. I hope and I can't wait to see what they have in here next.

Definitely worth the price. The show tells the story of Captain America in about 35 minutes with singing and dancing. We sat 7th row center and could see everything. There were some song lyrics that were difficult to understand. Amazing talent and sets. The show is only running for 8 weeks, so see it soon!

Taking place at Plummer Park annual, typically during pride month, this queer and very inclusive convention brings together creators, creatives, vendors, small businesses, artist, actors, writers, illustrators, artist, comic enthusiasts, story tellers, local celebrities, cosplayers and then some! I've had the chance to get the full experience in my full on variant get up Fantastic Wolverine, claws out and cigar ready to be lit, but not permitted indoors for obvious reasons ;) ran into a lot cosplay friends and acquaintances - met Gui Agustini, the voice actor from X-Men 97's Sunspot, kind and beautiful both inside and out. Didn't realize I knew so many locals as at least five or more of my awesome creative pals were working their magic with their tables and booths nicely set between the Fiesta Hall on Vista St and the main recreation center on Santa Monica Blvd. The Fiesta Hall is also where the cosplay contest took place. I had just missed out of signing up, so maybe next year. Though I was really there to have fun, celebrity more of pride month, all things nerdy and geeky as well as support local and small businesses. I got quite a bit including a brand new Sunnydale High School drawstring from the Hellmouth Con area. My claws did a tiny number on it (on the way home, but it's still intact ;) Q Con ran from Noon until 6pm making it a full day, with discussion panels on a lot of great topics, with a lot of great people in the entertainment world, queer community, comic side and pro/top cosplayers. All the volunteers, security and even people were warm and friendly. A lot of people complemented my unique take and costume. Adorable kids were intrigues, very family friendly function. And I got a great pic with the one of the host Ember Vain (aka Dazzler) and her partner in crime, master of ceremonies Julian Jetson. Nothing but good times and good vibes. Hope it continues to grow and thrive, as I will continue to support whenever I can, in or out of uniform. "Where's my supersuit!?!"

If you come to Knott's often then you know this is where they have the ice skating rink and put on…read morean amazing Christmas show. They have about 4 or 5 performances throughout the day but my advice is to get there early if you want a good seat. If the show has a start time of 1PM we would typically start waiting in line at around 12PM. Even then you probably won't be the first people in line but you will still get a good seat. Once the line starts getting long they start making people go up the ramp and start making line up there. Be aware if you start going up your whole party must be with you as they will not let anyone go up that is left downstairs. Be aware that in this are you must fill in all the empty space. People do try to cut to get to the front so just be aware of that. Once they open the doors you enter from all the way up top unless you are handicapped then you are let in downstairs. You can choose to sit up top which is still a nice view but if you want to be up close you will need to make your way down all the stairs to make it to the front. As far as the show for the 2024 season they did change it up and make a just a little bit more modern which I loved. The performers all did an amazing job and of course we all love seeing the peanuts characters perform on ice. It was a great show and I hope they keep it the same next year or if they do change it I hope it is for the better. I do miss the summer show that they used to put on in this theatre. I'm not sure why they got rid of it but I hope they bring it back one day. If you come here during the holidays this is a must see show for all ages.

I prefer the Snoopy on Ice versus Beach Blanket Beagle, but both shows are pretty good and entertaining. They do sell show light up neon sticks which can interfere with your eyes as well. I will not review the show itself, but the best seat is up in front 2nd row in the middle as you can see everything. I never sat up in front for Beach Blanket Beagle though. They also have events there as well as I remember in high school the award ceremony was there. Oh yes no eating or drinking during the show and make sure your entire party is there.

This one wasn't nearly as much fun. It was more families and less sexy stormtrooper parties (yes, that is a thing). The biggest disappointment is that the ONE official Celebration store was so overwhelmed and underprepared that it was closed after the first full day. When we tried to go in, there was an absolutely enormous line just to enter and truly frightening lines to check out, so we just walked away. There also weren't as many interesting panels this time or big events/organized parties. It was basically shopping at a giant Star Wars garage sale. Which is still not a bad way to spend a day. The food options at this one were much improved as well. And I did come home with some very cool geek toys. MTFBWY!

They always seemed to be clueless about what was going on or how to handle a situation. This is the only issue I have with the event. The rest of it is fantastic. There's so much to see and do. Pro Tip: Even if you live close by, as I do. Choose a hotel that is close to the event and I mean basically next door like the Marriott or Hilton. The Marriott was where we stayed. It was well worth the money because you will be exhausted and hungry at the end of each day and it save so much time. We walked out of the event and were in our hotel or restaurant in less than 5 minutes. You can easily do that multiple times a day without hassle and using a car.

It was pretty hot out, around 100, on a Saturday, when we were at Disneyland. There are multiple showtimes for the Royal Theatre Fantasy Faire! If you have the Disneyland Mobile application, you can check there for showtimes. My husband and I ended up watching the 12:30 show. The theatre is an open-air medieval-style tent next to Maurice's treats and near the entrance to Adventureland! The show is approximately 25 minutes long. It's all bench style seating, and there is no AC. It is fully covered, though! You can also sit on the floor near the performers, too! It was such a great show! Mr.Smythe and Mr. Jones are the hosts of the show! You'll either see Beauty and the Beast or Tangled. We ended up watching Tangled. You'll see actors portray Rapunzel and Eugene! Mr.Smythe and Mr. Jones will join in the actions of other characters from the movie and even as the evil Mother Gothel! This show is a lot of fun and great to stop at, especially if you're looking to take a break from the rides! There are a lot of funny scenes during the show, and the props used looked amazing! Next time, I'll try to watch the Beauty and the Beast if it's still being performed at The Royal Theatre Fantasy Faire!

The Royal Theatre is an open-air tent that holds little plays for everyone to enjoy. On our two…read moremost recent visits to the Disneyland Park we were able to catch two shows of "Tangled" featuring Rapunzel and Eugene (Flynn Rider). And who can forget the evil Mother Gothel. I felt that the show was well done highlighting all of the memorable moments from the storyline, so the actors and actresses alone deserve five stars. The low rating is for the way the ushers handled the crowd once the show ended. Once we stepped out of the tent and turned around, we had noticed that Rapunzel had come out in the front from the side of the stage to greet the guests who were fortunate to still be slowly exiting the theater. My daughter wanted to meet her as well, so we had asked the usher if we could step back in to meet her, but were told that we couldn't enter once we had exited. We had just exited and were maybe three steps out the of the theater. That is ridiculous. Instead we were told to go to the part of Fantasyland near the King Arthur's Carousel and Dumbo ride and wait in line for her at her tower. So we immediately dashed across the park to her tower to only find that the wait would be another forty-five minutes. So we waited. Fifteen minutes into our wait they closed off the back of the line saying that Rapunzel needed to head back to do her next show. When we finally made it in to "meet" Rapunzel, she looked rather frazzled and annoyed forcing a quick smile for the cameras with our daughter, not even engaging with us. First off, we had just come from the show and this Rapunzel looked nothing like the "Rapunzel" character in the show. Second, why doesn't Disney hire another girl to play Rapunzel so the girls don't have to rush back and forth and be so grumpy?! A not so happy experience in supposedly the happiest place on earth.

This review is for Disney on Ice: Magic in the Stars…read more We came to the honda center for it, and felt like the stadium seating was larger and further with a smaller rink/stage, compared to Ontario's Toyota Arena. It was definitely a lot harder to see if you're seated too high up compared to Toyota Arena. The rink got colder as the show went on, so definitely bring a jacket. My kids didn't enjoy this show as much as the Frozen and Encanto one we saw last year. This show had very little special effects and more "couple" dances, but they all looked very similar after you see the first one or two. We did enjoy the cars performance because it was a little different, and then moana's act at the end. My daughter's favorite princesses are Elsa and Ariel, but Ariel never appeared for this show. There were 2 songs from Frozen 2 though! Even so, we had a nice afternoon here with the family.

3.5 star. Overall. Great event to bring small little kids…read moreto since there are lots of action and short segments of performances followed by one after another. Great for younger kids with shorter attention span, say pre-schooler and elementary kids. Personally, for me as an adult, it's not something I would watch on my own or if I'm going to attend with just fellow adult friends. The show feels a bit amateur and all over the place. I prefer performances with a better plot and theme that strongly ties in together. It's as if this show is put on for the sake of trying to lump in all Disney characters into one show however possible. But little kids like it and that's all that matters. Sacrifices of parenthood. The venue is "okay". Food is super expensive ($20 for 2 slices of pizza) and not even that good. No outside food allows whatsoever and you can't bring bags bigger than 8x5 or something small like that (they tell you on the website). Parking is $20.
