Finally I decided to asphalt the driveway and to be done with it forever. I shopped around, got estimates from a handful of contractors, and went and looked at some of their work, new and old. Mr. Cooper is not a salesman, he is a second generation paver working with his son and crew. I feel much better working with the person who is going to do the work compared to a salesperson who is going to tell you how good the work is going to be. With regards to the heating of our home, the windows were no better than screens. I reached out, looking for windows and installers. I had a few people come in and estimate the job. None of them impressed me until Greg from Windows on Washington came over. He walked me through several options and explained how the windows they used were manufactured and why. Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here.
