    Dog park!
    Ashley H.

This is literally the best dog park. It's so clean and big enough for there to be different dog groups to play with. Path to walk laps if you want to. Very clean and even has pools you can fill with water for your dog. We were just visiting but wish we had a dog park like this near us.

Great dog park! This park is divided into two sections, one for smaller/shy dogs and one for all the rest of the puppers. Both sections are large and well equipped. There is grass, sand and pea gravel here aling with some cement pathways. The three kiddie pools always had a beastie or two splashing around, and the expanse of grass was long enough for a good run. The people for the most part were friendly and engaged with all of the dogs. There are always a handful of humans who don't pay attention to their dogs; there were only one or two of these that I noticed here, which was a nice change. I look forward to bringing my pup here every chance we get.

We love this dog park! We moved here in November and are anxiously waiting for the grass side to open but we frequent Storey about 3x a week or so. I will say there are occasionally a few fiesty dogs but luckily with the huge baseball fields next to this park if things start to get rowdy I'll take my dog over to the grass fields and walk him around there. Great spot to get your steps in while your dog socializes too!

My favorite dog park in the area. Plenty of space to run and fetch, walk laps, or socialize. Some great agility equipment in the center, small pools in the warmer months, plenty of trash cans, and well-stocked bag stations. The park is fully fenced in and has double gated entrances. There's a smaller, separately fenced area for small dogs as well.

They have big tubs for the dogs to cool down

This is my dog's favorite spot! She has so much fun and she loves the water buckets (she loves to get messy!)

This is a super dog park. Every encounter with every person and dog there was so natural and friendly. I had just dropped my husband off at work around the corner wondering where to take my dog for her morning walk; happened upon this park and now it's a regular. I come all the way from Nyssa so this must be a good park!!

    Nice walkway and grass

Brand new dog park for Meridian. Opened 8/12/15. Been there twice and the dogs loved it. Sectioned into two areas, one for bigger dogs and one for smaller and older dogs. Areas have gravel, artificial turf, and real grass for the furries. Plenty of room in either section to throw a ball and for them to run. There are even real fire hydrants for the males to mark on. Water fountains for human and dogs are provided. Plenty of dog bag dispensers with widely spaced garbage cans to place the filled bags into. Please watch your dog and police up after them. They have made it easy to do this. Each area has a covered picnic table area and benches along the walkways. Walkways and parking lots are paved and wheelchairs can use them easily. Restrooms are easily accessible and meet handicapped standards. This weekend, the weather was cooler and the attendance was huge. Many dogs and kids and adults. No aggressive dogs were noted and play and running was the order of the day. Great way to socialize a dog who has not had much chance to be with other dogs and people. Just watch your dog if it is new to this experience and be prepared to leash and remove it it gets too defensive or offensive. (It is highly advised to not bring un-neutered males into the dog park , but not forbidden. Use extra caution.) Congratulations to Meridian Parks for this fine addition to their parks. One of the best in the Boise area and beats any of the Boise Dog parks. No bark chips means no splinters in the dogs' paws. And real dog pickup bags means no "holy" recycled grocery bags.

My dogs give this place two paws up. It is big, has water, and obstacles for the pups. It's also close to the freeway.

    Big park play area.

Stopped in here on our way to and from Utah. Great off leash park. All the humans were nice and our pup had a great time running off all his energy. Place was super clean and restrooms made for a great recharge before hitting the road. There's a spot for Big pups and a separate one for littles, our babe ran in both!

Saturday afternoon with about 30 dogs and more people

AvA has been to many Dog Parks in several states. This is one of her favorite. Lots of friendly and active dogs. Plenty of cool people to meet and mingle with. Good grass and pea gravel surfaces. Very little mud and plenty of room to Run.

3 stars for rude community members. Great facility however, I would make this a destination dog park in the future.

It's difficult to find, off E Amity Ave and the railroad tracks. I've been to several dog parks in CA and in comparison, this place is large and well maintained. Went around 8:30am on a Sunday and it was not too crowded. Mostly large dogs running around. . . and I mean running around. I could tell some knew the place pretty well. They were tearing the place up! Watching dogs play with abandon is such a happy sight. The main walking path is dirt and rocks and makes a circle in the park. At the back end is a nice grassy hill with trees. A large pond is in the middle and was closed off, but I'm sure is open during the warmer months. There was a man-made stream in the back area, too. An impressive small dog area is to the right side. Only saw one small dog while I was there and at one point, the owner joined the rest of us in the main area of the park. No other dogs bothered him or showed aggression. When spring comes, the grass and trees will be in their prime and this park will just be beautiful. I included many photos, because words can not do the place justice. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because parts of the park is showing wear and tear.
