They have a lot of things for the dogs to jump on, over, and through. And of course, a fire hydrant for the dogs to pee on! The day we went was not crowded, but the parking lot was, which makes me concerned if I happen to go on a day with many dogs, and owners, then I won't be able to find close parking. My smaller dog was approached by two larger aggressive dogs that did snap at my dog, and the owners took control to correct the situation, but staff did not. . Conclusion- I would return, but honestly it is not a convenient location for us, so I would not make this a regular place to visit.

The park is clean. The bridges that connect to each side of the river is so peaceful to walk over. Watching the river run it's course, seeing people float the river while leaving their cares behind or just soaking up the sun while on the bridge is just magical. It's one of the best parts of the park. Our walk was amazing today. We held our event at the Old Timers Shelter. As always, the picnic tables were clean. The foliage was lush. And our park was sparkling. It was great seeing people running, walking and cycling on the greenbelt. We made our way on our path passing the Ann Frank memorial and hitting a part of Julia Davis. This park will always have a piece of my heart. I will always remember the Boise River Festival. The big water fountain. Playing at the park and heading the ducks. Swinging on the swings chatting with a boy I was talking to. I look foward to many more memories at this park in my future.

If I had known about the bats, I would've visited sooner. This park has stocked ponds and fishing. I was there for almost 2 hours. All of these photos are taken in sequence with the intention of giving you a sense of what it's like to walk through the park and loop around to the sidewalk that runs down Maple, then re-enter the park and exit.
