It's the perfect venue for the walk. There are some walkers who have Multiple sclerosis so the fact that the paths are so easy for their walkers, mobility carts and wheelchairs help them out a lot. Having a nicely paved path for them is so important. I appreciate that there's so many things to do and see at the park. The walking trail of course. The big playground for the kiddos. The big water fountain to sit and chill by. The wildlife having babies and seeing them hanging out at the park. It's hard not to get sidetracked during the walk to look at all the ducklings. Kliener Park is so beautiful and clean. There's always a grip of people here all the time. It's great! People are out, enjoying the sun and getting in some physical activity. I wish I lived closer to this park. I would love to ride my bike down here just to get some fresh air and sun. I do look forward to coming back soon. Hopefully before next year's walk.

We went on a Saturday and the big pool had a swim meet so it was closed which was fine, but it wasn't posted anywhere. So we went in the other two pools. The problem is, we called ahead to get information since we'd never been before & at the front desk reiterated we had never been so wanted to make sure we were good to go info. However, the staff at the front desk was unpleasant and offered almost no information. You must have your ID with you which we had to go 20 minutes back for and was not told that on the phone. We brought 4 kids, two that can swim and two that can't yet so we borrowed life jackets and they swam for almost an hour in the non kiddie pool only to be told you can't be in here even with a life jacket so they kicked them out into the kiddie pool. Then they kept asking for necklaces which we didn't know what that meant and finally a lifeguard said they tell us if they can swim or not. This was an hour in style that point and they'd been swimming without them. The signage to the pools is atrocious and unclear. The bathrooms were dirty as were multiple spots in the pool. I even asked about memberships for the future, & the front desk person said "oh idk you'll need to call the manager" and walked away. I'm glad it was only $4 because it was a very stressful experience and next time we want to take the kids swimming, I think we will find somewhere else.

This is a great YMCA with lots of amenities! The pool area has several features -- a warm water…read morepool, lap pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, and big water slide. The slide isn't always staffed, but when it is, it's super fun... even as a grown up :-) They have a rock wall, track for walking/running, and offer fitness classes. My mom likes doing the circuit of machines up in the weight lifting area. There's lots of cardio equipment. I usually prefer the free weights and non-circuit resistance machines for my workouts, and I've found everything I needed at this YMCA. Staff and members are all friendly, and I've never felt uncomfortable working out here. Sometimes you end up weighting for weights or machines, especially during peak times, but that's pretty much how it goes at any gym. Membership is $50/month for one person, or I believe $80/month for two, so a bit of savings. Considering everything you have access to with a membership, it's honestly not a bad deal. I have paid as much or more for gyms with way fewer amenities, let alone for a yoga or pilates studio. Definitely a good option.

There are bathrooms, water fountains, a small parking lot and picnic tables. I almost wish I lived in the subdivision just to have convenient and quick access! The best part about this park is the ducks who live there. There are many, they are not shy, and if you walk up with snacks in hand, prepare to be surrounded! Please be advised if you have small kiddos, there is a duck pond and an irrigation canal/stream that runs along the back of the park. Here are a few…read moreof my observations since becoming a Villa Sport location: 1. cleanliness - the men's bathroom is disgusting. Old stains under urinals, dirty counters. floors seldom mopped. I can see same dirty spots for weeks without being touched. 2. Treadmill - I used to see staff wiping off treadmills. I no longer see this. The TV screens are frozen on many channels or not working. 3. Lifting machines- I never see any staff wiping them off. When this was Axiom they would be constantly cleaning them. I could go on and on. Overall a major decline in general cleanliness and maintenance. I have pointed out issues to front desk and staff but they don't appear to be interested. I continue to be a member because it's close by. I worry about flu and COVID anytime I touch anything here.
