It's really easy to find, just take Yankee Valley Drive and go east until you see it. You'll pass a Storage Mart on the left. Airdrie Mini storage is on the right. The lady who runs this place, Anita is the bomb. She is so helpful and accommodating. She is there all the time because she lives on site. It's nice to have someone there all the time in case you need something and they're watching over the units. The prices can't be matched anywhere in Calgary which is why I chose this place. I rent a 10 x 15' space which is cheaper than the one I had previously in Calgary. They can do up an automatic payment if you want, phone your payment in or drop it off in person. They're really flexible and accommodating which is super duper fantastic. The map on here doesn't give a true representation of where this storage is located. Like I mentioned just take Yankee Valley East and you'll get there. It's close to the airport.

A company I work for rented a unit here and paid for a full years rental. It ended up that they no…read morelonger needed the unit by early June. I went in and emptied the unit and cleaned it and turned in the access card. Then found out from the company I was working for that there are no refunds so we had the unit until December 31. This struck me as odd as usually most storage companies will make you pay until the end of the current or following month. As a business person it seemed like poor business practice. A month and a half later I called the storage company to say I was coming down to put something back in the unit and would need an Access Pass. No one returned my call and when I arrived the guy at the storage company said they had already re-rented the unit as a waiver had been signed that released the unit. So in reality they're getting paid twice each month for this unit for the next 5 months. I understand having a one or even two month penalty if you break the years rental agreement but to make a renter pay for 5 months seems excessive. There is no legal recourse so I recommend anyone renting here beware of what you're signing as it may not be explained but you have to live with what you sign off on.

I had to SHOW my lock before they took theirs off. The guy said oh, if they came in the evening and we put our lock on , they'd be mad. I told him well it creeps me out when I come in the evening and see that they don't have a lock (I am a woman). During the move-in, the movers caused damage to my newly built apartment building by backing their truck into a large custom exterior drainage and steel decorative frame. They are flatly refusing to cover the repair costs, refusing to provide their certificate of insurance, and are completely ignoring all phone calls and emails from my building's owners and property management company. Because they are dodging accountability, I am now stuck in the middle of a dispute with my new building management. Do not trust this company. If anything goes wrong on your move, they will ghost you and leave you to deal with the fallout.
