When I contacted the office to let them know they casually said "oh, we were broken into a few weeks ago". I asked why they did not inform the renters and they said we figured folks would let us know if anything was taken or broken. I said the reason I used this storage was because you had a secure facility with 24 hour monitoring. they said they cut the fence and drove in and stole several generators and apparently my bike. I think if there was monitoring that they would have been there when the break in occurred, had an alarm system or even proper cameras. They had none. Basically the answer is buyers beware because at the end of the day you are on your own and quite frankly they don't give a shit if your RV, bike, boat or any other important piece of property is damaged or stolen you are on your own and the security is a joke.

I was recently in Grand Junction, CO on a business/vacation and I needed storage. After making my…read moredelivery, we were going to the Grand Canyon and I didn't want to pull my trailer all the way there and back, so I needed storage for the trailer. This was going to be a short term storage for 4-6 days, and I was going to pick up the trailer on my way home. I checked several places that were full and wanted to put me on a waiting list. Finally I stopped at "A Storage Place" located at 2980 North ave. They had room for my trailer. I dealt with Jim and Ross, who were great and easy to deal with. We quickly filled out the paperwork, got my trailer parked, and I was on my way to the Grand Canyon. The trailer storage cost me $40, which is about what I was expecting to pay and that would have given me 1 month of storage. This facility is very secure with a gate. The only way in or out is with a code. There are security cameras everywhere. Nobody is going to steal or damage your property. This place is very clean also! If I'm ever in Colorado again and need storage, this is where I will go. You guys rock! Thanks for the help.

I called to close out the account and was told on the phone they would charge me 1/2 month as i was only 10 days late. When i got to the storage place Denver was rude and short with me. He charged me the full months amount and a late fee. Denver is a liar and a thief in my opinion do not recommend them based on the rude staff and dirty units.

The technician came into my home assess the situation, sprayed the area reducing my harm and the harm to others. They understood my need to get more than one bid and they were patient and waited for me to do my research. Once I picked them as my company of choice they were very responsive professional, and took care of all of my needs, including. The removal of the sink, base removal of molded drywall and the killing of all the mold spores. Once the sink base was removed. they then proceeded to take the old sink base to the shop where they took the old doors off of the molded sink base and put them on a brand new mold free sink base. note the doors were not molded therefore they could be reused again. while the sink base was under repair, the technician Russell came back and put in new drywall, then proceeded to put two coats of paint on the drywall. once the sink base was repaired, Russell retrieved it from the shop. Return to my home and put the sink base back in place. and they did what they said they would do in that. They returned my cabinet and wall back to its original condition before the leak occurred. everyone that I worked with at Restoration One were very professional, upfront, honest, and they also were very clean in the construction process. during the construction process, Russell had a light that he was using to illuminate the area. I am visually impaired and have some vision, and I asked him where he got his light. This light was unique in that it was on the stand, and could be moved from one place to another. It was also extremely bright and very useful, as I require bright light to see what it is, I am doing. Russell explain to me where he got the light, and then he was such a kind person. He actually provided me with a light exactly the same as the light he used. now this is a company that goes above and beyond to make things right for the customer. this is a company I highly recommend and would use them again if the need should arise. Fantastic company and the customer service and professionalism was second to none. they have restored my faith in locally owned businesses in the Grand Junction area. if you are wanting to use Benjamin Franklin, heating and plumbing, I would go and look at the reviews which are not very good. I cannot recommend Benjamin Franklin heating and plumbing for my plumbing needs. my review of Benjamin Franklin, heating and plumbing. Explains all you need to know about that company. thanks to Restoration One, Western Colorado. We are back on our feet again and we do not have mold under our sink anymore. Thank you, Restoration One, Western Colorado.

This incident has been documented and reported. EDIT 2: I found out they do business as "Fantastic Movers" as well. I am not happy with the service I received. I hired Moving Helper for a local move and was quoted approximately 8 hours. The final time was more than 11 hours, significantly increasing the cost. During the move: * Multiple fragile items were broken (including several glasses). * Boxes were stacked five high, resulting in a clearly labeled fragile box falling from the top. * Mattress covers were not used. * In 11 hours they didn't finish moving everything from my house (including a TV). * The crew took frequent breaks and asked me to move items myself. * Professional conduct was lacking (loud music and excessive cursing inside the home). When I contacted the owner Jim to address these issues, the response was defensive. I was told the damages were due to how I packed items. He also stated that a refund would have been offered if I were not already receiving a "discounted rate," although the rate charged was the rate quoted upfront. Moving is already stressful, and the lack of care and professionalism -- both during the move and afterward -- made the experience more difficult than it needed to be. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before booking.
