So we had to put half our house's stuff in storage. We liked Sierra's Glen because it was close to our apt, but also because of the way it looked. More of a woodsy location than the other nearby self storage on Derry Street. That's pretty much why we took it. It also had some multi-month deal going on last summer .... so that kind of clenched it for us. The folks were always nice and helpful. I called them several times from Virginia to get pricing and ask questions, and to set up a unit for us. My husband showed up from Va with a load of stuff, and the folks were helpful in showing him in. The units are behind a gated area. You can access all day until a particular time at night, at which you can no longer enter until the next morning. We've never had an issue with entering the gate to get at our stuff whenever we needed. Sometimes during the year we'd pop over to file stuff in our filing cabinets, or to just check and see that we actually have all that stuff :D We got the single-car garage sized unit for a year. It's been really great for us and now that we're in a house, the stuff has come back. Having our things in storage for a year was painful sometimes (no idea where some of my clothes are, and nearly all my books are in there - oh the pain). However, it's been nice living with minimal things, and we're going through the stuff we've lived without for a year, and will donate or sell most of it that we absolutely do not need. We've lived without thinking about 90% of that stuff for a year, and could safely chuck most of it without another thought. :D Very grateful for Sierra's Glen to providing this service to us.

Easy in and out, paved interior roads, gravel sites. Some sites slope front to back a bit, but a level spot can be found. Quiet unless you are in the sites near 283 (higher numbered sites on each row). Clean pool, easy turns and clearances for big rigs. Delighted to visit again when touring the area.

What the hell causes aluminum to mold?! We're convinced there was a leak at some point because the floor still had water spots. We notified the office staff (David) on Saturday while moving out and he took photos of everything. Then we tried daily for a week to get the manager (Sylvia) on the phone. Clearly they have caller ID and she would never answer or return our voicemails. We were out 80% of the items we stored plus the $1800 in storage fees. We have stored items in other facilities before, even for longer periods of time and never had any issues. DO NOT RENT HERE!

I moved out on time and the next day was charged for an extra month. When I complained I was told that the company was not responsible for what their employee told me. They refused to give me the contact information of someone higher in the company and then refused to contact me back. They have poorly trained employees, it appears, and customer satisfaction does not appear to mean anything to them. I would advise others to beware.

Recently made a cross country move and rented an 8x7x6 foot POD unit to pack up my studio…read moreapartment. Our POD was delivered on schedule to the Middletown location (actually a day earlier than the estimate I was given). I called ahead a few days ago to ask if I could access the contents of my POD and was able to schedule it later in the week to go retrieve my items. At least for this location, the PODs can be accessed between 8am-3pm. When you arrive, you can call the number on the front door and someone will come help move your POD storage box outside with a lil truck--just make sure you bring your key! The manager (whose name I believe was Jim) was super helpful the day my dad and I tried to access my POD. We struggled to open up the pull gate (some furniture had moved in transit and jammed the door) and Jim helped us even push the box open and troubleshoot. Moving is extremely painful, so we were super grateful for his help!

Please note that a permit is required to park the storage unit on the street near our property. We live in an older home; our garage is detached and on the back of our property. Upon arrival to the facility a week later, Cerisa welcomed us as if we were one of the family. It was the simplest of check in processes. They even offer free internet and use of the bathroom facilities in the office. We were in an out of the facility many times moving in and then moving out. When my husband set up the rental of storage, he waved the extra cost of storage unit insurance they offered, and planned to use homeowners insurance. Now I need to make a claim for homeowners insurance for all of these items they have damaged. I spoke with a staff member, Moe. He appeared very apologetic and understanding of the situation. I am hoping they will reimburse our last month of rent at the very least. It will not make any difference in all of the money we've lost due to damages, but at least it would be a good faith gesture. Very disappointed in the way they stored our furniture. Update: spoke with staff member Chastity today. The account was not closed as requested yesterday. They are taking no responsibility for the damage done, and will not do any reimbursements. In fact, they do not prorate the last month of unit rent. That means the full amount for unit rental paid 12 days ago will be kept in full period a month of rent for only 12 days of years, which would have been 11 days had they closed when requested. Very disappointed in the business practices displayed here, and will never recommend the services of this company.
