It was very painful to lift all 5 tanks, and the guy had no hustle or desire to help me.He was annoyed having to apply the Safeway discount and fill each tank himself, and he was huffing and sighing each time he filled the next one.Another man was very friendly and helped me get some tape to cover a missing cap on my tank vent. He was cool. But the other dude was not.I am in Salem often enough that there is no reason to ever come here. Aside from that fact, their pricing is above the fair market price, usually by at least 10 cents a gallon. They do this because they are the only station locally that takes Safeway discounts, and that is why they are exploitative. I would have saved about 6 dollars by buying in Salem.I will never return to this establishment, and I strongly recommend others avoid them as well until service quality improves.

The sun was shining as we drove through Willamette National Forest, then past Detroit Lake. I didn't think to stop for gas and got critically low, with no service to help me find out where the next station was. I was completely stressed out, until I saw that we were approaching Mill City, somewhere I'd been before. My phone finally got a signal, and I located this station 2 miles down the road. My fuel light was on the last bar as I pulled into the station. The attendant was great, and filled my car up for $3.09. We hit the road again, relieved to have survived that close call. The sky grew cloudy, but we were safe, and almost home.

The employees were friendly and I was able to get some snacks quickly and get back on the road. My only negative was that they had the exact same postcards and souvenirs that were there in the Fall of 2025. I looked all over Oregon for souvenirs and postcards! Not a deal breaker, obvi, just a bit sad. Looking forward to my 3rd visit here in the near future. Just fingers crossed they will have updated their inventory of Oregon souvenirs. :) Stop by Love's!
