For a restaurant that's located in the CUTS of Cabo, this place was pretty damn exceptional!!! The service was great, the food was outstanding, and the price was RIIIIIGHT Ladies and Gentleman! Mm hmm... Stop Light? Oh yeah, they DID THAT!
We ended up stopping here during our tour and I've gotta say, this was probably the best meal that I had during my stay in Cabo! I can't believe that this restaurant hasn't gotten more exposure. The location could definitely be the fault for that as it's tucked away on an off street behind Office Depot. It's not located near the main Cabo Strip so you'll have to drive or catch a ride down here. But TRUST me; it's so worth it!
The signage is colorful and cute and the decor is adorable! It's got a nice little ambience going on too. The service is truly amazing! We ordered from a special menu that was available during our tour, but I believe that most of the items on this menu are also available on their regular menu. We ordered a variety of dishes: chicken fajitas, grilled fish plate, steak tacos, chicken enchiladas, and shrimp quesadillas. Their menu is quite extensive.
They started us off with chips and salsa and green salads, both of which were tasty! Loved the flavor of the salsa and the chips were obviously homemade. The green salad was refreshing and came topped with a heaping amount of fresh avocado... yep, my FAVE! Mmm! We were also given complimentary fresh cantaloupe juice! OMGAAAH y'all! That juice was on HIT! I think I had about 5 or 6 glasses of it, no lie! It was so good!
Our entrees arrived shortly after and boy were they all a sight to see! Everything looked and smelled AMAZING! I had the shrimp quesadillas and my oh my were they scrumptious! The cheese: perfectly melted. The shrimp: plump, juicy, flavorful, and LOTS of it! It also came accompanied with beans, rice, and homemade guacamole. DAYUUUM... those BEANS! That GUACAMOLE! Mmm, mmm, MMMM! Hella authentic, HELLA delicious! My tummy luvah dub dubbed it to death!
The portions: HUGE! I couldn't even finish my last shrimp enchilada y'all! And I HATE wasting food! I tried so damn hard, but my belly told me that it had enough. They gave me 3 enchiladas and all of them were stuffed to the max with shrimp. There was no shortage of food here! BUT... I had to have dessert. It was a tiny piece of yummilicious flan that I struggled to finish, but it was damn good too! And peep this; I don't really even like flan. But their's was moist and delish!
Service was on point the entire time! They cleared our plates as soon as we finished each item, refilled our glasses continuously and had our checks back quickly and efficiently. All of this food for only $10 USD!!! WOW! You'd be paying almost double that for only a portion of what we had if you were eating on the main Cabo strip.
Apparently, this restaurant has been around for over 20 years but they closed down for quite some time and only recently reopened again within the last few years. Not sure why they closed down in the first place, but I am truly honored to have experienced their delicious food! I will without a doubt be coming back here if and when I'm back in Cabo!!! read more
