Wanted to check out Trader Joe's in Clifton, NJ very pleasant experience…read more It was a busy Sunday afternoon. Parking was very easy. Loved the outdoor fall display. Walked over to produce and samples were being served of tasty butternut squash risotto! It was so delicious, that i ended up purchasing a bag. Goes great with fish, poultry, vegetables, or a stand alone meal. Of course I needed to stock up on my stash of pumpkin seeds, trail mix, and other nuts that I love to snack on at home or while on the go. Check out was interesting, so used to being directed as to which check out register to head over to. This location customers can pick any checkout counter they wish. All of the store personnel are friendly, everything is stocked nicely, and organized. Definitely would visit again. The atmosphere is great!

Everything was delicious--and the price was incredible! I also discovered a beet and orange juice that was absolutely delightful. It was a complete, nutritious meal, so I was able to eat in just 15 to 20 minutes and get right back to work. I really enjoy coming here because I find such a wide variety of prepared foods--all with a home-cooked feel and plenty of nutritious options. I can visit once a month, and there will always be something different to eat. Kudos to you all! Keep up the great work and the excellent customer service. Blessings to everyone.

If entering from inside the mall, it's a straight walk down the corridor. I came in to get something to eat because the pickings are slim when it comes to food options at Bergen Town Center. I couldn't go wrong with the shrimp tempura kabuki roll. Aside from a few shells that were left in, this roll was fantastic. The brown rice was actually great together with the spicy mayo, brown sauce and gari. Soy sauce wasn't even necessary. I only wish there was a little more gari on the platter. For $11.49, it was a deal. If eating food inside Whole Foods, there are numerous places to sit as well as a lounge area right outside. I found the associate I asked for help sourcing a product to very helpful. She pointed to the area where she believed the product was. After I had been standing there clueless still looking, she came back over and asked me for more details. Unfortunately, they didn't carry the brand. The queue for self checkout went by fairly quickly as there were so many kiosks. I'd recommend this Whole Foods location many times over!

Aldi, a discounted supermarket chain, provides some cushioning with their outrageously low prices. The last time I shopped, I walked out with 3 full bags that cost me around $50-$60. The only downside is that they have very limited products and variety. It's a small store that carries few brands. I wouldn't call this your one-stop shop for groceries, but you can get some fruits, veggies, milk, bread, eggs, and poultry here. This Hackensack location does a decent job of keeping the store clean and organized. Inventory is usually well stocked. For the most part, the produce is fresh and good quality. The cashiers are friendly and they have self-checkout lanes. Overall, it's worth a shot browsing around. I keep Aldi in my rotation for my grocery needs.

Make sure to check your receipt after checkout…read more I've been shopping at H-Mart Linwood Plaza for a while, and honestly, it feels like I'm getting scammed every time. Out of every 10 visits, at least 7 times I've been overcharged because the cashier doesn't scan items correctly or prices don't match the label. Today, I bought napa cabbage--exactly the same type--and one was charged $9 while another was $4. When I asked for a refund, they only subtracted $1.60 instead of the full difference. This is ridiculous and unacceptable for a store of this size. I love H-Mart products, but I can't trust that I'm being charged correctly. They need to fix their pricing system and train staff properly. Until then, I'll be extremely careful and double-check every item at checkout.
